Re: Moyes Out
Like everyone I am hoping Moyes brings us the European trophy but his time is up and dont imagine the owners (hopefully also changing) will trust him with more money. Club needs to progress & next season without Rice will be difficult enough without several players being sidelined & endless negativity.

"He should be sacked for that preseason he didn't organise, add in the dithering and the owner wanting to wheel and deal and you have a recipe for that disaster being the norm""¶.it still remains a circus with these pair running the show""¶I don't hold much hope for the replacement if the ownership remains and we win the Conference Cup""¶."

Re: Moyes Out
"Nagel I want Moyes to leave at the end of the season, I've been clear on that. Whatever happens between now and the end of the season I will always look back on the Moyes years as nothing but positive, yes there have been some poor periods but as a whole the last few years have been bloody brilliant. The hatred some have for him is outrageous. I want him to walk away with his head held high and, hopefully, with a trophy."
Re: Moyes Out
"Managers go through poor times like Klopp has. The difference is that Moyes could never hold a candle to what Klopp does. Moyes has been more than a year of bad performances and incompatible team patterns with new players. We spent about £70m on three forwards that have spent the season injured or not being picked. Add to that the poor integration of those players - Kehrer, Emerson, Downes, Areola, Scamacca, Cornet, Ings added to the prospect of Moyes needing to do that again this close season with so many older players at contract time and with Rice leaving. It doesn't bear thinking about to be honest. Moyes has to go IMHO..."

"twoleftfeet 11:59 Sun May 7 Re: Moyes Out Where are the Moyes out boys? Last Wednesday you were saying ""I want him to walk away at the end of the season"", so basically you want him out as well, but you want to have your cake and eat it too, so you can look down your nose on those of us who aren't mealy mouthed cunts and want him sacked. And let's face it you have to be a complete moron if you believe he'd actually resign and lose out on the big pay-out he'll receive when he's fired."
Re: Moyes Out
He could've cost us the game. Taking Benrahma off for Fornals. We needed pace at that time to relieve us of any late pressure and to get us up the pitch. Cornet or even Emerson would've been a better choice. Then his next 2 subs were just inviting them to attack us as well. Could've easily backfired.
Re: Moyes Out
There's going to be a lot of dissappointed fans . They won't sack Moyes even if we don't win the cup. He may call it a day himself though.

Re: Moyes Out
His refusal to rotate and favouritism towards certain players has been his downfall . I suspect he's going even if we win the conference and what a way to bow out that would be . It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at crystal palace.
Re: Moyes Out
Some of us dont have a short memories we have long long ones Nothing since 80 And we old gits do go on about 86 . Happy days now If he can win a cup he can stay .
Re: Moyes Out
"The baseline has changed so of course last night was a lot better than what we've seen this year. Still set us up same as most games though, we just came up against a really poor Utd side. Haven't changed my view which is want him gone asap"
Re: Moyes Out
"if HE could get atne like that every week id roll out the red carpet. Unfortunately, days like today are too few and far between and for every day like today there's too many more Palace or Brighton away type games for us to have much faith that we can turn a corner with Moyes."

Re: Moyes Out
Some of you have very short memories... don't forget the 30 games of utter dross we have had to endure... a few decent performances at the end if this season should not hide the fact that Moyes is NOT a winner and can't adapt a style of play that suits the players we have... its taken him all season to get this far.. and he has still been parking the bus in between these good performances...

Re: Moyes Out
WD40 I assume you are on a wind up... he has to go whatever happens the league form says so... the style of football is terrible.. that's the reason Allardyce as booted out and why Moyes left the first time...
