Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
Eerie - he was sticking up for him last week saying he was doing a good job and criticising me because I thought he wasn't He clearly thinks he was getting it right. But as you say the same tactics and getting away with it as he did against Newcastle and Chelsea.

Re: Moyes Out
"""When Moyes gets it wrong as he did against Villa"" We, what exactly did he 'get wrong' against Villa? He done exactly what he always does, set up to play the same defensive way, and picked the same team as he has done since the new players came in, the hapless Aguerd starting, our best central midfielder hung out to dry on the left wing to accommodate Frankenstein in the number 10 position, Antonio trying to chase lost causes. The only difference with Villa is our luck ran out. I do question whether some of you have even watched our games, utterly clueless."

Re: Moyes Out
"We got exactly what I thought has been coming for a while on Sunday. I personally haven't seen what others have seen this season to think we'd give them a proper game, I've been watching a team go through the motions against shit teams, and not have the football against better teams, which for me doesn't have longevity. Truth is, the way Villa went could easily have gone the same way as Chelsea & Brighton, had Areola not had 2 of the best goalie performances you'll see. The penalty for Chelsea goes in, and the whole vibe would've been different as we'd definitely have gone on to lose Far too many have been carried away by our 'good' start, it was the most obvious false dawn, to me anyway. We'll probably beat Everton, because that's what keeps him in jobs, but for the money we've spent building a squad for this manager, and some of the players we've got, it's embarrassing how we play."
Re: Moyes Out
"goose has it right. When we do well with Moyes tactics we fans have to accept it as it brings limited success. When Moyes gets it wrong as he did against Villa, then spoke about how we are still building our team but Emery has his about there it makes my blood boil. Moyes has spent ¬£450m and 3.5 years while Emery has had one season""¶"

Re: Moyes Out
"The Villa game was huge and we blew it, and blew it big time, which has now raised concerns and questions about where we are at. Had we won we would have been 5th going into Everton at home where a win could have even had us top 4, we'd be buzzing. Instead, we now sit in 9th with an air of gloom around feeling like Everton is now a must if we don't want the decent start to evaporate before us."

Re: Moyes Out
The fact we are now pushing Paqueta wide to accommodate Soucek and the fact that Antonio is still our main striker tells you all you need to know. After a good start I am fearful again. We lost at home to Everton and it will all kick off again. And that's because Moyes insists on playing the way he does and doing the things he does. I think there's some sick part of Moyes that deliberately throws games so we don't get too excited. I know that's not true so don't jump on me. It's juist that some of his thinking and selections are so illogical I can only see it that way.
Re: Moyes Out
"The selection of Soucek and Antonio and playing others out of position to accommodate them is just total insanity. Other than some bizarre loyalty what could he think they currently offer ? I guess like Southgate, he just ignores their performances and form because he doesn't know how to play any other way and they fit his ""blueprint""ù? It gets more absurd week by week and has been going on for 2 years."

Re: Moyes Out
when you decide to play the way Moyes does then you have to deliver the results. as soon as he doesnt then he will get the grief. whats the point in spending £30m on a ball playing centre back if we dont play out? whats the point in spending £50m on a midfield playmaker if we dont play through midfield? whats the point on spending £30m on a centre forward who links play if we're gonna ask him to chase hopeless long balls into the channels?

"Moyes has said when interviewed that Kudus is ready yet still doesn't start him ahead of a shit Antonio, the man's a career destroyer for talented footballers, completely the opposite of encouragement and enthusiasm he sucks the fucking life out of the team."

"....and if Emerson doesn't get there, you see what happened sunday with Antonio constantly drifting out of position, leaving no one in the middle and attacks breaking down (must have happened at least six times in the first half). it's shit"

Re: Moyes Out
"like Fornals, Vlasic. Etc, Etc. Paqueta is not a winger, never has been so he's not even playing LW, it's a withdrawn LM role where he's directly in front of Emerson (others did the same when Cresswell was playing). It's almost as if the jock cսnt has told him to drop in to LB whenever Emerson gets forward. that position has been a graveyard for multiple talented players, but he's now decided to stick arguably our best player there, and still some support the negative bastard in charge üòÇüëç"
Re: Moyes Out
When Moyes tactics work I feel we should accept it but last weekend showed up all his glaring inadequacies. Poor team selection with a crippled CB against a mobile CF; our bets number 10 in years played left wing to get defensive midfielder Soucek in the number 10 role; and then not start a £45m goal scorer signing! To cap it all not taking off Soucek at half time when he looked lost and then not bringing on the young striker for Antonio who was poor and bringing on Ings again for a few minutes... Face facts though. Unless he gets us back in relegation zone he's here all season.
Re: Moyes Out
"Ron Everyone said an indicator would be the 5 games City,Liverpool, Sheffield United ,Newcastle and Villa. 1 win against the worst team in the league, with better strikers they could have got a point,we shut up shop. Easily beaten in 3 and a last minute goal from a player Moyes won't start.. Any more fucking indicators"

Re: Moyes Out
I think Diddly Dave realises carrying on with Moyes is going to make him look total two bob. I think he's gonna pull the trigger this year.
