Re: Moyes Out
"Sack the cսnt and his crew of fucking losers Bring Noble in as a figure head Promote Keen and Robson from the youth setup Give them everything they need Get the kids involved I think Noble would work, until end of season In summer get a top quality coach in"
Re: Moyes Out
"""""I said to the players before the game that if you don't concede you give yourself a better chance of winning a game."" That one sentence from Moyes shows what so many on here have been saying for ages. It shows how Moyes sets the team up. Unfortunately by setting the team up not to concede they have forgotten that you have to attack the whole game. I watched Man Utd live on telly before our game and they beat Leicester 3-0. They attacked the whole game and as players tired they brought on good reserves and youngsters to keep the momentum up. I'd almost forgotten what that kind of game was about because Leicester also attacked the whole game."

Re: Moyes Out
"Exactly Trunds. No professional team, in any division and playing against any opponent, should go through 90 minutes with just one shot on goal. It's abhorrent. Anti-football. I watched one of the worst top-flight sides I've ever seen in La Liga, Elche (bottom, by a mile), play Barcelona (top) last autumn. And they had more shots on goal than we did yesterday. We are fucking abysmal under Moyes. More anti-football even than Allardyce. Sure, the ball is on the floor. But it's generally in the possession of our opponents and, when we have it, it is slow and knocked along our backline until - hoof! - a hopeless ball down the channels for Antonio (now slowing down) to chase and lose. Then repeat for 90 minutes. Dire."

Re: Moyes Out
I watched/heard pretty much every other team around us give it a go in their games. And we had 1 shot on target in our game.

Re: Moyes Out
"His post match excuses are becoming more desperate and bizarre each game. Now saying we need Ings to score (no shit Sherlock) He hasn't started a game yet, has barely touched the ball in his 4 sub appearances because we don't attack teams or create chances. Also questioned whether the players are up for the fight saying most have been here before, who is he talking about exactly? Maybe Fab, Rice & Ogbonna, the rest have not."
Re: Moyes Out
"""I'm used to be near the top of the league with West Ham and so this is new territory that we need to get away from"" And he's allowed to get away with shit, nobody calling him out, nobody daring to tell him he's in a relegation scrap. The matter of fact way he said this, as if all our problems will be gone within a few weeks. How can the media and pundits, and more importantly the owners, not see through this fucking fraud now?"

Re: Moyes Out
"The sweaty's gotta go today. Sick to the back hampsteads of the useless, negative ponce. As most will agree, he shld ave gone ages ago. An insult to us loyal supporters. Wish the midget and lady muck would just fuck off as well. Needs a proper clear out."
Re: Moyes Out
"A few days ago Harry was putting himself forward for the Leeds job, I would take him over moyes again and again!"
Re: Moyes Out
Another strange thing is that in our position we need players who work hard and run. Fornals is perfect for that. He should be exactly what Moyes wants but he hasn't started a game for months.

Re: Moyes Out
"For me, that's the worse thing about Moyes: I can barely watch us play under him. It is agonisingly negative, uninspiring, unambitious and totally fucking boring. We are a shit team playing shit football under a shit manager. Yet they want to charge a gabillion pounds for us all to endure this agony. If we're going down, at least go down with some ambition, intent and attempt to win games."

Re: Moyes Out
"Sacking Moyes absolutely has to be done today, however it opens up more cans of worms in regards to the new manager appointed, how can the players get behind a new manager ( whoever it is, from one end of the scale Poch, to other end Will Still ) knowing that the people that were instrumental in appointing the new manager was the proven failures Sullivan and Brady."
Re: Moyes Out
"Negative Dave has done it again. From a supporter perspective (and its probably true of most clubs) that you want to see your team have a go to win a game, have some fight and if they lose trying and leave it all out there, then it was a case we got beat by the better team. Anti football, negative football is not acceptable - Negative Dave needs to go (should have gone before the world cup - thats on the owners)"

Re: Moyes Out
I'm genuinely starting to feel like this club is just a comedy act and the supporters are not treated with the respect they need. It's getting more depressing by the day. I can't wait for the season to be over.

"Good to hear a balanced caller on TS today who said, very clearly, that the team and performances have been in decline since December 2021. Some of these pundits who do fuck all for a living are still now only just realising we are shit."

Re: Moyes Out
"Latest from Moyes: ""I'm used to be near the top of the league with West Ham and so this is new territory that we need to get away from"" ""I thought in the first half (against Spurs) we looked good. It was a good performance overall and I can't fault the players"" ""I said to the players before the game that if you don't concede you give yourself a better chance of winning a game. We conceded sloppy goals and never took our chances. Normally you can nick something from a set play but we didn't have the quality on the day to do that."" Jesus fucking wept. And its that last comment that sums it all up. Don't concede and you give yourself a better chance to win. Sums Moyes up in one sentence for me. Negative, cowardly and uninspiring. Nine defensive players in a game we have to win. Yes, Soucek played more advanced that usual and, to his credit, played very well. But because we don't have alot of attacking impetus from out wide, there's not much for him to get on the end of. Therefore, he played mostly centre-mid as a holder sitting back, but with Rice and Downes. Emerson and Coufal have improved over recent weeks but they don't get forward enough and don't get round the back and don't put enough crosses in. You can dress it up as a 3-5-2 but ultimately its a 5-3-2. We needed creativity in the offensive hole and Benny should've come on at half time yet Moyes introduces him eventually on 68 minutes. Abd for fuck sake, why does Moyes have to have a 10 minute fucking debate before making a sub? Just go Moyes. Just fucking go. Now."

Re: Moyes Out
"the biggest takeaway from his most recent podcast with the millwall slag calvin was his continued separation between him & us when talking about his time at the club. shit like, they'd never achieved anything before I turned up, I've given them (not us, THEM) a unique experience. very narcissistic, arrogant and dismissive of history. no doubt he behaves the same way towards certain players"
Re: Moyes Out
"It all steams from last January, I'd go as far back as the summer before maybe. He took shit loads of credit for getting nigh on all the signings correct. Coufal, Soucek, Bowen, Dawson & Lingard. They all came in and contributed, well since signing Zouma I'd say every signing hasn't worked. Incredibly bad squad building for 18 months has caught up with him. Your only every gonna be as good as your signings you make and he has made howler after howler for a while now."
Re: Moyes Out
He should have strengthened in the Jan window last year we were desperate for a striker. It's been poor for 14 months.
Re: Moyes Out
Getting a very light ride and not put under any pressure from any journalists due to knowing them personally for over 25 years no doubt family friends etc Any other manager would be getting a hammering. All the best to you lot that pay to watch but Jesus must be a line when you don't want to waste your money any more .

Re: Moyes Out
"Relegation at that shit hole is a catastrophe, all this talk all season about credit in the bank and how he is our best manager since Lyall. When we go down he slots firmly beside Grant as one of our worse."
Re: Moyes Out
"Agreed Terry. We go down we have 5-6 years in the wilderness I reckon, absolutely no guarantee of coming straight back up. Coming to the bowl will be everyone's cup final plus we'll lose anyone of any value and we have an aging team that won't be up to it. A complete rebuild will take seasons."
