"Preferred Rodgers, what a shock. The they he walks (or hopefully kicked) out of WHU he will disappear from top football. Just like Pulis, Bruce etc"

Re: Moyes Out
I think if there was interest from Celtic then he would have gone. I think Sullivan was hoping they would come in for him but they obviously preferred Rodgers.

Re: Moyes Out
"As others have said, he really should have walked away this summer. Would have had a choice of gigs, could have got Celtic so that would be even more trophies. but the ego of the man... watching that podcast he gave, you could see it in his eyes. He really believes his own PR this one. I think it's a win win for us now as fans. He will either have transformed the team in training with some new way of playing that gets us great results early doors.. or he's going to get demolished in the 10 games. And he'll be out. Not seen anything to suggest any different form from last season so, we just have to handle it for a few months I imagine."
Re: Moyes Out
"Has anyone noticed a pattern of coaches; players and now DOF falling out with Mr Moyes? Surely it is now time to deal with the cause rather than the symptom? Thank him for the memories of Europe, remind him of the shit show over the last season and a half and ask him politely to fuck off!"

Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes should have walked away with his head held high a month ago. A big massive thanks all round and his stock at and all time high, I'm sure some clubs would have taken him, we have outgrown him and Sullivan. The club could have then got Stiedten in and a new manager of his recommendation and both could have got to work getting in players for the future. Instead we have 3 ways of looking at things, Sullivan wants it done on the cheap and with his best mate Silkman, Stiedten wants to look to the future, potential sell on value of players, helping the club financially in the long run. Moyes wants to lump out almost 70 million of 2 man utd duds which will put a smile on his best mate Sir Alex's face. Sullivan should be no where near the club, give Stiedten his budget, watch him get to work and watch the club push on. We are going nowhere under Sullivan and Moyes but it will be Timmy pushed out. Moyes will never ever replicate the season we had last year, well actually he probably will but maybe this year it will be 21 losses though rather than 20 in the league."

Re: Moyes Out
"He didn't exactly stop Southampton being relegated did he? No, but he scored 9 league goals, in a relegated side. More than any of our players. Our leading scores got 6 league goals each. Then again, Southampton scored 12 goals from set pieces in the league last season. We got 11."

Re: Moyes Out
"It seems more and more obvious that Sullivan wanted Moyes to leave after the cup win and was hoping someone like Celtic would come in for him as he didn't feel he could sack him as there might have been a big backlash after winning something. So now we have an owner who doesn't want the manager but won't sack him, a manager who knows he's not wanted but won't walk without compensation and a difference in opinion between the manager and the new technical director on what players we should bring in. It's never boring being a West Ham supporter that's for sure!"

Re: Moyes Out
"get this fucker gone today, pay him up and boot him out the door. we then still have time to sort things out before the deadline"
Re: Moyes Out
"This is all sullivan, likewise I'm sick of the jock cսnt and his shit football but Sullivan has created this. A bloke who clearly has no future at the club on a 1 yr deal and basically being giving a task of rebuilding a side after selling our best player. Easily avoided if the little cսnt had some bollocks and had shook hands with Moyes after the final and said that'll do. But no the prick comes out and says he can stay manager if he wants as long as he wants to, now he perceives to undermine him with this Tim fella. Sullivan is a cancer, sooner gone the better."
Re: Moyes Out
"Can't stand Moyes and his prehistoric football , but Sullivan is the biggest issue in the whole farce and we can all see it . Moyes is only interested in self preservation, nothing else and you could say you can hardly blame him under the circumstances. But not just now though, last season when referring to our European run , he was interviewed just before the final iirc and said ""òI've been to a Euro semi final and now a final "" All about him . Sullivan has fucked this up big time but now needs to act and sack Moyes . Gives a new manager the rest of the transfer window to get in a few in ."

Re: Moyes Out
"Got to say, I'm with Griff on this one: the problem ""seems"" to be that, even after winning the ECL last season, Sullivan hasn't fully committed to Moyesball long-term - other than its cheapness. Winning the trophy before selling Declan was a tipping point for the club. We either had to swallow it, back Moyes completely and go full Moyesball with the cash and players he wanted to bring in...or say ""thanks, but go out on a high..."" and move him on, back a new manager fully with the cash/players etc. But, whichever choice was made, we had to commit to it as our immediate future. Instead, in classic indecisive, incompetent tin-pot West Ham fashion, we've appointed a ""technical director"" (we probably didn't need) who quite clearly is in conflict with the manager - very different views about how to spend money - and it has led to this complete inertia and incompetence. Not replacing your England international club captain, who brought in a record fee, before the season starts would be an epic failure. We're a week away from that."

Re: Moyes Out
"they weren't as reliant on set pieces as Moyesball if your entire gameplan is to keep it tight and try to nick a goal via a set piece, name a better player we can sign than Ward Prowse? There isn't one. Of course, the better option would be to get rid of the cսnt so we can play some actual football, but that doesn't seem likely yet"

Re: Moyes Out
"muskie - on the face of it yes. But if Moyes is our manager, I'm not sure there's a better player on the planet for us to sign than James Ward-Prowse. Certainly not in England there isn't. Pretty much our only threat is from set pieces - our lack of goals from them last season was the major difference in our performances over previous years - so you may as well sign the best proponent of them that's available."
Re: Moyes Out
With this cսnt I find myself wishing we don't spend any money and we find ourselves in the bottom 3 at Xmas and the new manager comes in and spends it on quality players in liaison with Steidten. Oh to be West Ham

Re: Moyes Out
"If we get to the opening game of the season, having sold our captain and world-class international, for a record fee, and haven't replaced him in any way whatsoever, it will be the final confirmation that our board and manager cannot organise the proverbial piss up in a brewery. Not that anybody with any experience of West Ham needed that confirmation. We're all used to it now, and have become slightly inured to it, but the level of incompetence that takes is off the charts. Where was the plan? What was the plan? What is the plan? Clearly, there is no fucking plan at West Ham - they are a just winging it...all of the time. Tin pot, two bob club off the pitch saved, as always, by its fans (literally, last season, when some fans physically saved ex-players, staff and relatives from getting a battering)."
