"bell - Yea it's very irritating, but if he is off in Jan then maybe it's better to wait anyway. In the meantime we probably can wing it as we do have a few options up there."

"Les Ferdinand asked him last night about buying a striker in January. He's already rolling out the bullshit about how there aren't any about, and maybe Kudos could play the nine role. Fuck off David."

If you read two left feet's initial response - it might make more sense...

"brick lane - Why the fuck do I obviously disagree, all I've said (asked) is why you are making yourself sound like you're telling us all something new, what you have said gets said a dozen times a day on here. You said ''I mean it's hardly ground breaking, but it does feel sometimes on here that people don't understand this''. No fella, we all understand it, rest assured, but thanks for your wisdom and knowledge anyway. Anyway, like I say, I hope you manage to get through the day."

and just to be clear - if having us play a more possession based style where we move the ball quickly (on the floor) - vs the current style - and the trade off is finishing 11th/12th vs 7th or 8th - I would 100% be happy to make that sacrifice. Personally obviously

"Manuel 11:18 Fri Dec 8 I'm definitely not the authority on Moyes - it's all just personal opinion isn't it ? Do you disagree that tactics can impact how players perform - and vice versa? I mean it's hardly ground breaking, but it does feel sometimes on here that people don't understand this. Also - the thread is called Moyes Out - so chances are we are going to discuss our views on whether we want him in or out? You may agree, you may disagree (which you obviously do) - and no problem. I'm sure we've all watched football for a long time - my preference is not to see west ham play in Moyes passive style - Others may enjoy it. Is what it is"

"brick lane - Why are you posting as if you're some kind of authority on Moyes and how we play etc, and seemingly educating us? All you have said there is what gets said on here multiple times a day for a long time now, you daft sod. On another note, I hope you manager to get through the day OK, you sound like a right lemon. No offence."

twoleftfeet 10:43 Fri Dec 8 I've wanted him out for 2 years. I blame him 100% for the tactics applied - because he can't do it any other way. (see us attempt to play out from the back) - I've always held players accountable for their individual performances - but if you have any clue about football - player performance and tactics are not mutually exclusive. One is almost always affected by the other.

Fuck me how dense are you batty boy. Win a game - down to the players Lose a game - down to Moyes Ridiculous. When/if he leaves at the end of the season I'll be celebrating West Ham's greatest ever manager.

"I genuinely feel like we're winning in spite of Moyes, rather than because of Moyes. A lot of people who don't watch West Ham week in week out think I'm mad. When you look at the fact we've got 24 points and had one of our best starts ever - for me personally, It feels nothing like it. The longer he stays in charge, serving up a style which is quite frankly alien to what I grew up with - I'm falling out of love with watching football, never mind West Ham."

"I think he must have missed the first half.. Always a threat? ""I think it is a huge win to come here and win against this side,"" Moyes told BBC Radio 5 Live. ""I'm pleased with how we were resilient and diligent in our work, organised, defensively structured and we were always a threat as well."""

Nagel - has to be safety first.. But we went out second half one down.. So we did the opposite to when we're leading.. When we come out retreat further and concede..

"The two halves of the Spurs game showed up what many of us fault Moyes for. It's not the low possession, direct passing, counter attacking tactics so much as the extremely passive way he gets the team playing. First half showed how we usually play: bent over, just waiting for the other team to fuck us. Second half showed how we should always play: pressing from the front and closing down in numbers. There's more risk when you commit players rather than getting them all to retreat to your own half, but there's a hell of a lot more reward."

Nutsin never lets the facts get in the way of a good story. In 98/99 when we finished 5th we had 26 points after 15 games. We actually went one better in 21/22 with 27 points at that stage.
