"Hammer and Pickle 3:48 Fri Feb 17 That's why he needs to go. He's dangerous. His attitude that he'd rather weaken the side to make a point will take us down. Add to that, some of the stuff coming out of the club on his treatment of some senior players and his ignorance of the youth players is fucking shocking."

"He'll play Soucek deep, will not play Downes, stick Fornals wide for Benrahma and probably replace Emerson with Cresswell for good measure. Why? Because he wants to show he can whatever anyone says. The absurd little man thinks he's Alex Ferguson when he's got the charisma of a used condom at a bus stop on a Sunday morning."

"Eerie I couldn't agree more with you and in a way it's sad to admit that our aspirations are set that low. Each and everyone of us have said since time and memorial that we have all the ingredients to be a massive Club, but for some reason the major investors, don't want to get involved."

"I have to admit he's becoming very unlikeable. He really isn't reading the room at all. Arrogance of not works if you're producing the goods. Otherwise it just sounds delusional and stupid. The thing I have started to realise with him is that he caught ""wengeritus""ù. The desease where failure does not cause embarrassment and one can sleep comfortably at night being really shit. It's brought on by having a period of success previously that one literally ""dines out on""ù forever as if they are always right because of that one period. Ffs I wish he would read the room and get back to some level of humility."

"That is the bit that is driving me mad about him most, North Bank. We do not expect to be finish 7th every year, but given the mammoth outlay the club have made, we do expect not to be one of the shittest teams in the league, both in points gained, and style of play. Let's be honest, even if we were 10th and giving the cups a go this season, we'd be satisfied regardless of the absolutely fucking appalling football that we play. We play the worst football in the league, AND we're one of the shittest team. There is not a single metric to measure where that is acceptable."

"Has he spoken his weekly drivel yet ahead of the Spurs game? I anticipate a ""We'll try to go there and win the match but as we know Spurs are a very strong outfit, so we'll be lucky to come away with anything"". In other words, he is expecting the obligatory loss."

"Arrogance Personified from Moyes ""We avoided relegation, we took them into Europe the next year, we get to the semi-final of a European competition, we finish seventh the second year. So the perspective has made me say yeah, you know, if you're gonna come to West Ham and expect to do six, seven years where you're competing at the top, I think you're probably kidding yourself on and I think anyone with any real football intelligence will probably go along with that ""ù"

"Spot on Russ. The fact he still picks Soucek ahead of Downes and until just before the WC, ahead of Paqueta who he had to push out of position, is just one example of a man that doesn't watch the game or want to understand how it's evolved. One system/philosophy that served him well for a long while at a cash strapped Everton. Worked briefly for us until teams/managers set up to negate it. No answers or ideas from Moyesiah. He's just becoming more entrenched almost out of spite but more simply because he knows no other way. Watch him put Soucek alongside Rice on Sunday and us struggle in central midfield. Soucek is a passenger. Fornals will be wasted wide left, Bowen will be anonymous wide right but stay on because he scored a few goals a month ago. Antonio starting upfront as lone striker / battering ram and Ings or Scamacca brought on to play same role which they are not suited to and left isolated. The man is, in footballing terms and possibly generally, a compete imbecile !"

"Completely agree with Russ. I thought maybe he was finally turning a corner with dropping Soucek and playing Pacqueta in right position, picking up a few points finally. However, this interview shows that he's done. Sorry Moyes but you've spent a fortune on badly researched players and now acting like we are Southampton/Palace level. Every recent interview is trying to play down expectations but it won't wash with us. The first 20 mins against Chelsea was ridiculous. They had the ball in our final third and still no players closing down despite there being 10 behind the ball. It was only when the fans starting telling the players to wake up, we started pressing and got 1 back from it. Tired of these ultra defensive displays and sticking on Ings expecting it will make the slightest bit of difference"

"Been saying it for years now, the bloke is mentally frail and that loss in the Europa was the straw that broke his tiny little mind. You're all fucking DELUDED if you think that our league position is unacceptable given the managers 200m spend this season. Fuckin dense you lot, you're all LACKING FOOTBALL INTELLIGENCE. Die in a fuckin fire Moyes."

