Re: Moyes Out
For a signed agreement to adhered to it would require both party's to be trustworthy .

Re: Moyes Out
"This feels like speculation rather than anything else. Kretinsky would be living up to the Kretin but of his name if he just went ahead buying the club at a premier league price when there's a very real reason it won't be a premier league club 10 weeks later unless he's legally bound to with absolutely no get out. That is the only way this all makes sense other than the view that Sullivan has made a massive fuck up of things this season and left it too late to change it, which seems far more likely. Now there's a dithering Dave for you."

"We have a few semi ITKs on here but they tend to play a very cagey game. No full-on ITK on here of course though I think Sam Allardyce sometimes posts (abuse) under his own name, which is absolutely hilarious."

Re: Moyes Out
A letter of intent is meaningless as well Until there is a formal contract then nothing is legally binding

"to be fair, there's also a big difference between him choosing to go ahead with buying at the agreed price I could agree a price with sullivan today - wouldn't have any ability or intention to buy it though"

Re: Moyes Out
"RBshorty 3:27 So you're saying that not only is Kretinsky compelled to buy imminently at a set price regardless of the impending status of the club , he also has someone waiting and committed to pay him back, in full just as imminently regardless of the status of the club? That seems like a real stretch."
Re: Moyes Out
"I think of Kretinsky was going to be the saviour, he'd essentially be it already. If he was going to buy the remaining shares, or oust Sullivan and it was based on the agreed price, they'd all already know and to all intents and purposes he'd already be defacto chairman making the decisions. Which means he backs keeping Moyes. Versus, if he isn't going to do those things, then Sullivan is still in charge and he backs keeping Moyes. Liklihood is Kretinsky negotiates for the whole asset for less if we get relegated (and the real value to West Ham is clearly the access to the real estate in and around the club and the scope to neogitate to be owner of that). There is actually more for Sullivan to lose by us being relegated than Kretinsky."
Re: Moyes Out
"One thing we can be sure of is that the atmosphere on Sunday is going to be pretty toxic. Not as bad as the Burnley game, but certainly bad enough to affect the players, whose morale will already be quite fragile, whether or not we do well in Larnaca. I can't see anything but an ignominious loss against Villa. And this is another big reason why Sullivan should pull the trigger now rather than go through all this mullarkey on Sunday."
Re: Moyes Out
Scorch. Ain't going too happen. Kretinsky going to sell us on asap. Maybe he already has interested parties lined up. Don't take ownership in Sparta Prague as evidence as wanting to build a long term success business. A lot of their fans see it and recognise it as a PR exercise.

Re: Moyes Out
"""Going down does give Sullivan and his sons options he currently doesn't have"" depends on the options he currently has. There's a fairly major assumption across multiple threads that Kretinsky is the only game in town. He almost certainly would be, and not at the current price, if we went down."

Re: Moyes Out
Willtell 3:10 There is no way on earth it's financially better to take us down and rebuild before selling vs just making sure we don't go down in the first place. The cost of the former will more than offset any conceivable benefit that might come of it.

"RBshorty 2:59 He will unless the date is set in stone as well or there is an expiry on the offer. Kretinsky will just say ""òno thanks, I'll wait until you've got us back into the premier league'."

Re: Moyes Out
"Takashi Miike 2:53 Mon Mar 6 Re: Moyes Out what a thoroughly unpleasant post. I suppose it depends on your definition of ITK. The likes of Ex and Whetstone, and various others, are not - in my opinion - ITKs. They are mouthpieces. They repeat what they are told by people who wish to control the narrative. To a large extent, then, they know precisely fuck all. The genuine ITKs are few and far between, and they sure as shit don't post on Twitter and YouTube - because it would be fucking idiotic to do so."
Re: Moyes Out
"I'm not an ITK but think about why Sullivan is still sticking with Moyes. He's probably sure Moyes can avoid relegation and I don't think he would want relegation but what else makes sense as to why he's risking keeping Moyes? Going down does give Sullivan and his sons options he currently doesn't have. He sells all the key players and collects the balloon payments while building a new team and knows he's enough money to get back to PL in a year or two""¶"
Re: Moyes Out
"I accept he is here till the end, have done since he didn't go during the WC. But I'd be very very surprised if he is here next season regardless what league we're in. I suspect he probably knows that, it's an absolute shit show from Sullivan & co."
Re: Moyes Out
"Like Moyes or not (majority now don't), we have 3 home league games in a row which will pretty much determine our survival fate in my opinion and decide Moyes fate too. He's obviously staying in charge for Villa, win and he gets more time, lose and that will be him gone"
Re: Moyes Out
Sullivan won't lose a penny if the price has already been agreed. Sure the club could be a roaring success if run properly. However that take a long term view. A time scale most of the parties involved ain't concerned with. Nor willing too commit too.

Re: Moyes Out
"Exactly. The only possible scenario is that Sullivan has an unbreakable deal to sell at X value on Y date regardless of the club's status and he's not investing a penny more (which then he wouldn't have sanctioned Ings) or it's out of pure spite. But again why would he sanction Ings rather than keep the money as well? Its poor/incompetent leadership plain and simple, and failure to act on the manager situation when given ample opportunities ad warning that this could happen if he did nothing."

Re: Moyes Out
"""in fairness, ITKs don't go on YouTube or Twitter, because they wouldn't be ITK anymore and would have their sources cut off."" not sure what the fuck your talking about. are you saying the prick EX (who's on twitter) and Whetstone (who's rung in a few times and answered questions on Claret & Booze) are not two Sullivan's favoured in the knows? I can't stand the pair of them, but don't talk bollocks"

Re: Moyes Out
"Relegation is NOT going to benefit ANYONE. All these conspiracy theories about Sullivan wanting us to go down so he can buy the Gold family shares at a cheaper price or that he wants us to go down so he can asset strip the club makes absolutely no sense. IF we go down, Sullivan will be hit financially as much as anyone. Premier League TV money will be massively reduced, the value of the club will reduce, he will find it hard to shift some of the players we have on massive wages out and attendances will go down. Sullivan is shit at running a football club but he's not going to sabotage his own business by wanting us to get relegated. The more successful the club is the bigger value it has when he comes to sell it."

"Surprisingly, on the current form tables (last six matches) we are equal 10th with Fulham, with both Chelsea and Newcastle behind us!"
