Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
The only manager in the world who doesn't care about scoring. The fact that he spents 90% of time in trainings preparing defence (and we 're still shite defensively) says it all. Clueless and arrogant.

Re: Moyes Out
"Rice ""They have a unique way of playing and we didn't work it out"" I thought that comment as much as any summed up West Ham under Moyes. Yes, the team know Brighton's style and approach, but there was as usual, no Moyes plan at the start and no plan to change things, when it's going horribly wrong on the pitch."

Re: Moyes Out
The fact that for the past few weeks just keeps dragging up our euro adventures for past 2 years as some kind of badge of honour or to defend his position is fucking doing my head in. U hear nobody else talk like this. The bloke is as delusional as he is fucking useless

"To be honest our delusional manager had already alerted everyone to the fact the Brighton ""were a bit of a bogey side to us"" Therefore, in his addled brain it was ""well what did you expect, It's Brighton, I had already told you they are our bogey side, I can't work miracles"" It could have been 7 or 8 and the cսnt still thinks he is doing a good job. It is getting ridiculous now."

Re: Moyes Out
"Swindon is right. We were the tenth highest spenders in world football last summer and retained every player we wanted to retain. Sullivan has his faults but no owners have crated anywhere the spend on players that he has since I've been watching West Ham. His problem is a lack of a coherent vision, terrible managerial appointments and the horrendously managed move to the new ground. Not spending."

Re: Moyes Out
"Enough of this ""Asset stripping""ù bollocks. Sullivan is poor at making good judgements and decisions but as far as providing funds for players and wages we can't complain. The amount of money wasted over the years on transfers and wages is astronomical. We spent a lot of money last summer and then another 12 million plus huge wages on Ings in January without recouping much back on sales. Relegation benefits absolutely no one including the owners."

"If the winnings were put towards next seasons ST Is that not a way of cushioning the blow of the club getting itself relegated? I mean in our case we're not betting against the club but looking to keep the attendance up for next season""¶.in a huge stadium."

Re: Moyes Out
"Will - not sacking moyes isn't the same as backing him, to be fair. If you understand the parameters that sullivan sets when selecting managers there really isn't a great deal of options out there. And based on his parameters (which j don't agree with) he's arguably not wrong. However, that ignores the atmosphere at the club and in the dressing room. If Sullivan ventures out of his ghastly mansion and spends some time around there, moyes will be gone in minutes. It really is anyone but him now."

Re: Moyes Out
"Yes, the ""knicker wetter"" brigade and strangley very quiet. As are those that laughed at me on here months ago when I said ridiculous odds of 5-1 for West Ham to go down was easy money to be made. I would have lumped on but a) I don't need the money and b) wouldn't place money on my team to be relegated."
Re: Moyes Out
It's sad really that DS thinks he's doing the right thing by backing a failing manager just because he himself was stupid enough to take an easy and cheap option bring Moyes back a 2nd time. Clearly he saw Moyes faults but just needed rescuing from his attempt at employing another high profile manager on the way down -Pellegrini. DS goes to every game so he's seeing exactly what we see. He must hate the thought of relegation and knows that it comes down to his inability to select managers on the way up instead of those on the way down.

Re: Moyes Out
"Everyone going on about conceding 4 to Brighton as a terrible indictment of where we are as a club being badly run, the sad truth is Brighton should have scored 3 or 4 more just in that second half. Not much noise coming from the knicker wetting accusers now. ( cups ear )."

Re: Moyes Out
"it's difficult to score goals when you have eight men + the goalkeeper sitting back for the majority of the game. also difficult to score when you allow the other team to have the ball for 75% of the game, but let's keep referring back to what was happening over twelve months ago. credit in the bank"
Re: Moyes Out
Those are the facts Comma but the key is the unambitious way Moyes sets up tactically. I also see us invariably clear the ball to the opposition and make hurried passes just to pass responsibility. All those that thought Johnson needed a new senior contract before his contract runs out at the end of season saw why it really isn't that much of a rush...

Re: Moyes Out
Over the 76 games of the previous two seasons we scored at an average of 1.6 goals per game and conceded at a rate of 1.25 per game. This season we are so far scoring 0.9 goals per game and conceding 1.3. It's illustrates exactly where our problems lie this season.

Re: Moyes Out
If he had accepted relegation he wouldn't have signed Ings and agreed to pay him 125k a week for 3 years. He isn't a bond villain. He's just not very good at his job
