I respect people trying to make rational comments at this point. I really hope Moyes leaves on this incredible high. But hard to be upset at anything at this point.

"I wonder what Football Italia said about Roma and their ""Dinosaur tactics""ù and constant play acting and time wasting during their semi final win against Bayer Leverkusen a few weeks back. Not forgetting Mourinho's disgraceful actions after the final last week."

"nicked from the mail: West Ham's 'DINOSAUR tactics' come under fire in Italy after their Europa Conference League final win over Fiorentina. Football italia wrote: 'Football can be an entirely unfair game at times, something Fiorentina were bitter victims of in an utterly miserable Europa Conference League final against West Ham.' They described the Hammers' performance as 'nothing short of miserable' and that the match wasn't the 'beautiful game' at its best with cynical fouls and an 'obvious lack of quality from both sides'. The outlet went on to add: 'Italiano is clearly a smart and talented coach, but all his plans and tactics are worthless when the players at his disposal can't properly implement them. 'David Moyes, on the other hand, was like the Tyrannosaurus rex in Jurassic Park ""ì snatched from an older time period, but somehow still having the starring moment at the end of the film.' LOLZ"

"Congratulations to us, West Ham United, long, long overdue. Congratulations to the players and Moyes - they deserve the fuck out if it. Congratulations to us, the fans, we deserve this victory equally as much. So proud & so happy to be a hammer this morning. So what next? Well, in the league, our record was W11, D7, L20 and combined with that, we watched the most dull, backward, unimaginitive football I've seen from a West Ham side for a very long time. Last night we saw it again in the 1st half & we only started to have a go at them when they'd equalised - then we pissed all over them. Thats how we are capable of playing (take Man U & Arsenal), but we simply don't play that way because of the managers tactics. And he can't change - season after season with varying clubs has shown that. I don't want to watch that, particularly with the players we have available to us. But thats just my view, I recognise that others have a totally different view on Moyes. So be it. I hope he gets offered a deal with Celtic which allows him to leave with dignity. If not, I'd like to see a deal being struck that allows him to leave anyway & if worded that it was his choice - so be it. I don't think he completely deserves that after his ego driven disrespect toward us, the fans, but bygones are bygones I guess. There are simply better managers out there who will make us a better team. We will not go backwards if he leaves. We're a fantastic club who will attract a top class manager. So - another season of 11,7,20 and garbage football or a change to attractive, attacking football? I know what I'd choose.."

"Clearly he's staying. It surely doesn't need saying, but in what world does a club sack their manager just after delivering the clubs first trophy for 43 years, we would be a laughing stock and the media would slaughter us. I still want him gone, the only chance is, as said, Celtic come in, but I don't see that happening."

Our Chairman and our manager are shit but we seems to be on a role with an excellent culture at the club. Maybe they are building something in spite of their incompetence that it would be a shame to spoil? I'm prepared to grin and bare it to see where it takes us...

"Do I think he is the best man to take us forward if we want to progress and have more days like yesterday? Probably not. In an ideal world, Celtic will approach us to speak to Moyes about becoming their new manager and out of respect we agree to it and we both shake hands and he leaves on a high note and we search for a new manager. Although the football hasn't been great at times I hope most will still look at Moyes reign overall and say it was a success even the ones who hate him. 6th place 7th place & semi final of EL Winners of Europa Conf For now let's enjoy this moment and the managerial situation will hopefully sort itself out later either way. COYI!"

"Realistically he only leaves if someone like Celtic come in for him. Fully cognizant of that. He is right in what he said in interview...if you'd called what we've done when he joined the first time, or when he came back after Pellegrini you'd have said he was looney tunes. Bloke deserves huge credit, and if he's here next year still, can't deny he's earned it. But think for us to move forwards and push on again, it will need the manager after Moyes to be in situ. First things first...get the DoF Mitchell in, and work forwards from there."

"He won't go though will he? From how he was talking last night he's just looking forward to next season and there's no way he's walking away while he's under contract. As for Sullivan, he's not going to sack him now if he didn't when we were teetering and hadn't won a game in God knows how long. Especially after last night, he'd get slaughtered by the press. If we start very poorly next season then Sullivan might be tempted to pull the trigger at the first opportunity but until then I can't see him going."

"Still think he needs to leave for us to go further. Forever greatful for the occasion delivered last night, and it was a truly typical Moyes performance, but he won't be able to top it, and the club needs to use this moment to kick on again. We missed a chance last January....you rarely get a second bite of the cherry, but we have it now and need to take it. As for who...still think Rogers is the obvious candidate. BUT any change is a risk...the players have a way of playing which is enough to grind out enough wins. Any change of course risks that, but we should back ourselves and the quality in our squad to take it to the next rung."

"Positives: 14th and a European Cup. Negatives: in the Relegation mire all season and the football had been hard-to-watch dogshit at times I've been in the Moyes out camp since December, and OF COURSE he has to stay based on tonight, however, we go again next season and the football has to be better. We were that close to relegation and no cup - fine lines and all"

"If it was any other club wanting to oust their European cup winning manager after such a barren spell, we'd be taking the piss. We'd be vexed at the stupidity of our Norfolk carrot crunching spastics!"
