"marty feldman 11:40 Sullivan would never risk losing hundreds of millions. Exactly. Which is really what makes this so baffling, because that's exactly what's going to happen if we go down. He will personally lose a fortune so it 's incredible he's just sitting on his hands."

"I know it might seem overly passionate or a bit intense but Sunday I was sitting there watching watching each individual player and their demeanour. Watching the subs warming up. Listening to those around me and feeling the general vibe of the stadium. Then I go into our drinks bit and see the way they were looking after my dad for his 70th and family which was top notch and then looking at Moyes. We need to save those players and our club from this wanker who bullies players, destroys confidence and destroys their thoughts about West Ham. Scamacca wanted to be the next Paulo Di Canio but he didn't find no Harry Redknapp waiting for him. Look at the first meeting at training ground between Gargoyles Moyes and Scamacca. It was awkward and uninspiring and the writing was on the wall. This 'winner' who lives in the past, tells everyone he was the man fergie wanted and never mentions not winning fuck all, destroying Sunderland and the Spanish teams spirit, being sacked by man utd and being our last choice but hey we should be grateful for a burn out in Europe and a fall from 4th due to his crap mamagement and now a waste of 180 million which we may never see spent again. Something needs to be done by us. To put sullivan in a position of no choice. Burnley style again at the very least. Get on the pitch. Attack the chairman's suite. Confront Moyes physically. Anything. He is killing us. Sell Rice and get back to ""West Ham only "" thank you very much."

Sullivan would never risk losing hundreds of millions. Not a chance of that have people forgetten him moaning about us winning a cup game as it costs £40 000 quid to take the team up to Merseyside. That bloke on twitter Poplar tales is absolutely adamant that the Czech bloke from JP Morgan on the board is only here to oversee the sale of WHUFC and the purchase of Cardiff city. And he was the one who broke the Kretinsky news first . Whetstone was arguing with him basically calling him a liar . And squeaky nuts ex employee knew nothing about it either.

I know we all want him out but its pointless to keep saying surely Sully will sack him - cos he won't... The fans will play a part - if we lose to Southampton then yes I expect them to turn... but will Sullivan do anything - is it too late by then and if Sullivan thinks Moyes can get the club back up - why would he sack him...? Nobody else agrees - certainly not the fans - media and pundits seem reluctant to blame Moyes - maybe if they did Sullivan might pay more attention to them and us calling for him to go ... But I feel it's too late - to have any effect he'd have to go now - today and for the new manager to come in to prepare.... but it won't happen - so stop kidding yourselves....

"no chance he gives up a pay off, and the midget clearly couldn't give a shit about the drop so bring it on. most of the players will want to leave anyway whether we stay up or go down. the whole management structure (boardroom/dressing room) is poisonous"

He's not going anywhere unless there is some kind of disaster on the pitch or change at boardroom level. As Stewie Griffin described perfectly in this thread - the pond that Sullivan fishes in for managers is incredibly shallow. Moyes is exactly the man he would want for this situation so why change? Everyone else can see how mental it is but not Sullivan who thinks of himself as some kind of football genius.

"New Jersey 11:18 The worst thing is, he WILL know Moyes is the problem. There's no way he won;t have spoken with some of the players, and backroom staff and people like Noble, and sought their opinion."

"BillyJenningsBoots 11:09 WE'RE JUST VAINLY CLINGING ON TO ANY SORT OF HOPE. I don't actually think he'll be sacked after Thursday regardless of the result- unless we actually somehow manage to lose. I'm just trying to convince myself Sullivan actually has some sort of plan to rescue the club from going down, because really it's the only reason that makes any sense as to why he wasn't sacked yesterday. Crossing my fingers Sullivan is just covering his arse so IF we were to somehow not win Thursday, he can blame it all on Moyes. However, if he sacked him first and then we somehow lost, it would all fall on him. But we should be able to win that game with ME managing the fucking team, in all honesty."

"Given that Sulivan told talksports Moyes is the man to get us promoted if relegated, why do we think he is going at all. I want him gone as much as anyone but it ain't happening. That's why the atmosphere is so shit. Sitting there watching that crap on Sunday and watching Moyes giving instructions to nobody in particular knowing his job is safe was possibly the worst feeling I've had in a long time"

New Jersey - what possible evidence do you have of this given all the stories we have heard is Moyes stays even if we get relegated?

"I reckon Sullivan will let Moyes see the Thursday game out and then get rid. He might get Noble to help out to improve morale and promote one of the coaches, hopefully not Nevin who seems to be as negative as Moyes, given how England play as well."

Could it have been Moyes after relegating Sunderland? Was the first name that came up on my search. Sounds like he's used up all his pride thereüò©

"It was fairly evident by Moyes' body language and post match interviews that he knew a point kept him in the job. Would have he gone had we lost and been in the bottom 3? Possibly, but we'll never know now. Don't know what Thursday has to do with anything, anyone on here could coach us to win that game. ZERO interest in it."

"It's not inconceivable he could go after Thursday depending on the result. Clutching at straws but maybe Sullivan has had enough after Sunday but doesn't want the distraction ahead of Thursday to put that game at risk. Although 2-0 up against that side and the lifting of spirits in the players and fans would surely see us through managerless anyway. Then there are a good couple of weeks to get a new man in and invigorate the players. I know. Wishful thinking""¶"

He survived yesterday so he is here until Thursday night at least. Unlikely we go out so expect to see him vs Southampton unfortunately. At least for that game we will win or it will seriously kick off. The cսnt.
