"Something has to give, who is going Moyes or Steidten? I think it will be Moyes. I certainly hope so. £40m for JWP? That's having them pulled down and getting it up the arse."

Looks like Steidten has overuled Moyes regarding Ward Prowse according to the Guardian. Can't see this relationship lasting another month.

"Fan unrest was brewing last season. Every time it reached the point of overspilling Moyes scraped a result, like Everton at home. Even tho we won a trophy, cos of this window and the big negative rumours surrounding it (at the moment) its still there. Lose away at bournemouth and at home to Chelsea things could easily start to turn again"

Also you say the fan unrest what we say on this forum is nothing like the present West Ham modern day fan. They're still living on the Conference league trophy and Moyes will milk it until its dry. He'll last until Christmas and even then the majority will forgive him. The Burnley days are over sadly was the main reason I gave it the elbow over there.

"Paying Moyes off would cost circa 2-3 million. That's peanuts in football terms. Sully must be aware of the fan unrest and the shit football. I do not understand why he doesn't pull the trigger. Though it was great to win that cup, it's the equivalent of the Papa John's in the domestic league so shouldn't really make him unsackable."

"The sensible way to do this would've been for Sullivan to sit Dithering Dave down and say ""Look, Dave, I'm making changes. I'm bringing someone in that hast vast knowledge of the European market. I want him to bring in younger players on an upward curve that won't cost the earth. Then we can utilise them, hopefully win a few trophies, and then, if we sell, we sell at a profit. It's the most efficient way and it's what I want to do. It means that you will relinquish you responsibility for targeting players. This isn't about undermining you it's about what I see as the right thing for West Ham FC. Have a think and sleep on it. Let me know tomorrow if you want to be part of it or not. If you do then I expect full co-operation. If you don't then we can come to an agreement on severance pay. I see you as our coach moving into the future and so I hope you want to be part of the new set up. Thank you."" Problem is. If Sulli brought the scarf botherer without the above conversation taking place then I do see Moyes issue. But, bottom line, Sullivan needs to manage it. And regardless of how it occured, Moyes needs to get with it and start to play the game. If he doesn;t then Sulli needs to can him pronto."

"Given our form last season and the next 11 fixtures I only see 2 definite wins really. Personally I'd sack him if we dont get a result at Brighton. Mainly because its always been our bogey team. And it would show he has made improvements to our playing style. Every other result would have the same ""what do you expect its Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City etc..) Brigthon or bust..."

Clickbait from the Screaming queens.! Alonso is most likely to end up at Real Madrid. And if he did end up in the Premier League. He would end up at Liverpool. It's fucking lazy reporting. 2+2= FISH.!

"Maybe wishful thinking BUT............according to one of the WHU Youtube channels betting on Xabi Alonso to be the next WHU manager has been suspended? Could the lack of transfer activity be down to the board negotiating a new manager and so about to get rid of Moyes and appoint Alonso, Tim Steidten was the man who brought him to Leverkusen, maybe just maybe the deal is in the pipeline for him to follow the scarf loving German to West Ham........... Like i said though Wishful thinking............."

"Roman sacked a coach that won the CL a few months before! This is football. They are all on contracts anyway, not like normal employees. If the club breaks the contract they pay up, thats all that happens. I just think Sullivan is trying to be honourable and is grateful for what Moyes has done for him. A few years back the guy was getting coins thrown at his head and now he's got a trophy and 105m in the bank. So from a far it looks good. But running a businesses is about the details. It's also about running it regardless who leaves or who stays. Keeping it healthy for the long term. With a more detailed look at the club, I dont see how anyone can think we are going in the right direction. We have had a terrible 18 months of football in the competition that pays the bills, the Premier League. Form generally runs in from the end of the last season to the new one. And I can't see anything radical that will change our fortunes. Especially as everyone else in the league is upgrading whilst we are, asset wise getting much worse without Rice. Any business man would be looking for a change in leadership very quickly to get the best out of the assets at the club."

"Also by sacking him it could lift the spirits and mindset of some of the players he's pissed off or want to leave, it's far far cheaper than continually losing money on players who go on to perform well elsewhere. Makes no sense for Sullivan to keep going over old ground."

That's all nonsense. If the club sacked him they'd just pay off the remaining year of his contract. The only way there might be a tribunal or court appearance would be if Moyes quit himself and then sued us like Curbishley did.

"One thing everyone on WHO forgets about sacking an employee with a contract, is that employers have to be seen to have been fair. A manager that has coached a youngster into being a £105m player; gained 2 top 7 finishes; got the club 3 European campaigns; got to a semi-final then won a final and 3rd year yet to play a game, is unlikely to be viewed as an incompetent by any tribunal or court when Moyes sues for unfair dismissal. Unattractive football is also hard to justify when the club regularly sells out of season tickets early. Sacking Moyes would be extremely dodgy and Moyes would need massive compensation to save WH's blushes at their obvious incompetence at board level coming out in a court room..."

"It's like Sullivans got the beginnings of dementia, not saying it lightly, but normal rational thinking and the usual hard nosed way was what went first with the father in law. Turned into a soppy old fucker who now sees the best in a cսnt but the worst in ones that matter. Soooo many bad decisions easy for all to see except them."

"It was sullivan who brought Steidten in and now faces a conflict between him and moyes. There should be no conflict after watching moyes blow best part of £200m this time last year, surely he does not want a repeat. If he hasn't got the guts to rid us of moyes then get that useless managing director to do it, she appears to do sod all for her wages, is it c£1m a year?"
