Re: Moyes Out
"Does anyone seriously think we will get relegated under Moyes this season? There is so much dross in the league this year that it would be extremely unlikely for us to even finish in the bottom five (16th or below). Unless the losing run continues to double figures, we are stuck with Moyes until the end of the season. There really is no point debating it as what does it achieve? Next summer the club will hopefully shake his hand and part ways and we can but hope they will replace him with a younger, more progressive type manager. Until then, there is no point debating the situation for months on end. Lock this shit."
Re: Moyes Out
"What position does Downes play at Southampton? I didn't know he was on loan, bring him back I say."
Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes wanted Downes out if the club I heard. Downes made clear he wasn't impressed by Moyes treatment of him only giving him a few minutes and when he did get a start it was out of position in an advanced midfield role which he doesn't play in. Moyes was against Downes being brought in as it was via Warbarton and thus was never going to give a fair chance. He was loaned because Noble and others thought he was still a decent prospect but Moyes wanted him gone and he won't return while Moyes is here. That's what I heard from a mate who knows Warbarton from his City trading days Same applies to Cornet and Benny although the latter did eventually get a Moyes to change his mind. That said Benny is not a wide player Moyes ""way or the highway "" and it does suggest Moyes is a control freak who is very insecure. Well we have heard that from various sources If they're not his players they ain't got much chance. Only Alvarez plays CDM and the Downes loan looks a poor decsion without a replacement although Moyes probably thought Soucek can play there with his pace and great passing"

"I don't reckon Soucek has touched the ball 137 times throughout the whole season. Downers is a good player, and will be a regular at a Prem side in future."

Re: Moyes Out
""" I know someone who works directly with Moyes every day and they say he's a really nice person to work for, pleasant, polite etc.""ù I think that's the problem here. On one hand he's made West Ham a proper club internally. He can handle people and ego's etc. and I think people who work there genuinely enjoy being at the club. But on the other hand that means everyone has to put up with mediocre coaching for the games. Is it impossible to have both? I'm sure Ange at spurs isn't a bastard either. Celtic people loved him. But you still have to make sure the football is the no.1 priority. And I think a lot of the decisions Moyes makes, even when deciding to keep players in or not staff youngsters is more designed to keep the ""business""ù part of West Ham ticking over rather than winning games. I think Moyes is going revert to fully 20% ball possession now. And he'll get the results. But we will still can't get out of 1st gear with Moyes. He can't get our team to play expansive football. I don't know why it's so hard? Everyone is law can manage it. Why not us?"

"""There's one poster calling out loads of us with sarcastic comments about us sacking such a successful manager.. Now calling for his head."" You'd be well within your right to name him, considering he's always calling out posters on here after a fluky win."

Re: Moyes Out
So Moyes has dropped Soucek. Started Kudus. Subbed the carthorse early. Given Benny playing time. And we can't beat Everton at home. What's Moyes next move?

Re: Moyes Out
"""Pellegrini went after 8 straight losses ?"" No, two losses either side of a win in december, and three losses with a win in november. Knowing how slippery that cսnt sullivan, I doubt we've ever lost six in a row in the last thirty/forty years. it's why he'd put such a condition out there, as he knows it has rarely if ever happened"
Re: Moyes Out
2 more defeats this week will force Sullivan to start thinking about the possibility of binning Moyes but it won't happen Imo unless we lose at least 2 or 3 after that. Pellegrini went after 8 straight losses ?
Re: Moyes Out
"Just been reading back through this, you only have to go back a few weeks to see the disgust from some that some of us wanted Moyes out despite our good results. But it was blatantly obvious to some that those results and the way we were playing weren't sustainable. Shit like lock this embarrassing shit. There's one poster calling out loads of us with sarcastic comments about us sacking such a successful manager.. Now calling for his head. We may beat Arsenal's second 11, and struggle to a couple of bland 1-0 in the league and they will change their tune. I won't we're a fucking embarrassing team to watch.. Nothing will change while he is here. Oh and as for all those suggesting it's only on the Internet that fans don't like him and those at games feel differently.. All I hear is others slagging him off.."
Re: Moyes Out
"Nagel, fair enough, my sarcasm meter must be on the blink? Eerie, yes and a change of manager is needed to make that work."

Re: Moyes Out
"The last thing I'd want at the minute is to see one of our youngsters flogged up front in our shithouse cսnt football team, feeding off scraps, it could ruin their careers. It is staggering the amount of people who got sucked in by 2 shithouse wins. I noticed on the match thread there's a couple of posters who went over their for the first time this season, trust me, when you watch that shit live it gives you a whole different perspective. There are so many things wrong with the situation, it doesn't need to be said again, anyone who has half an idea about football can now see what a few of us have been saying for over a year now."
Re: Moyes Out
"Nagel, he can't be any worse than what we currently have and he MIGHT be a lot better? Rooney made his first debut at 16 years of age"

"We're now getting the results our performances deserve. Doesn't look so rosy for Moyes when he doesn't fluke it, does it?"
Re: Moyes Out
"You can't stick an 18 year old into the first team. Okay, so Lamine Yamal has played 14 times for his club this season and he only turned 16 in July, but that's at a tin pot club like Barcelona and playing in shit competitions like the Champions League. Moyes should just wait until Callum is 21, after a few seasons on loan in Div 2."

Re: Moyes Out
I just hate his arrogance when giving interviews. I was disappointed listening to James Collins recently when he was full of praise for the bloke. However I think we are on the way down the table and we should be looking for a replacement asap.

Re: Moyes Out
"Rossal - Yea good summary, agree with all that. I know there is a school of thought that we should back off from judging players until he's gone, and to an extent I get that, but looking at Aguerd and Zouma last few games we ain't keeping any keep sheets, they are all over the place and Aguerd is a bag of nerves. Arsenal was meant to be a big occasion on Wednesday, but to me it just feels like a big inconvenience now and reckon it will be pretty moody over there."