"Moyes now disgusts me. His lack of competence in being a football manager / coach. Not going into details as its boring. We all know his constant mistakes, lack of adaptation, lack of in-game influence and continual lack of ability to get a decent squad playing well. But more-so his attitude. It fucking stinks. He was as spiky as a cactus through the summer. That was a warning sign that all was not well. During this season he's snapped at the media and called out the supporters. He's lost the plot. And it happened ages ago. The only reason he's still in charge is because we have owners that have no ambition. And they match Moyes own ambition which is just to be on the fringe. Moving under the radar without any fuss. Every time I listen to the bloke talk now I just want to punch him. I am fucking sick of his bullshit. Still talking about player integration and players 'settling in'. Him saying we 'played well' in a dour draw where we had about 30% of the ball. Him saying a point against Chelsea was 'a good result'. We got fucking tonked and should've been 4-0 down at half time. Every word that comes out of his mouth is an evasion and a distracting tactic. He talks so much bullshit that I even now think he actually doesn't believe himself. He's drunk with delusion. He's now even finding it difficult to defend any performance. Sick of Moyes. Sick of the owners. Club is run like a fucking amateur dramatics group and yet we still get 60k for a home game. Get this cսnt out. Get these owners out and let's get some proper people in to run the club like a 60k home attendance sized club. Owners that have ambition and will go and get a manager that has and will win trophies. Moyes is a fucking joke. He's so bad and toxic now its almost laughable."

The warning signs were there. He hadn't been anywhere near a competent manager since Everton. Yet Sullivan still took a punt.

"A few years ago when I didn't believe it, someone that had been a teacher in Cheshire, told me the rudest man she'd ever met was David Moyes. His kids went to her school a number of years before when he was Everton manager. Apparently he didn't like her comments about his kids at a parent teacher evening. As I said I didn't believe her as her husband is a Chelsea fan""¶now I do. I can believe he'd bully a teacher for"

"Listening to all these offers and interest in other clubs why don't we get a decent offer to buy us. In London, cheaper to buy than all the other clubs i'm hearing mentioned but not as much as a sniff I know this is a Moyes out thread but a new owner with some wedge would have him out on his arse straight away"

"I've heard he same rumour Steve. From 2 sources. One a data analyst at the club and the other a mate of Warbartons from his days in the city when he was a trader. Moyes unapproachable and deaf / closed to new ideas. Sticks with Nevin implementing the same tactics. It's only since we lost Dawson that he was forced to change to 3 at the back which has improved us a bit although probably relies on a fit Aguerd. When we were mostly winning games 14+ months back, no one will complain even if the football then was low possession. But when it stopped working, he did nothing to change things. Even when new players came in? No changes to formation and tactics. It's almost as though the new players were a nuisance but he would use them as a way to get the existing lads producing results again. He's been totally blind to the fact that the set up and tactics and strategy was failing. Also a fair number of his existing players were old and he had skipped a window to start replacing one or two of them. It's simple. He only knows one way. It's based on a 20 year old model of counter attack and giving up possession, remaining static and in shape with a lot of bodies behind the ball. That's it. Klopp and Guardiola, Frank, even Howe and Potter and new managers at Brighton, Wolves and other clubs are all playing the high press, high movement and possession football that has negated what his teams do. He cannot adapt so his career and time is at an end. Trouble was wth Sullivan's era of 11 years of failure, Moyes 2 European qualifications and talk of building a new West Ham were equivalent to the ""razzle dazzle""ù bullshit he had used on fans. Oh the irony !!!!"

"Everytime he opens his mouth he just comes out with absolute dross. He comes across as a really unlikeable cսnt to be honest and if that is his media persona fucks knows what he is like on a day to day basis. I have heard from a few people connected to that club that he is very approachable and for someone who has won fuck all in the game, has a rather big chip on his shoulder."
