"What she actually said was ""what on earth are you talking to me about football for, you senile old cuntbag...?"""
Re: Moyes Out
"daveyg 12:45 Yes I told the wife while watching Chelsea v Manchester City that David Moyes had turned down the chance to sign both Alvarez for City and Palmer for Chelsea... She said ""what on earth for...?"""
Re: Moyes Out
"If we're being linked with Hannes Wolf it's probably only because he managed Leverkusen for a couple of months while Steidten was there. Wolf was an up and comer a few years back and was linked with the Leeds job about 5-6 years ago, but he's had a pretty poor record in management since then. Apart from his caretaker role at Leverkusen, where he got 9 points from 8 games, he also failed in full time roles at Stuttgart, HSV and Gent, and going from those clubs to managing the German youths is a backwards trajectory. Would be very surprised if he was being considered at all."
Re: Moyes Out
"The fraud fooled us last week by bringing on Mubama and Cornet. Now at the end of yesterday's game he had his dream team on. Coufal,Cresswell, Antonio,JWP,Ogbonna. He probably had a double wank in office this morning laughing at the fans. Good god,can you imagine if we had bought Cole Palmer. He wouldn't have even make the bench under this clown. I'm exasperated that he is still our manager. The biggest waste of talent under one manager"

Re: Moyes Out
The manager steitden wants is Hannes wolf . Germanys under 20 manager . Rather him pick the manager than the dwarf slag. Steve Bruce would get the job if left to him . Cheap and cheerful Sullivans motto .

Re: Moyes Out
Jaan Sullivan dosent rate potter whatsoever. He made that clear last autumn. Said all Brighton's success was all down to how well Tony bloom structures the club .
Re: Moyes Out
"Manuel - I could see Will Still being a disaster if he was plunged into a dressing room containing too many primadonnas. Luckily I don't think our dressing room does so I could see a young, progressive manager being accepted by the group... the older players who may be less responsive to a young 31 year old coming in (Cresswell, Antonio, Ings etc..) will all be off in any case I expect."

Re: Moyes Out
Potter ticks every box for Sullivan. Not too young. English. PL experience. Available.

Re: Moyes Out
"Will Still is an interesting one, you could probably say it would be either a piece of genius appointing him, or just a disaster. As for Potter, I wouldn't be against that as he's a young modern day coach and could see him working well with Steidten, but his stock ain't that high now after the Chelsea disaster and with De Zerbi now doing better than he did with Brighton, I don't see us going for Potter, just seems too obvious."
Re: Moyes Out
I see that Will Still was at the game yesterday (fresh from a 0-3 defeat to PSG). Still has said that he wants to finish the season at Reims and I can't see Sullivan sacking Moyes anyway. Hopefully Steidten is in talks with potential replacements (inc Still) so you have to assume they had a chat over the weekend. For me I think Moyes's replacement will be Potter or Still.
Re: Moyes Out
"lowlife 4:10 Sun Nov 12 It's not true that Scamacca and Haller need to play as a two. Few teams play an out and out two. They just need the wide forwards and the number 10 playing closer to them. Our issue is that we move the ball slower than any other team I can remember, and usually its a laboured ball from right to left and back again. The annoying thing is we have some very good footballers so it has to be a combination of tactics and training. I think a forward thinking manager like a De Zerbi or an Emery would love to work with a midfield three of Alvarez, JWP and Paqueta, with Bowen, Kudus and a striker they'd likely have signed, and the results in terms of playing style would be significantly improved. I'm not having that Luiz, McGinn and Kamara, or Gilmour, Dahoud and Lallana or any other combination they field is much better than ours, or any better in fact. To add insult to injury of not getting the best from our attacking players is we're not even solid defensively now. Yes I know we scored three goals, but one was a gimme from them and two set pieces (of course). Its so drab to watch and we absolutely should expect better."

Re: Moyes Out
"The whole academy of football tag line needs to be binned. There is no way players such as Marshall, Mubama will get any kind of meaningful football whilst this dinosaur is on charge They might get 20 minutes if we win the europa league group and go into the Freiburg game assured of top spot hut apart from that they might aswell be searching for a loan deal in January whilst Moyes hunts around for his next victim who he can buy and ruin their career. I hope the stories are true that his contract won't be renewed. It's time for a change."

Re: Moyes Out
And.... we have the second oldest first team average age behind Fulham... Not a team for the future.. no youth players blooded. And Im sure I read that Moyes has given the lowest number of appearances for players under 21... I If that's not a reason to bin him as soon as possible I don't know what is...
Re: Moyes Out
"We won which was great. Unfortunately, it's never really very satisfying is it? Soucek playing so that he can compete for aerials alongside Bowen. He's also always back helping defend but his control and passing are abysmal for a multi-capped international. That's the frustration for me. Paqueta on the left wing to make space so that Soucek's aerial strength can be played to is the quality of tactics! That's why we only win from set piece goals or errors from the opposition! Moyes is here for the rest of the season now so we may as well just put up with it and support the club. I hope Sullivan sticks to not renewing Moyes contract now""¶"
