Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"When all is said and done, the conclusion is the same every year. David Sullivan is the problem ( definitely not the solution). I think his intentions or wishes are are actually commendable. He does want the club to do well and no one can now complain about the investment. In the past, he has not had the means and undoubtedly was prioritising his wealth, the stadium move and being dishonest. But last couple of years and kretinski on board we have been able to invest more and have. But then it comes down to ultimately his character defects, judgement, inability, perhaps due to small stature, to recognise his year on year failure to plan and operate a professional football club. He is hopeless, clueless and aside from 3-4 seasons his tenure has seen abject failure. 10 seasons of underachievement and not coming close to average most the time. Yet he still keeps a firm grip on the reigns and refuses or does not listen to advice or tge wrong advice. Players, managers come and go but the circus goes on. Nothing will ever truly change until we get the right owners"
Re: Moyes Out
"This is so typical of West Ham. We have a dispirited, disparate, aging, slow and injury ravaged squad. A new manager is the only way to inject renewed life and give everybody a lift. We pick up the odd result which keeps the dinosaur Moyes in the job whilst all the teams around us do the right thing and change managers. It's so bloody depressing. Fuck off Sullivan and take Moyes with you."

Re: Moyes Out
Dyche coming in for them is bad news for West Ham. He will shore that back line up and make them win ugly. They will be tougher defensively and will no doubt be hard to break down. Watch them move away from us. The dirty blue scousers will again avoid relegation just like last season.

Re: Moyes Out
"Dyche is exactly the manager they need. Everyone will get a clean slate there and they have some fucking good players who can turn in a shift. It will be a battle but they arent cut adrift and they could easily go on a 3-4 games unbeaten run picking up some points by grinding out a point or more. Dyche is exactly the man you would want to bring some grit and determination to the side. He won't need alot of money as players like Onana will shine under him and wouldn't put it past Calvert Lewin to start finding the net again. Contrast that to us where 1 win against a shit Everton team and everyone has suddenly jumped back on the moyesiah bandwagon, especially mainstream media pundits who need their fucking head testing. We are onto nothing with the dinosaur in charge, I just wish Sullivan could see it too."
Re: Moyes Out
Dyche was underrated. I suspect you will see a rapid turnaround at Everton. Sullivan's inaction and ineptitude and lack of emotional fortitude is proving costly. We are relying on no injuries again but as we are seeing this season that ain't happening.
Re: Moyes Out
"Stevethehammer 11:04 Thu Jan 26 Agree mostly except the ""run, run, run""ù but as we have the lowest stats for that in the league or did until very recently But otherwise you're right about the tactics sucking the energy and enthusiasm from players. I struggle to think of any team now that plays the strict deep lying, static style we do ? Like Moyes it's a relic of the past ."

"Yeah, I'm with the others. From a West Ham point of view, Dyche joining them isn't the best of news."

Re: Moyes Out
Jaye You're right...pretty sure that Dyche would get a tune out of Coady and Tarkovski in defence - they would improve plus one or two others like Holgate and the much maligned Keane...
Re: Moyes Out
"Dyche would sort their basic problems and keep them up, cannot see moyes doing that for us!"

Re: Moyes Out
"I think he has lost alot of the players with the change of tactics and desired style. We have some very good technical footballers in the team who have had their talents sucked out of them in favour of run run run, backs to the walls defense style. Someone willing to the take the shackles off and let players like Benrahma and Paqueta play would see a massive improvement I reckon. Moyes has reverted to type, the dinosaur tactics, the game has moved on, he still thinks its early 2000. Probably wondering if Tim Cahill can still do a job."

Re: Moyes Out
It obvious the players have had enough of him. I blame our chairman more than anything. 30 plus years sitting in the stands and he still can't read a simple football match.

Re: Moyes Out
"I noticed and posted on the match thread that when hooked Paq' walked straight past Moyes and ignored his hand, contemptuous expression Interesting if there is a growing resentment, any links to that anyone?"

Re: Moyes Out
"The ideal scenario for me is that Moyes turns it around, keeps us up while Everton eventually get relegated and in the summer we appoint a young progressive manager like Oliver Glasner at Frankfurt The only spanner in this cunning plan is if Moyes keeps us up and then proceeds to win the UEFA CL"
Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes managerial stint 2nd time around was looking decent 12+ months back. His inability to adapt and change has led to him being the worst manager in the top flight in such a short time. It's been one almighty crash back down and show little sign of losing pace. How do you spend what he has and make things so so bad / hopeless? It's some feat. Sullivan continues to fiddle while Moyes burns the place down. The contributions of messrs Nevin and Nolan should not be undervalued either. Football equivalent of the Marx Bros. No real change in the way we play despite 8, soon to be 9, maybe 10 new players. Slow and ponderous is the lynch pin allied to poor passing, control of a football and nonexistent pressing against any team. Slowly the ball goes side to side, forward.a tad then back again before someone gets caught in possession, a pass goes astray or someone miscontrols it. At the back no involvement from the goalkeeper when we do have possession, we get pressed and either pass it back to Fab to launch it or one of our defenders does and the little but if possession we had ends. Only team doing this now pretty much. All the others must be wrong in Moyes and Nevin's head? Watch Derby outplay us Saturday and dominate possession but unlike Everton have the abiiity to score. Danish part timers were dominating the ball against us. 200 million later and we see no, nowt, zilch improvement. And Sullivan continues to fiddle both metaphorically as well as literally"
Re: Moyes Out
"Sully Not sure how Everton could 'easily' win 4 of the next 7 when they've won 3 all season and in their next 7 games they have Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham in those fixtures"

Re: Moyes Out
We don't go down under any half decent manager. Absolutely no chance. But if anyone could achieve it . Moyes is your man .
Re: Moyes Out
Financially they are pickled. They have spunked north of £600 million since Moshiri rocked up. And are relying on a bidding war for a 19 year old to save them. They couldn't even afford Ings.! And Onana already wants outs. Sure. We may drop. But it will be alongside the Blue half of Merseyside.

Re: Moyes Out
"I disagree Everton are gone. If you look at their team, they do have some good players who could perform at any given time. We saw the same Everton last year struggle but had enough in them to stay up. I believe it's a case of more of the same this time round. I don't recall how close they were last season vs now but they beat the likes of United and Chelsea in their run up to stay in the league. I anticipate that happening again where they will pick up some surprise results. It's us that is really in the shit. We are bang out of form, lots of unrest in the camp and a dinosaur manager that is too arrogant to switch things up, added to the fact he wants to be paid out. Yes we won last week but we are 3 points above them and have a diabolical run in. We could easily lose 5 from the next 7. They could easily win 4 out of the next 7, meaning we will be well adrift at the bottom."
