Re: Moyes Out
"Can't believe what I witnessed today. Soucek playing the advanced no:10 role for the entire game. Ings barely touched the ball. We need a goal so Moyes sits on his hands whilst Emery is making Subs that effect the game. Then Moyes eventually brings on Formals, you'd think for Soucek but no it's Paqueta. He then takes Ings off and replaces him with Cornet not Scamacca who leaves the bench and heads down the tunnel in full kit as if he was about to come on. Awful performance, no intensity at all, wasteful finishing against a poor Villa side who were delighted with a point. Every attack came down the wings as Soucek as the AM was totally ineffective which left Ings isolated. It was clear as day but Moyes didn't see it. Any fool would have brought Scamacca on or if that wasn't possible (though I can't understand why it wasn't) move Bowen to CF and Cornet wide right. or sub Soucek put Benni as the AM with Cornet wide left. Moyes is clueless and so fucking unimaginative, a fan would have made better calls today."

Re: Moyes Out
Northbanknorm 10:03 Sun Mar 12 The commentary and pictures on the stream I was watching suggested the ground was half empty by the final whistle. Were you there and can you put me straight?
Re: Moyes Out
What kind of mental logic is this? IAN LADYMAN: West Ham booed off again as Said Benrahma penalty rescues a point in 1-1 draw with Aston Villa... but sacking David Moyes will NOT help their bid to beat the drop https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11850685/West-Ham-1-1-Aston-Villa-Said-Benrahma-equalises-penalty-spot.html

"We've a decent break coming up, one that encompasses the dwarfs earliest (without financial penalty) sell-by date of 22nd March. If there IS a God, perhaps both the midget AND the fraud will be replaced upon our return."

Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes is just pure, life-sucking poison now. He's basically a thick cսnt who oozes vile, defensive vitriol the moment he's challenged over anything. Like a school bully who the rest of the school rumbled months ago. A man of straw, blaming everybody else for massive failings and obsessing only about keeping his salary."

Re: Moyes Out
"I suppose it won't have gone unnoticed that by the 85th minute, with all three desperately needed points to play for, the home fans seemed more interested in avoiding the rush getting home. The ground was half empty by the end of the game. Never seen anything like it."
Re: Moyes Out
"Gonch 8:55 Sun Mar 12 Different times Gonch, plus Lyall and Bonds at least cared about the Club. Plus neither in the summer before relegation had £150 odd million to spend that was wasted either on below par players or their own inability to get the best out of who they did buy. On top of that they both at least tried to play football!!"

Re: Moyes Out
"I am not a Moyes apologist and want him sacked. However, John Lyall took us down in 1978 and kept his job. Similarly, Billy Bonds took us down in 1992 and kept his job. Is it within the realms of possibility that Sullivan will follow suit with Moyes (especially if we win the Europa Conference)""¶?"
Re: Moyes Out
"Going to place this here as well. Can't imagine Ron Greenwood and John Lyall showing such crap man management. David Moyes says Gianluca Scamacca's ""physical data""ù is to blame for his lack of recent opportunity in the West Ham side, after the forward played no part in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa. Scamacca was hailed as a marquee signing when arriving from Sassuolo in a ¬£30.5million deal last summer and gradually established himself as Moyes' first-choice striker during the first half of the season. But the Italian has started just two of the Hammers' 15 games since the World Cup, in part due to a knee injury, while competition for places has increased since the January arrival of Danny Ings. Ings was rested during the midweek Europa Conference League win over AEK Larnaca but Moyes gave Michail Antonio the chance to lead the line in his place, the decision rewarded as the Jamaican scored twice before being forced off injured. With Antonio missing for the visit of Villa, however, Scamacca might have expected to play a role off the bench but Moyes instead sent on Maxwel Cornet to play as a central striker as his side pushed for a winner late on. ""We know that his physical data has got to be much better than it is,"" revealed Moyes. ""Gianluca has got to get himself back. No manager wants to put out a bad team, you want to put out the players who you think are going to win for you, so you are always looking to put your best team out. ""I think his application is there, we just want the output to be bigger and more, that's one of things we are looking for more (of). ""The general part of his play, his hold-up play, we like him for it, he's really, really good at it and we've not seen it as much in the work we've been doing."" Fucking hell, I think Moyes needs to look at his own ""data"", application and output before slagging off others!"

"Anyone familiar to with the rather excellent ""What we do in the shadows"" will note that David Moyes brand of football is the work of Colin Robinson. The Energy Vampire."
