"That has been exclusively confirmed to Hammers News by a top club source amid claims Steidten could walk less than a month into the job. ""He finds the manager very hard work,""ù was our top source's verdict on rumours a frustrated Steidten could leave the Hammers. And people here still defends him, and Sullivan still hasn't pulled the plug? Owner and board are incompetent fools of the highest order."

"Maybe Sullivan is waiting for the perfect time and excuse to get rid of Moyes. Relegation would have seen him go but Moyes screwed that up. Next opportunity would have been him losing the UCL final but he screwed that up too. Next opportunity will be a crap start to this season with our tough start. Unless Moyes pulls off another blinder and screws that up, gets some good results and us off to a good start."

Sullivan was pretty ruthless when it came to quashing the fans' rebellion a few years back. Yet he seems scared of binning-off david doubtfire. All very odd

"""In which case he needs to get Brady on the blower, and tell her to get shot of the bloke."" She's part of the problem. Groomed by Sullivan from the start, Brady has little or no experience of running businesses other than in his image. When you think about it, other than ever work for Sullivan what has she actually done? Appear on the Apprentice and briefly serve on the board of Philip Green's Arcadia (she obviously has a thing for flawed barrow boys)."

"threesixty Sullivan, while still the controlling shareholder, cuts an oddball, isolated figure these days. In an era when large organisations thrive on routinely refreshing their leadership pack to ensure a diverse mix of skills and experience, West Ham give the impression of being firmly stuck in the past. All the signs are of a large business being held back by the limitations of a small one. Hence a small handful of individuals that offer no real challenge to the hand that feeds them exercise undue levels of influence. It keeps them in a job and keeps the club firmly stuck. Anybody, whether that be directors, senior coaching staff or players, with any ambition or fresh or progressive ideas of their own are either sidelined, fired or leave for pastures new. No wonder we struggle to attract and retain the right players."

"In which case he needs to get Brady on the blower, and tell her to get shot of the bloke. Then when the media go in on him, just say the relationship had become untenable, the club need to capitalise on recent success (as well as a challenging financial climate) and that Moyes had sold the club on the 'Red Bull' model he was so effusive about, but had failed to deliver on that, and coupled with terrible league form stretching back 18 months, it was time to make a change. It's amazing really that off the back of the success at the end of last season, those scenes on the parade, the turn out, the buzz about the club, between them they've managed to engineer this monumental cluster fuck. Totally beggars belief. The root cause is Sullivan and his fear of making a mistake, and he's let Moyes become a cancer at the club. He's dead man walking. For the sake of the club he has to go....it's a great season to make a change and take that risk with so much dross being in the bottom half of the league."

"My take is that Moyes has learned how to ""manage"" Sullivan. He's created a relationship with him that other managers hadn't managed by being loyal to him in the press and basically telling him what he wants to hear. I think Sullivan has taken his eye of the club with his new relationship and Gold dying probably hasn't helped how he judges things. I think he ended up relying on Moyes as his ""guy"". And thats why he hasn't sacked him, its why he wants to see out his contract and why he has trouble overruling his employee at his own business. And now he's feeding stuff out to the press in hope that it creates a fix for the situation without him having to metaphorically ""execute"" his new confidant (Moyes). I think getting the DOF was also his attempt to gain some control without directly attacking Moyes. And Moyes has said fuck off basically. He really has lost control and doesn't really know how to sort it out without hurting himself a bit. He's very old fashioned with his loyalty stuff that guy. Would rather everything burn than break stuff and sort it all out properly."

Not at the time but now I think winning the European trophy will probably get us relegated. Moyse has to go if our club want to move forward.

I think we are not at the point where a military coup is required to relinquish Emperor Moyes of his position.

"Maybe Moyes has had enough and wants out but not going without his payoff, Sullivan doesn't want to pay him off and, while Moyes is in position everyone is aiming their griefs at him and not Sullivan. On top of this I think Sullivan can't wait to sell but can't yet so he's riding it out in as comfortable way as he can. Nobody has the clubs best interests at the front of their minds, it's all about personal greed."

"because sullivan knows every poxy rentamouth in the whole sports media would be absolutely CLAMOURING for our failure if we binned off moyes and i think he hates bad press more than bad football. it all seems very passive aggressive now. moyes is like the stubborn nan who won't be put in a home even though she's a crippled piss engine who needs waiting on hand and foot. moyes knows he'll never get a gig as good as this so he'll cling on to the bitter end, reminding sullivan on the reg that he's got jim white on speed dial."

"We do need to upgrade Moyes, I would not be surprised if the new DOF has a brief to come in for a season, see what we need, Buy young hungry players, stop buying Premier League players who are past there prime and most of all find a manager to take us forward. I expect Moyes to go by Christmas and a new manager to come in the next day."

"Namely What Two doesn't understand that Moyes has been pretty dire for 18 months. Most of us has seen this coming and commentated with valid suggestions Lyon and Prague aside it's been awful. I've never read any thoughts from Two or alternatives to tactics etc. Just punchy, aggressive incorrect assumptions and dumb insults. He's a weed and coward. Pathetic an understatement."
