"We missed the boat with Frank, I'd look at Silva now. The Everton gig might put people off but he jogged Watford on at the first sign of more money so maybe he can't be tempted again"

"If I'm honest there are plenty of managers around who can organise a team. To get top players to perform you need a manager who players respect and have pedigree. To get average players to perform you just need a decent man manager and motivator with a bit of tactical nous. Moyes has not got the pedigree or respect of the foreign players that come here. He hasn't won things, he hasn't played at the top level, he doesn't have the man management skills. I don't see him addressing these weaknesses. He is very reliant on a Noble or Nolan type character pulling the team together."

"FCJ - does seem that way. My 'evidence' is purely anecdotal and based on what a good mate of mine tells me. But he's served at Chelsea under a few managers now and he says that the atmosphere there has been bonkers since the takeover - even less secure and permanent-sounding than under Abramovic. Apparently the new lot seem to think that creating a sense of uncertainty and fear for jobs is a good way of getting results! They do sound like investors and finance people - and not football folk. Maybe they will learn in time, though. Brash Yanks at the moment. Anyway, that's Chelsea and I couldn't care less about them (providing they don't sack my mate, who's a good fella with a family to feed!). Back to West Ham..."

If you think Sullivan is bad then Boehly is several times worse. Absolute moron of a man. Potter will be gone soon but he'll get a big payoff and then probably move to Spurs.

"Bit of an aside, this, in the Moyes debate - but this is a message I received from a mate who works for Chelsea... ""Close advisor to Boehly (got shedloads) at Cobham talking loudly about who next manager will sign in summer. In front of Graham's staff. Managers barely in control here."""

"Moyes just makes me angry now. The sight and sound of him make me grate my teeth. His soundbites, his bullshit, that condescending face he makes when he speaks that says to the journo ""How dare you question me"". Sick, sick, sick of him."

"Like others have said, it's quite simple really. Replace Moyes with someone half decent (hopefully decent) and we sort this mess out and climb the table. Keep Moyes and we are basically playing Russian Roulette with the other shit sides in the league. The bloke is literally asking to be put out of his misery. He's lost and he knows it."

"Word from a close mate inside Chelsea is that their impatient new owners are thinking of cutting Potter already. Apparently, one or two of the brash new owners are openly talking about it - meaning the atmosphere in Cobham (training) is poor. If they cut Potter, we shouldn't hesitate to bring him in. He would do us a job - and longer-term, too. Him and Chelsea's impatient and frenzied new owners are never going to last."

"The most likely saving grace is that there are some very poor sides around us. Southampton look spent at the moment, Wolves are very shaky, Everton clueless under a confused Lamps, Bournemouth too, Leeds aren't really much cop (as we saw the other night) and Forest have improved only slightly from a low base. There are enough poor sides around - and we are one of them at the moment - to ensure that even a slight improvement in coaching (most likely) or coherence (we can only hope) would see us OK. But that all points to Moyes needing to go."

"Wolves and Everton, the next two PL games, are massive for us this season - and, in my opinion, will determine whether we get relegated or not. Because after that we play Newcastle, Chelsea and Spurs in quick succession. February is looking grim under a Moyes-led side which, according to his former assistant manager (Pearce) genuinely writes off games against the so-called top six. He may need to take four points from these next two games against fellow strugglers. If we lose even one of them then we most likely will still be in serious trouble as we enter March. I genuinely can't see where a Moyes-led West Ham, playing the way they have since February last year, gets 25 points to achieve the supposed magical 40 points before the end of this season. We might end up relying on the utter dross around us to secure even fewer points."

Can anyone ever imagine Moyes doing a tactical sub in the first half which a few younger. more dynamic managers have done over the last few years? Makes it even more easier to do now you can make 5 subs.

Ha that is funny about the time it takes for us prepare the subs. A tactical substitution takes ages for player to come on; warm up and then the 5 minute iPad chat with Nolan which can't say anymore than say score or defend. When an injury they are on in seconds ; no warm up and no iPad treatment! Also don't get me started on the 62 minute sub Moyes does every game. Play it next game. Will make yourself some money.

"Moyes's in-game management is beyond a fucking disgrace. The bloke don't know when to bring subs on, who to bring on, how to see how the game and know when hitting on the counter is the best option. He's a dinosaur with 1 tactics, go ahead and sit back soak up pressure and hope for the best. The other night proved that"

"The Paqueta sub was ridiculous. The best player on the pitch, created loads of space for others, looked comfortable on the ball and was starting to gel with his teammates and then that absolute disgrace of a manager subs him off - in a game we could have won rather than be holding on and lucky to get a draw because of his subs. He'll never change and needs to be gone. We've got good players and this idiot will have them asking their agents to look for a move away."

Make no mistake Moyes is a bigger threat to us going down than any of the sides around us . those substitutions against Leeds were disgraceful . Paqueta was the best player on the park by a long way yet he took him off . And have you ever seen Moyes prepare a substitution quicker than him wanting to bring on cresswell. As soon as he came on we dropped back by at least 15 yards . Truth is Sullivan cannot see beyond march and the embarrassment clause ending.

I think I would prefer one of those dozy Arthur performances than everything else that's being served up this season
