Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"""Daniel Kretinsky seems unlikely to complete full West Ham takeover in the future Daniel Kretinsky's current stance on West Ham suggests that he probably has no plans of fully taking control of the club after purchasing a minority stake. When the Czech billionaire bought a minority stake in the club, it seemed like the eventual plans were to perhaps assume full control in the future. In early February, there was some fuel added to the fire when reports circulated that he secretly met LLDC CEO Lyn Garner over potentially taking over the London Stadium. However, according to club insiders contacted by Six Foot Two [13 February], that has been rubbished and he wasn't even at the game against Chelsea despite reports in the media. It's also been revealed that he has never met Garner and there seem to be no plans to do so on the horizon so a stadium takeover can be ruled out right away. However, what's more, worrying for West Ham fans keen on new ownership is that Kretinsky appears to be at arm's length whenever it comes to any discussions with the club. Rather than being someone who's part of the long-term decision-making process, the Czech tends to keep his distance and is showing no inclination towards taking charge. West Ham He treats the club as one of the 50 companies he's invested in and nothing more which clearly means that he's just in it for the profits and not because he has any grand plans for the club. For the current Hammers ownership to change, those looking at Kretinsky to be the messiah will be disappointed and it's going to have to come from someone on the outside.""ù"
Re: Moyes Out
"Your significant facts aren't actually facts though are they? Sullivan HAS agreed to sell, it's a legal agreement. He has no option to refuse. The price is set, so other PL clubs have no impact on the sale. The only way DK doesn't buy the club is if he changes his mind. There's zero evidence of that. Those are significant facts. You're either being argumentative or have no understanding of the situation."
Re: Moyes Out
goose I gave three significant reasons for me saying treating it as a forgone conclusion is wishful thinking as you're so desperate to prove me wrong. One is that Sullivan decides to sell. Two is that Kretinsky decides to buy at the agreed price and PL clubs prices have taken a hike. Third is that Kretinsky or Sullivan (whoever is in charge) decides Moyes needs firing. If Moyes wins Conference and gets us clear of relegation even that isn't a forgone conclusion. I'm saying nothing more about it now as you and a few others will just keep up your childish dispute when we all really know that it isn't a foregone conclusion Moyes will go. It's a hope based not on fact but wishful thinking. Hope that helps and I'd like to it's been fun but it's entirely boring now.
Re: Moyes Out
"Exactly goose. Willtell, stop trying to change the argument, you said it was nothing more than wishful thinking. I said there was plenty of evidence to suggest it would happen and so is more than wishful thinking. There is ground for room before you get to full gone conclusion which is what you don't understand. Going against the ""flock leader""ù doesn't make you edgy or even right and it certainly doesn't offend. In fact I kind of pity you for being so narrow minded that you won't listen to other peoples views and when losing an argument, make up what the argument is about. As you say though, that was your final say so you won't reply. Hope you have a good evening."
Re: Moyes Out
DK has a legally binding agreement to buy the club at a set price up to a set date. It's not wishful reasoning thinking that he'll exercise that agreement. It's a justified assumption given the above facts.
Re: Moyes Out
"LJC If you believe that ""it is not a full gone conclusion""ù why are you arguing with me? We both hope it will happen but treating it as a fact is wishful thinking. That's what I have consistently said. My usual gang of opponents started the abuse because they have fixed in their minds that it's a foregone conclusion and you joined in. My final word on this is that the majority aren't automatically right. It's what sheep do. Follow the flock leader - I invariably don't. Sorry that offends"
Re: Moyes Out
"See what I mean? You are completely making stuff up now. The argument was simply you saying it's wishful thinking, where I have simply pointed out it's a substantial, evidence based opinion. I have also said it is not a full gone conclusion. You throwing insults around just makes you sound a foolish and indicates you have lost the argument right there. Here's a little tip. When you are in a minority of one against a majority, maybe step back and have a look at what your point is you are arguing."
Re: Moyes Out
LJC Ahh that's because I'm not wrong am I? It's you and other mugs that can't accept my opinion that it's too soon to insist that Sullivan and Moyes will go this summer. I hope they do but you childishly insisting it's a foregone conclusion doesn't make you right.

Re: Moyes Out
Let's be clear. I hope we don't have to endure Moyes next season same as you all. A few posters were posting as if it is a foregone conclusion that Moyes won't be here. As I say I hope he won't be but that is wishful thinking from me you and everyone else. You were all convinced he'd be fired in the WC break and I agree he should have been fired. I'd love Sullivan to be gone too but it's also wishful thinking. All I'm saying is that until there's an announcement - don't count on it. If you can't handle that opinion then stop bothering me with your childish waffle.
Re: Moyes Out
"Kretinsky is mainly a 20-40% man. I don't think he's going 'all in'. He clearly thinks his investment will make money but as stated it fucking won't if we drop. Meanwhile, we continue to mostly watch gashball. Moyes Out."

