"pdcwhu 4:16 Sun Mar 5 Yep, we've been massively patient considering that, now what the problem is, is that little old easy 3 points West Ham with it big support has real proven potential""¶..potential that needs to be tapped into sharpish otherwise it's the doldrums for us and one less thing for the privileged clubs to bother about."

Re: Moyes Out
"the only expectation is wanting a manager that tries to win games, that's it. It's not an impossible job, and has fuck all to do with trophies. winning something would be a by product of a positive manager that gets us playing decent football. unfortunately, we have an owner that only seems to be attracted to the worst type of anti football cսnt"
Re: Moyes Out
The supporters of other clubs maybe have their sights set more realistically. Forest snd Bournemouth as newly promote club may expect to be where they are. All other clubs have acted and replaced managers and haven't spent anything like what we did so their fans can say fuck all on they front. They also don't have brainless spiv cunts running what could be a hugely successful club into the ground and backing a losing manager in the process.

Re: Moyes Out
I was looking at twitter . A few hours ago and noticed a post by some imbecile saying the west ham fans are to blame as the club has never won anything and the fans put too much pressure on the club with their expectations. Anyway I looked at his previous posts and the cսnt support's CRYSTAL FUCKING PALACE. A club that has genuinely won fuck all unlike WHUFC. It's supporters of far smaller clubs like them who are defending Moyes . I don't know one west ham supporter who still wants him here .

Re: Moyes Out
"pdc, you gauge us like we are still at UP, we fill a big stadium only the likes of the current top four can match. Who do you think we are aspiring to be? Forest etc or one of those top clubs? The owners set this standard not us yet those top clubs supporters would never put up with it like you do and you expect the rest of us to follow your lowly standards. That will not fill that stadium for the future nor should the likes of you expect it."
Re: Moyes Out
Definitely want moyes gone but this should have been done around when villa chopped gerrard. Its to late now I think as the dross that would come now would just stink up the place dor another 18 months. If we can muddle through and survive the get rid in the summer we'll be a more attractive proposition. As everyone has said its been handled appallingly. Sack him and replace with who? Personally I would and give it to Keen until the season ends. I see why they will keep him now though.

Re: Moyes Out
"""We let ourselves down,""ù he said. ""That's one of the worst results and worst performances since I've been here. I totally understand the fans' reaction. They have been watching a team that has been doing really well over the last few seasons so it's hard for them to watch that.""ù It's been hard to watch for a long, long time Dave. Except for pdcwhu, who I get the impression sits by his window most of the day counting the cars that go by."

Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes should definitely go, but it might all be academic if the general forum view that all the players are shit anyway is true"
Re: Moyes Out
"I think the supporters of all nine clubs from Palace to bottom of table think they're going down,it's very tight"
Re: Moyes Out
Yes and they are enjoying there first season back in the top division after years away and are above us with a game in hand. I'd imagine most are feeling pretty good. How did your call for us to get behind the manager and owners go? You need to lay of the booze.
Re: Moyes Out
"Absolute shocker of result yesterday and l concede its time Moyes goes.Still don't think we will go down though as we seem to able to beat the shit teams around us,very tight from Palace down in table."

Re: Moyes Out
"Sir Alf, I think it is dawning on the Board that time is running out. This is happening excruciatingly slowly for us long-suffering fans but for them it's just a nuisance they've been hoping will just go away. Now they have to come to terms with it being here to stay unless they act. Fact is, on-pitch performance must effect TV rights, attendance and merchandising revenues simply because exposure to the public eye is the nature of the beast. Yesterday, for the first time, the TV studio was openly critical, emphasising that these players had ""stopped trying"" and ""were capable of so much more"". Bottom line is, you can't run a big-media orientated entertainment concern and stink out the place week-in, week-out; I believe it's got to the point were they know they have to act."
Re: Moyes Out
"Sir Alf - Totally agree with that. I've certainly noticed that few teams play an extremely high line against us, or they didn't when we perceived still a threat, most don't really bother either way now! I hadn't got an issue with Moyes keeping going with a counter attacking game. It still has it's place as long as you get the right players in. Klopp's favoured high press game has faltered because he is making the same mistakes with an ageing team in some areas creating problems. Problem is Moyes wasted millions bringing in players that don't suit either a counter attacking system or a possession based play out of the back high press system. Of all the players he brought in you could argue that only Paqueta and Aguerd can actually pass a football properly, albeit on rare occasions. He had a squad that was doing ok then brought in Lingard and got lucky because it worked. By lucky I mean he couldn't have anticipated the effect Lingard would have. They all played their part, the problem was he obsessed over getting Lingard back without assessing other players who could do the same job. Finding another striker similar to Antonio but who was actually a striker. Concentrating on the full back positions to find pace and work rate. In a nutshell he could have improved that counter attacking set up., However he went out and brought in Scamacca who is closer to Haller than he is to Antonio and Paqueta who is nowhere near the Lingard role. Basically he went out and brought in a load of players who don't actually fit into either system and here we are!"

Re: Moyes Out
"Sir Alf, I have supported West Ham since 1984 and I have experienced 4 relegations (1989, 1992, 2003 & 2011) so I'm guessing you experienced all of those plus the 1978 one."
Re: Moyes Out
"Villa will beat us. Their change in manager and huge upturn is what owners with intelligence do. Several of us negative posters on here have been predicting relegation including me since the WC. There is little to suggest we will not be relegated ? No teams are any worse than us. Oh well, the forth relegation in my life time. My grandad cursed us all by growing up in Plaistow from 1908. It's been 60 odd seasons of which 50 have been largely relegation scraps or mediocrity. We used to play decent football at times and now that's gone too. We are the worst footballing team in the division and half of the championship too"

Re: Moyes Out
"Eeyore Descent, So what points have I just made that contradicts what I said back in October exactly? I have always been up front in saying due to the success we had for 18 months that Moyes deserved up until the World Cup break to bed in all the new players and improve us. After the Leicester game back in November I said he's now had that time and hasn't improved us and he now deserves to go. I have always been consistent in that."
Re: Moyes Out
Not sure what was worse. Rice's comments after the game or the fact that Caciedo absolutely destroyed him for 90 mins. His valuation is dropping 5mil every game. The pundits negative press won't help either. Golden boy is no longer shiny
Re: Moyes Out
"The coaching and tactics are all wrong since teams worked out our counter attack approach and also our strength at set pieces. Players like Antonio and Cresswell, Ogbonna and Fabianski are old now too and lost half a yard. Moyes rebuild of the team started far too late and he has more or less wasted 200 million on players this last summer. Because he knows no other way to play the game and has not noticed the huge change in the way the game has changed in the last 5-10 years ( Klopp gegenpress , Pep tiki taka possession game and speed and fitness levels at the highest level ) Moyes has been left behind, bought players for a flawed system and tactics. We need to play differently but we don't have the type of players to do it that well either. Pace cannot be coached and basic technique has to be present to improve on. Some of our players (Antonio, Soucek, Coufal, Johnson ) lack basic technique. 8 of our 10 outfield players have no pace or average pace. Brighton are well drilled and have young players coming thru every year now that are better technicians than most of our so called established players. They are seeing the fruits of a 10 year strategy. They exposed our lack of pace and technique cruelly. They were able to take the piss as we looked like a little kid being ""piggy in the middle""ù in a game with his parents. Yes we have motivation and confidence issues too but I saw us trying to keep the ball via passing late in the game but Brighton just pressed us and easily got it back via our shocking passing, lack of movement and pace. We are miles behind them and deservedly at the bottom of the league. We need a new manager asap"
