Re: Moyes Out
If Moyes can keep getting results with these performances against the big 4 teams but also can change tactics and play more progressive football against the mid and lower table teams then I'd be happy for him to stay. The problem is its not going to work everyone and like a couple of seasons ago he has a habit of reverting to the low block in every game when things go badly and that is what the Moyes Out bunch recognise and despise.

Re: Moyes Out
Premier league net spend table the last 5 years: 1. Chelsea -673.62m 2. Man Utd -608.9m 8. West Ham -247.51m Oh and Ten Haag has had over 300m net spend just on the last 2 years alone which is probably enough to suggest they should be doing a lot better than us.
Re: Moyes Out
"""So in short, MOYES FUCKING OUT, one result doesn't change anything and that fucking bottle job at Liverpool is still fucking unforgiveable"" What you are saying is that one result does change things as long as we lose."
Re: Moyes Out
"swindon hammer 3:02 Fri Dec 29 Let's see where they are and where we are in 3-4 years time when they've had sustained backing like Moyes has, you point missing, shit town dwelling, sister fucking, non West Ham, country bumpkin busy fuckin simpleton cսnt."

"""It depresses me that some of our support can't seem to add up in their heads that spending a lot of money really does equate to better results. Moyes is proof of this""ù Maybe you should let Pochettino & Ten Hag know that."
Re: Moyes Out
"Changes nothing, get this cսnt out of my club. Who wants to watch that shit every week? Fuck that. All the fucking flip flopping idiots like this Dolph helmet have come crawling out the woodwork today following a decent result, completely unaware that playing like we do ensures that we only ever get the occasional win against big sides away from home, and completely fucking oblivious to our manager finally getting a win at the fucking SEVENTY THIRD ATTEMPT at playing the exact fucking same tactics every fucking time hoping that somehow it's going to magically work. Well he was right it did eventually work and it only took basically a decade to come off. Well done Moyes you fucking genius. It depresses me that some of our support can't seem to add up in their heads that spending a lot of money really does equate to better results, Moyes is proof of this. Yet despite all that money spent we have only a bare 12 or 13 serviceable players that can cut it. That's a fuckin disgrace as is the level of entertainment provided by his tactics that work once per decade. So in short, MOYES FUCKING OUT, one result doesn't change anything and that fucking bottle job at Liverpool is still fucking unforgiveable. So fuck off you clueless fucking cunts."

Re: Moyes Out
"The disrespect our best manager in several decades gets on here is unbelievable. People talk about him on here as if he's a pub manager. I think Allardyce was onto something with his ""Allardici""ù shit. Although not really applicable to him as he was suggesting. But if Moyes was say, a former Argentinian international, called Simeone, playing the same football and getting the same results, much fewer would be bitching. More than happy for Moyes to continue managing West Ham."

Re: Moyes Out
If Steidten doesn't get support in what he's trying to achieve at the club can see him leaving. Can't see him hanging around if Moyes gets another contract
Re: Moyes Out
"If Moyes has any sense he should "" cuddle up""ù with Steidten and hand most if not all transfer activity to him ( if that has not happened already ). Tim might just save his neck and give him options to play different ways. I'm not confident of it but it's possible even Moyes can improve possession, that is needed against some teams and in some games. We shall see soon enough over the next month. Can Moyes compromise a little? I think he tried last season with trying to be better at getting and keeping the ball and playing out rather than countering and direct diagonals etc but it failed and he reverted to what he knew gets points ( Moyesball ). If Steidten gets him better technicians and athletes in some positions he perhaps has the confidence to change it up sometimes ( rotate etc )? Like I say, evidence is not strong to say he will totally commit to morexofca pass and move game and to be fair just playing tippy tappy can also have its limits as Arsenal found out last night. The ""old horses for courses""ù argument. I am vociferous about the lines of Soucek playing every game because he does not possess the passing, control or pace to make it possible for us to be effective at playing thru a teams pressing etc but last night was a good fit for him. Not too much need for pace and being light in your feet as we played 85% of the game camped in and around our box and defending crosses, corners and last ditch blocks. Soucek made a big contribution with that and helped also with being in the right place on one of the 4 counters we made. But there will be games where we need a more technical player with speed. Same with Coufal and the CBs and to give a rest to Alvarez or Paqueta, Bowen All down to Steidten. If he comes close to the t by ems he picked up last summer it might just see Moyes be able to change things up tactically at times ?"
Re: Moyes Out
"Anyone wanting to give Moyes a new contract already should remember Fat Sam's last season, when we were 4th at Xmas and finished in 12th place. At least that experience means that Sully is unlikely to renew his contract before the summer."

Re: Moyes Out
Even in the so called wonderful days of past managers I cant think of too many times we went and pissed all over decent oppo' percentage wise... more ways to skin a cat... one of my fav games ever at Highbury was when Lyall done a job in 89... we defended superbly and caught them on the hop... a top Arsenal team... as it is now ... I imagine those Claret and Blues boys last nght would have been on the same absolute high as I and everyone else was in 89... dont think too many people last night were concerned about percentages... or touches in our box (kinky)... or shit shots blazed over the bar... exactly the same as the Bagels game... North London Barney Rubble?? Fuck yeah baby....

Re: Moyes Out
To play a team off the park you have to have a vast majority of the ball in your possession no?

Re: Moyes Out
All teams revert to the mean in the end. Moyes clearly enjoys the challenge of West Ham and is a proud man. He knows this is the best club he'll ever manage now and wants to make the very best of it. These are all things I like. I also like beating Man U and Arsenal at Christmas.

Re: Moyes Out
Well done aerosol lubricant - you have succeeded in totally missing the point again. But that's a real shit defence because it's not every day that a side will set up to attack and totally lack cutting edge like that. Here's a tip - get rid of the fawning ideology if you want to be taken seriously son.
Re: Moyes Out
Arsenal were absolutely woeful last night quote : of course they were! -a big slice of luck and some lucky goals like the 2nd one is how we won .. for fuck fuck sake! ... We played them off the park Bobby would have been proud of that defensive display last night . TAKE IT ON THE CHIN LADS ! you called it wrong on Moyes -and yes yes I was right I thank you Your time will come but right now why the hell would we want to get rid of him ? Improvement made by the club every 6 months on and off the pitch. Moyes has delivered on al fronts.

Re: Moyes Out
"First of all he is without doubt here until the summer and rightly so. There is a big difference between sacking him and not renewing his contract, I guess what it all comes down to is do the club, Steiden etc, want to take the club in another direction with a different brand of football etc, or are they OK with more of the same? If it's the former then he will likely be on his way. Without being privy to these convo's (assuming they have taken place) then it's hard to confidently predict, my gut feeling is they will want a change, but will it be somewhat of a gamble? Yep! The caveat is that Moyes wants to move on anyway, but that is probably unlikely."

Re: Moyes Out
It's almost as if they set up to make a Moyes side look like Champions' League winners.