"Willtell 10:35 Tue Feb 28 Miike quotes ""òHard of thinking' you then say there are people ""òwishful THINKING' who are hard of thinking""¶.it doesn't makes sense you utterly stupid cսnt""¶."
Re: Moyes Out
"There is a variable that is generally unconsidered on here What if Kretinsky sees his holding as an investment? We assumed that he wanted to buy and run the club, what if, as a hugely successful businessman with football connections, he was ahead of the curve in PL club valuations? With the general economy and the liability of the stadium deal it's not beyond possibility that he either holds his position or buys, has a stadium deal lined up, then flips it on to American or Arab buyers? Whatever I don't see Moyes starting the new season under any circumstances - he undermines the whole endeavour"
Re: Moyes Out
"Willtell 6:58 Tue Feb 28 Re: Moyes Out Expecting Sullivan will sell and Kretinsky will buy then sack Moyes is just wishful thinking""¶ You mean aside from the legally binding agreement DK has to buy the club?"
Re: Moyes Out
"You are totally right. Sullivan would never say one thing and do another. I'm also pretty certain that a successful billionaire business man might understand the cost of relegation""¶.Why would us scraping by and staying up means we have done better than recently? We are currently out of the relegation zone and why would it mean we've won a European competition and finally, add to that, why on earth would a new owner look at the past season/18 months and risk his new investment, let alone a chairman who is known to be trigger happy?"
Re: Moyes Out
LJC Well I hope it does happen too but it's wishful thinking for three things to happen. 1. Sullivan to sell when he's denied it and wants his sons to take over. 2. Kretinsky needs to spend several millions to buy WHU which could be wasted if relegation happens 3. If 1. & 2. happen surely it means we've done better on the run in and Kretinsky may well decide to stick with Moyes. Especially if we win Conference and win more games in the run in. For me that's too many hopefuls before I hang my hat on the peg that says Moyes will go in the summer.

Re: Moyes Out
"Manuel, Miike, Percy, boleyn - Spot on, I was watching him last night when were approaching the last 20 minutes of the game and he just stood there like a statue. Fuck knows what instructions Nolan is giving but he was talking to Scamacca for about 5 minutes, which is a lot of time lost when you want to change the direction of the game."
Re: Moyes Out
"Willtell 6:58 Tue Feb 28 Re: Moyes Out For me ""the hard of thinking cunts""ù are those that believe their own wishful thinking! Expecting Sullivan will sell and Kretinsky will buy then sack Moyes is just wishful thinking""¶ How on earth is that wishful thinking?? That is exactly what is expected with every evidence pointing in that direction. A couple of examples being the embarrassment clause ending this month, Sullivan's long term business partner passing, his interest in Birmingham and Cardiff, an preagreement on price of sale, kretinsky not having the best of records of sticking by managers, the so called interest from other foreign investors, the appointment of the Jp morgan executive to the board by kretinsky and who specialises in mergers and takeovers, the sudden investment in the squad in the summer, how poorly Moyes has done this season""¶ I'm not saying it's going to happen but I would say evidence points more to it happening than just wishful thinking""¶"

Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes record against the entitled top 4 is now 71 and no wins. Big deal we beat a shite Forest 4-0 but when push comes to shove Moyes has no fucking idea. Ten Hag or whatever his name is made 5 subs that changed the shape and impetus of his team, not just in forward positions either. Moyes, same old, same old like for like, no changes until at least 75 minutes. Antonio should have been hooked at half time, Fornals for Bowen was 20 minutes too late and as soon as Casemeiro cam on so should Downes for us and taken Soucek off. But No rabbit in the headlights Moyes, no clue."

Re: Moyes Out
Manuel. Yep 100% correct I've always thought as diligent as Moyes apparently is he's a dinosaur within the modern game. Moyes Dyche Benitez are all yesterday's men and the only way this club will progress and move into the 21st century is to get a young intelligent manager with a modern tactical brain.

"manuel, I'm not sure if it would have worked but I'd have brought on downes to stalk/shadow/bully casemiro for the last half an hour. he was the difference between the teams in that second half and the more I see of him, the more I realise why madrid won so many champions league titles. he's class and so much more than a holding player"

Re: Moyes Out
"He simply isn't at the required level today to be able to read what is going on out there, doesn't have the intelligence required to change/adjust at any given time to how the match is unfolding and how to make the right changes. In some ways it's not his fault, the game has moved on so much now that he's been left behind and he's too old and stuck in his ways, and lacks the intelligence, to adjust. Despite everything else this is one of the biggest reasons why he has to go."
