There were four factors that defined his move 1. It was still London 2. It was a team in the Champions League 3. It was £105 million 4. His wage just went up a whole load ( admittedly we had offered that too but over 8 years)

It was laughable seeing Arsenal suggested as a sideways move. I really don't get all of this hate for Rice. He could see what we all can. That under Sullivan & Moyes the club will largely tread water with the odd result thrown in here and there. In its current guise the club didn't match his ambitions. As things stand the club doesn't match my ambitions either. The only difference is I have never had a choice to make and he did.
