Re: Moyes Out
"Sullivan leaving it this late has really put us in a bad spot, we are basically left with three choices and none of them fill you with much confidence, if any. 1) Keep Moyes 2) Give it to someone like Nolan, Warburton. 3) Bring in a firefighter. To think back in Nov we were talking about Poch and Tuchel as potential suitors."
Re: Moyes Out
"SOH - with respect mate, when the fire is burning, you put the fucker out first before planning for it 'not to happen again'. So for me... a Brooking type spark, like back in the day, with this squad, might well work. Whether that be Noble and current backroom or another quick (granted not easy fix) alternate. Moyes is the problem."

Re: Moyes Out
"CHL, they got to the point where the team was played into the ground with very little rest at key times.....and then the cսnt didn't sign any fresh blood to rejuvenate what the team had just got going.....the coaching staff must have thought....'how the fuck do I get these to go AGAIN with the same tired players'......imo he lost the original players a longtime ago and they were still pissed off with him when he finally did get some new players in.....and we are where we are now UNMOTIVATED to really do the necessary due to his nervous Nerys tactics....."

Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes was able to hide behind the shoulders of Pearce and Irvine, no doubt about it. Plus Noble was a taskmaster in the dressing room. To make matters worse, it was Moyes getting all the plaudits back then, when anyone could see the day to day motivation, fitness and tactical nous was coming from his main sidekicks... I guess they got eventually got pisssed off with that, especially given that he made no attempt to redirect the praise when the backstabbers were lauding him up. Now, left to his own devices, his taciturn manner and seeming inability to motivate or develop his squad sees him sinking and dying like he has done in several previous roles. And this time he doesn't have any real talent behind him, just yes men who are taking the money and putting out the cones. The 'heat map' in the Sun report of just four areas (all deep defensive) contested by WHU in the Tottenham game is a truly shocking indictment of the mess he is presiding over..."

Re: Moyes Out
We do have a negative manager backed by an owner who under cuts the budget for a club that has a huge support and regularly gets close to filling a big stadium capacity that the main owner moved us to......what Moyes did was 'saved up' his budgets and stopped all MOMENTUM he was building dead......it was that window and it needs to be marked down as something to mention when considering appointing a new manager. Like it or not Moyes got something going on the pitch for once and we need to go over what went wrong to try and work out what needs to happen. Most of you's on here are happy to go over old ground with who manages us next when it should be what did Moyes get wrong to make the next manager the right one.....due to the fact he did get us going in the right direction.....

Re: Moyes Out
"Feckin HELL - just look at the stats of 'Previous two seasons, when Pearce and Irvine were here' compared to 'This season, when Moyes has headed it up himself with his yes men'..!!! We were 1st, 2nd or 3rd in every critical stat, yet this season we are at the absolute bottom or close to it in every one... His stats are almost identical to Grant's, same points etc, after 23 games... Plus stats for last 27 Aways at the big 6... not a single win, four draws, and 53 goals shipped... for clarity, that is FOUR POINTS from a total of 81 available. This charlatan should've been gone six games in, when it was already clear he was failing big time. What a mess... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/21445669/west-ham-relegation-sack-david-moyes/"

Re: Moyes Out
"Unless the board (who have never shown any kind of risk taking on managers) take a gamble on a Carrick or Kompany, nothing much will change, it will just be another ""Name"" that hasn't quite done it anywhere."
Re: Moyes Out
"TM called it - we have a deeply entrenched negative cսnt as manager, who cannot and will not change. 'Do the math' as the yanks say and the stats make it truly amazing, Moyes is still at the helm. On the back of a recent near ¬£200m spend. The again, Karen has a plan for the brand and is all about customer satisfaction. We just need to tell our faces that and ignore absolutely everything factual."

Re: Moyes Out
"The paranoia of some of our supporters is beyond pathetic. You'd think their is a massive media conspiracy that has long prevented our progress as a club. The only thing that has prevented our progress as a club is unambitious, tin pot, small minded owners like Sullivan and Brown before him. Sullivan sticking with the loser Moyes who lost the plot over a year ago sums it all up as we hurtled towards yet another self inflicted and utterly unavoidable relegation. The media were lapping up our achievements last season and admiring how far we had progressed and our run to the Europa League semi finals. I don't see the media shitting on Brighton, Brentford or Fulham for having the audacity to reach the top half of the Premier League table and challenge for Europe this season, so get a bloody grip!"

Re: Moyes Out
"I've noticed that Sky Sports seem to be upping their game with regards to the criticism aimed at Moyes and the terrible form West Ham are going through. However, there are some media platforms (TalkShite being one of them) who seem to be plugging Moyes saying is is the right man to get WH out of trouble. I suspect that the reason a lot of these media outlets are plugging Moyes is due to the fact they don't want us to progress, as they know he has been found out by everyone. Therefore, little old West Ham will not get back to the heights of 6/7 position finishes thus no longer challenging and out of Europe."

"Rusta 11:14 Also the delivery has been appalling from everyone who has taken them 99% of the time and of our main threats, Dawson is gone, Zouma and Scamacca have been injured most of the time, Soucek is in and out of the team and Rice is fucking taking them."

Re: Moyes Out
"It is an obsession though isn't it. You thick cunts fail to remember that it's not a forward thinking manager that you're talking about, and he cleverly never has faded about momentum. It takes him months to 'bed in' new signings, so what guarantees do we have that anything would have been different in january? as I said, we're watching it again now with ings. hasn't got a fucking clue how to use him, and is totally unwilling to change the way we play to make it work"
Re: Moyes Out
"I know it may seem a bit pointless now going over old ground, but not bringing the striker in that window was the start of our demise. Potentially cost us a trophy and a CL spot, and our league form suffered. That was the time to fuck him off and thank him for this efforts."
Re: Moyes Out
"Not getting a 2nd striker in Jan 22 was the first sign that Moyes was an incompetent idiot that wasn't going to last. However, I agree with Manuel too. No point going on about it. Moyes has made so many errors since. It's just a shame that the board don't recognise it in Moyes because it mirrors their own incompetence..."

Re: Moyes Out
"I have to agree with manuel. this obsession with last january is pointless when you consider the way he treated players in his squad that he refused to use, despite being woefully shorthanded. players like kral, vlasic and the young CBs that he could have used but refused. another couple of bodies added would have just gone straight to the bench. the cսnt is doing exactly that with ings, despite antonio not being able to score in a brothel"

"I'd be 100% on board with Di Canio. In fact, I think that has gone to first choice in my list. We are the dullest team on the planet, currently. Imagine going over the bowl with him in charge?"
