Re: Moyes Out
"El - Yea, rooted in the bottom three with a 3 week break, crowd turning etc, would surely be the time to go. He surely can't survive that. If we lose today I bet the prick rolls out the journey to Cyprus as a reason why."

Re: Moyes Out
"Yup. He has to go if we lose today. No question. Forget Sullivan's stupid little criteria, even NO manager wouldn't be any worse. Even Nolan until the end of the season wouldn't be any worse. Even Mark Noble wouldn't be any worse, let alone some of the people we could get in short term. A win keeps him hanging around but I'll take a win by any means at this point even if it means that. A draw is probably the worst result. Does pretty much fuck all for our position in the table and probably keeps him employed."

Re: Moyes Out
"I expect another cautious approach, with very little cohesion and surrendering the ball which will lead to inevitable chances/goals. the idea of playing as a complete unit is foreign to this cսnt"
Re: Moyes Out
"Kept the shape. Counter attacking in other words. What was so demoralising last weekend was the sight of our lads being passed around and a yard behind the ball like a game of ""piggy in the middle""ù. We literally can't get near teams with good crisp passing at speed and struggle to get thru their high press. Root cause is tactics, style of play that we call Moyesball. A relic of a bygone age just like the manager. Villa will sit deep in numbers and pick us off especially if we play the likes of Soucek and have the level of passing we have been seeing for almost all Moyes reign. We were effective with a younger Antonio and Cresswell and when we were initially an unknown quantity and got more than half our goals from set pieces. We are the least well equipped to survive in a league where now the football is fast and based on passing and movement But there a no one better available to get us out of this mess. 0-1 nailed on I'm fearing :-("
Re: Moyes Out
"Agreed Manuel Also Moyes didn't think to recruit pace or athleticism ( aside from Cornet and to a degree Aguerd). The reason maybe because he never has seen that as a priority since all his better teams at Everton were hard working ""spoilers""ù who sat deep, static and ke"

Re: Moyes Out
"I think if we lose today it's curtains, as very likely once we play again we will be rooted in the bottom 3, which means you need to win two straight games and this lot don't appear to have it in them to do that."
Re: Moyes Out
"We look likely to go down based on remaining fixtures and the fact we are sticking with the same manager and methods that have been failing for 12 -14 months in the league. Will hope to eat humble pie but see very few signs that we are equipped to survive as there are no teams cut adrift and all of them are picking up wins. Leicester are also looking highly vulnerable. Leeds, Everton, Southampton and Bournemouth showing some fight. We need 4-5 wins and a few draws from 13 matches. I cannot see where they are coming from?"
Re: Moyes Out
"I really hope we win today but I fear another embarrassing defeat. I can take defeat (I have had plenty of practice supporting WH over the years) as long as we look like we are trying our best. There have been too many games for more than a year where the players look completely demotivated. I enjoyed seeing Martin Keown taken to task by a fan called Simon on Talkshite. Tell me please? Does anyone else remember the chant ""Keown - he's got a monkey face."" I have absolutely no doubts that Keown remembers very well because it wasn't an isolated incident. We did it every time he played so why is anyone surprised he will criticise WH fans loyalty to their manager?"

Re: Moyes Out
Too many people are taking that two bob dwarfs words as gospel . He only holds 38% of the shares now . Surely kretinsky and tripp smith want him out . The unknown is gold's daughters husband . If the scenes are anything like Burnley they will sack him . At the end of the day white along with southon and whetstone are just useful idiots who have been used by GSB . They know absolutely fuck all about what's going on behind the scenes .

Re: Moyes Out
Sullivan would prefer to save 7 million now and lose 50 million in the summer when this dithering idiot takes us down

Re: Moyes Out
Sullivan is a fucking cretin. Probably thinks he is the most honourable chairman in football because he won't sack Moyes when any other chairman would have sacked him months ago or at the very latest after the Brighton shambles. Will be congratulating himself for saving a few million even if we go down and lose 50m every season we stay down. Will no doubt keep Moyes as he will see him as the perfect manager to get us back up.

Re: Moyes Out
"Sullivan has already said that Moyes won't be sacked He hasn't directly come out and said it but his talksport mouthpiece Jim White has said it, shit spewing claret and hugh and run articles about it and the mainstream media still don't seem to look at the table correctly and seem to think that us being down there is just a blip, Even another 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Villa tommorow won't change anything as Moyes will get a result against the mighty Larnaca and then have a nice 2 week break to do fuck all again."

Back into the bottom 3 we go. Anything but a win tomorrow and he has to go but I reckon he's here for the season even if we go down.

Re: Moyes Out
"Would a bad result tomorrow see him sacked? Three weeks till the next league game so time for a new manager to come in and start working with the players. Would still be eleven games to go so plenty of points up for grabs starting with a huge six pointer against Southampton. Sadly I think our chairman will continue to bury his head in the sand whatever happens. Those in the media who continue to support Moyes regardless are now peddling the line, ""It's probably too late for a change of manager to make any difference at this point."" We've got Liverpool at home before the end of the season. No way we approach it in the same way Bournemouth did today if that coward is still in charge."
Re: Moyes Out
"Well done Bournemouth, beat Liverpool after nearly beating Arsenal last weekend. But the lazy sod sullivan says there are no contenders to moyes out there, well heres hoping his favorite scot actually stops cowering in our own half and takes a fit side out to win tomorrow. Sadly I wouldn't bet on it!"

Re: Moyes Out
I don't think anyone on here is saying we are Texas . We ain't . but there's no doubt the club has shot themselves in the foot massively by keeping that coward that calls himself a football manager in charge.
