"""unless our form nosedives"" we lost twenty league games last season, we're conceding almost two goals a match (23) after thirteen games, conceding a total of 55 last season. this, with the cսnt still playing a defensive shit system that doesn't work"

"I am consistent. I want Moyes out, but it's not going to happen unless our form nosedives, so I accept we will have to wait until the end of the season. What is not deniable are Moyes' achievements. 6th, 7th and our first major trophy in his three full seasons in charge. People claiming we are on a downward trajectory under Moyes are just plain barmy."

Re: Moyes Out
"Russ, again you are not quite grasping the fact that Tottenham are historically one of the big clubs in England and thus they will always have an advantage over us when it comes to attracting players and managers. Even when they were down in the dumps in the late 80s and 90s they were still able to attract these players and managers. Despite how it worked out someone like Antonio Conte would never have left Inter Milan and taken the West Ham job a couple of years ago. We all love West Ham and think we are a huge club (and we are a big club) but outside of our bubble the majority of football fans, pundits & players don't think we are any bigger than Villa, Everton or Leeds etc. Going back to what I said previously. How come no other clubs outside the historically big clubs (Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool & Man Utd) apart from Chelsea & Man City who have both been owned by unlimited funds owners have been able to consistently finish in the top 5 and play regularly in the champions league? Of course we can finish 4th or 5th occasionally and we have gone close a couple of times under Bilic & Moyes but without a Saudi type takeover it's highly unlikely we will ever consistently finish in the top 5 and play in the Champions League."

Re: Moyes Out
"Side of Ham 2:46 Wed Nov 29 What an idiotic post. You Moyes Out zealots are deranged. Last season was a blip in the league but we still won our first major trophy for 43 years. The trajectory is undoubtedly upwards under Moyes. We are currently 9th in the league and have won more games this season than we have lost. And we are in the QFs of the League Cup. The delusion of some of our supporters is mental. Mods, lock it please."

Re: Moyes Out
"swindon hammer 2:47 Wed Nov 29 Well we'll have to agree to disagree. Because personally I think our performances and league positions should be much better and higher with our spend, regardless of owners. With a better and more progressive manager they would've been. And if you seriously think that West Ham, with its current ownership, attendances and status, cannot aim to do what Spurs have done under Levy, then I am afraid I think you are talking bollocks. There is absolutely no way any West Ham fan should be saying what Spurs have done under Levy is outside of our scope. No way."

Re: Moyes Out
"We need to buy the right players for how any new manager wants to play.....we also need it to be a squad of these players not just a team......I like the sorts of players we get, but I'd be more than happy with getting more of the Bowen/Cresswell types instead of going full on superstar shopping. This I think is achievable."

Re: Moyes Out
"Russ, My point is we are not thought of in the world of football as a big glamour club like Tottenham are and thus even if we have the same spending money as them we would struggle to attract the same players and managers that they do. So you saying at the very least we should be in the top 5 every season and regularly playing in the Champions league under our current ownership regardless of manager is complete pie in the sky. As I said before, if you take into account the historically big clubs over the past 40 years (Liverpool, Man Utd, Tottenham & Arsenal) then there are only 2 other clubs that have consistently finished in the top 5 and regularly played in the champions league and they are Man City & Chelsea."

Re: Moyes Out
"You need to look at the trajectory of the club under any managers tenure in the modern game as it's very unforgiving due to the money that is now spent. Think this is right.... 1st Season back - Kept us up just about or with a similar win rate as the bloke he replaced. 2nd Season - Got us into the Europa League 3rd Season - Got us into the Europa Conference by league position and the semi finals of the Europa League 4th Season - Won the Europa Conference which put us in the Europa League otherwise no European football. 5th Season - Not likely to qualify for Europe by League position and not likely to win the Europa League with it having some tough opponents we don't historically beat (Brighton/Liverpool for starters) likely in the later rounds. The harsh reality is that he's been our best manager in terms of getting us into the Europa League the first time but the rest has been on the back off some serious luck in who we get to play in Europe. We are now on a DOWNWARD trajectory.......a club that gets 60,000+ plus crowds needs his achievements to be the norm but he's not going to maintain it......shame......unless he performs an actual triumph in winning the Europa League beating proper opposition like he did with Seville & Lyon......imo that ain't going to happen due to his tactics and running our best 11 into the ground so that falter at the latter stages against clubs with better squad rotation......"

Re: Moyes Out
"Russ. I'm happy for everybody to get what they want. I'm pretty much a pragmatist with supporting West Ham though as it's been so painful down the years. I currently enjoy watching Paqueta and Kudus and Bowen a lot. The vibe where I am in the stadium is almost always good, Everton being the exception. The evening games are exceptional. It has a lot to do with winning in amongst a group who enjoy that kind of thing. I'd be ecstatic if we could add ma bit go Hollywood to it."

Re: Moyes Out
"russ, I don't care about right or wrong. I just want the players to be given an opportunity to express themselves, play in their correct positions and try to play on the front foot rather than anchored to the 18 yard line. as rossal saod, I struggle to think of a game since lyon where he's taken off the handbrake. no expects ninety minutes of excitement, just let the players play rather than this containment shit that he can't get away from"

"BRANDED 1:51 Wed Nov 29 That's fine for you if it works for you. I'm genuinely pleased that you have a good time at matches. Most of us do. But if that's your barometer then great, although why have you apparently spent ages on this thread arguing with supporters that want more than 'just having a good time'? Why are they wrong and your right?"

Re: Moyes Out
"swindon hammer 1:28 Tue Nov 28 What actually is your point? I've lost what it is that you are trying to argue. My point is, West Ham are capable of much more and, in my opinion, with Moyes at the helm, we'll not move forward. Spurs league positions under Levy are what we should be aiming for. I;m really not sure what you can disagree with?"
