Re: Moyes Out
"El Scorchio 2:31 Sat May 13 Absolutely right. Sullivan is like Moyes, always ""after the Lord Mayors show""ù'and out of date with appointments. Rodgers might be the exception but there's that feeling that he peaked at Liverpool and his football ideas have been superseded. But he's ""experienced""ù , older than most managers now and once managed a rich, top 4 club. Sullivan is a classic ""wannabe""ù, wants to be one of the big boys but can't compete so buys the 1990s second hand big old jag with a few blemishes but still plenty of bling. ""Dazzle dazzle in a cheap suit""ù No real, sustainable, progress will ever be made under his ownership. The key is the word ""sustained""ù because it will take a long term vision or plan and wealth and investment that are beyond him and also require him to fully delegate transfer business."

Re: Moyes Out
"Mourinho... erm no thanks, boring football as per Moyes and only last 2-3 seasons we need stability to grow this club to where we want it... and it always ends up all about Jose!!! So I'm out!"
Re: Moyes Out
"Would love Mourinho. Watch the episode of The Playbook that is about him. He'd have a massive impact on our players, and would also bring in players who would otherwise think twice (or not at all) about joining us."
Re: Moyes Out
"TMike , fully agree with you . I'm not English , never lived in England and have supported West Ham since 1975 . I've been to Upton Park about half a dozen times only , never been to the LS . Yet I consider myself a passionate supporter and am as invested in West Ham as much today as I ever was ."

Re: Moyes Out
"I would fucking love mourninho. Yes he plays with an emphasis on making his sides hard to break down and beat BUT he also works on quick transitions and getting forward with purpose to take advantage of situations. If there is any similarity, Moyes uses the first half of Mourinhos philosophy but forgets the second. Not to mention the players will want to play for him and we'll be able to attract more players of note. Doubt we get him though. I feel it's Rodgers if Sullivan is still in charge. I don't like him as a person but we will be better, undoubtedly and it can't be denied he's a winner so I don't mind, although those who don't want him will perform the necessary mental gymnastics to try and explain why nothing he's won actually counts for anything. If Kretinsky is in charge then I feel we are far more likely to make a big splash manager wise."

Re: Moyes Out
"absolute horse shit about not having no emotional attachment if you no longer go. there were numerous reasons I stopped, main ones being the owner at the time (brown) and a moron (roeder) being named manager. nothing that's happened since has made me want to go back, yet I still love the club more than ever. It's why I never stop moaning about the current owner, who is poisonous and the current manager who has been given over a quarter of a billion pounds, yet still adopts an anti football approach most weeks (even did it for an hour on thursday). having that cսnt continually waste money on players he can't coach/manage is unsustainable (which is nothing to do with rob newman, even though the dwarf has shifted the blame on to him rather than the manager), as is filling the team with long ball players with zero technical ability to match his ineptness"
Re: Moyes Out
I suspect that we are after Jose Mourinho and if so then his tactics are not that different than Moyes's except he really is a winner. I wonder how fans would take that because it'd still not be The West Ham Way?
Re: Moyes Out
North Bank - I can't agree with that... I gave up my season ticket early 2002 I think. Since then I've moved to the other side of the world and back and have a season ticket again. My emotional attachment never lessened in that time. I'm fact because of the day out I cope better with bad results than I ever did watching at 2 am in the morning.

Re: Moyes Out
"North Bank 100% Many years ago I was dragged along to a Simply Red concert. I found their music pleasant but not really a and I wanted to see. The only curiosity I had was the way in which they performed their music. In other words, how they developed and interpreted the recorded work in a live setting. They performed the music exactly as it sounded on the CD. There really was no difference which seemed to be enough for the fans present but I found astounding as it offered nothing extra to the CD experience except the visual and the day out aspect of going to a concert. It is funny how different people want to be entertained."

"Branded I make no apologies for my opinion that those that regularly go to games and have done for years, decades even, have much more emotional attachment to, West Ham United FC, than those that rarely leave their armchair, pub seat, bedroom etc to find out the result. No amount of excuses will convince me otherwise"

Re: Moyes Out
"Manuel I put posters into several camps, including myself of course Those willing to give everyone a go and support without conditions attached Those that tire quickly when they don't get what they want Those that are willing to give time to anyone that isn't performing to their standards Those who have set standards that they are not willing to give up and wish to see embraced Those who see certain lines that should not be crossed Those who pay out plenty of money and expect to see some return from that payment in the form of entertainment. Those that pay out plenty of money and hope that there will be moments that live long in the memory as really special moments you cherish. Those that treat going to football matches as the ""whole"" experience not just Football Manager. Its about people and places and the fun that is gained despite the football. I'm sure there are many others but I've enjoyed the two European campaigns and am hoping we will be in Prague and will be there. I was in Seville last year and was really jealous of the Rangers fans but at the end of the day they ended up deflated but they loved every second of it before that as I did at the 2006 FA cup final ( for example ). Both the Man U game and last night were great experiences for me."

Re: Moyes Out
"The pure hatred on here now has got to a point where it can no longer even be taken seriously. When, and if, a new cսnt comes in next season and does fuck all, which will of course be the case, because as a club we have always done fuck all, then what? Rinse and repeat the same old fucking hate and shit again?? This site should have shut down years ago, and in the process doing many people a favour."

"Feet, of course it wouldn't bother you in the slightest if a West Ham fan stopped going, you have absolutely no connection to the club, you have never been to watch West Ham play live, an half empty stadium would have no significance to you whatsoever whilst you're watching your stream."
Re: Moyes Out
"Eerie indecent 1.07 You're so full of shit, wasn't that long ago you said getting to semi final last season was worst thing ever in our history as it kept Moyes as manager I seriously hope you do 'bin it off next season' and you stop posting your constant doom and groom crap on here,we don't need so called fans like you"
