"Two, you are the one saying you walk your dog while we're playing. So I really don't know what you're referring to. Lucky wins, and the 0-5 and 1-5 are forgotten maybe? For you other two morons, noone takes you seriously here anyway so just keep abusing. That's what you know best."

"KD, serious question? Do you actually watch us play? In the last 4 games he has used the high press and the low block which is an A and a B plan. You need to watch more football and educate yourself."
Re: Moyes Out
"Half way through the season sitting in 6th place, still in Europe for 3rd season on trot, win a trophy for first time in 43 years and apparently its all down to luck.....why are spurs fans allowed to post on here?"

Re: Moyes Out
A brilliant voice from a supporter https://youtu.be/Xx--7A_K-7c?si=MFiPWpftnFswFlyW Like he says. Our style is luck. We have no depth. There is no plan B. It's not football
Re: Moyes Out
"True I guess but they need to realise that time is on their side... I watched the Sunderland game yesterday and both Alese and Ekwah had great games, Ekwah in particular held the whole Sunderland team together. It was Alese's first start of the season apparently? Not sure if he has been injured. I see that Ekwah is being linked to Palace. Apart from these two I can't think of any other who have left that have progressed more rapidly. Ashby hasn't achieved much, out on loan at Swansea but not playing much? Anyway, hopefully an attractive loan can be lined up for Marshall and a new contract signed."

Re: Moyes Out
"Colchester and Swindon, both at the arse end of League 2, apparently want Marshall on loan."
Re: Moyes Out
"ludo it's probably fan, social media wanting likes/hits but it would be quite clear to anyone that if Mubama can't get minutes and he's ahead of every other youth player it seems then why wouldn't a player want away. Several youth palyers around the country have achieved less but are playing regularly.in the PL. the next few games would be a wonderfull opportunity for some minutes to be gained by the likes of Orford,Scarles,Marshall and Earthy. According to Moyes we're not able to go higher than 6th so there is ample room to play some of these."
Re: Moyes Out
"Yes there's a few clubs interested in Callum Marshall on loan but WH want him signed longer term which seems to be beyond this year. He's reluctant to sign like a lot of our youth and it was reported in Belfast Telegraph and on Patreon (which is Ex WHUemployee) and Hammers Chat videos""¶"
Re: Moyes Out
Willtell 12:09 Tue Jan 2 Where has that come from about Marshall wanting away? He has only been here 2 mins and is in a team on a 16 match unbeaten run and he is scoring goals for fun... he only turned 19 5 weeks ago! Obviously the club need to sit down with him and his parents / agent and work out a realistic path for progression most likely a loan spell (Colchester mentioned)... he would kick himself though if he went out on loan and the U21s got to the Trophy final at Wembley in front of a big crowd and he missed out! Can see Marshall making his first team debut from the bench tonight.

Re: Moyes Out
"Manuel 3:51 Tue Jan 2 Playing progressive attacking football, and being in top six and latter stages of Europe is not too far a stretch. With the right manager it could be quite achievable with good recruitment and a proper philosophy around style of play and better Academy development. I mean, strangely, we are almost there now. If we maintain our league position, get through next round of EL and play an expansive and exciting 4-3-3 then Moyes has cracked it. But if we do move on, for me, Di Zerbi is the man. Look at what he's now doing with young players. Especially Ferguson and Buonatte. But in answer to your question about Sullivan, you keep Moyes. Moyes has given Sullivan no choice but to keep him. Problem is, the main reason for that will be that Moyes persistance in maintaining West Ham as a 'David fighting Goliath' club fits perfectly for Sullivan as he will always want expectations managed because if we do get out of our station and start competing properly then that comes with the 'put your hand in your pocket' demands."
Re: Moyes Out
"I can't help but feel that because the board decided to appoint Tim Steidten as Technical Director, and Mark Noble Sporting Director these appointments were to remove control of these areas of the job from Moyes. We can all see that we have a squad of around 14 players that get game time and the rest are just making up numbers. They can only be classed as failings by Moyes even though he bought them or should be coaching them to better standards. Youth team players don't even get look ins unless they cause a fuss about their contracts like Mubama and now goal scorer Callum Marshall. Apparently he wants away unless he sees a clear progression path. I suspect that the board appreciate that Moyes gets results but they see the dreadful football too. And they must be unhappy at the cost of Moyes falling out with non-favourite players which might be filled by a path to the first team for our youth players. I am hoping that the ""discussions"" that are due to start over a new contract for Moyes will be about how these problem areas of Moyes management style are addressed. Steidten and Noble need responsibility for their areas of activity while Moyes gets to spend all his time overseeing the coaching. I really hope this is what is happening because evolution is better than revolution which sacking Moyes would be..."

Re: Moyes Out
I want our press to be as determined as it was in that first season of his second stint. I'd like our better players to be able to express themselves in attacking mode more than defend and only use the 20% possession stat for the top teams away that are in form. I'd also like our top players to be managed better so squad rotation is used and finally a pathway for our youth teams better players into the first team to get a look at them possibly breaking through.

Re: Moyes Out
"In short, the majority would want a manager that plays attacking football, while maintaining a place near the top of the league and the latter stages of Europe. Nothing wrong with that, but you have to honestly ask yourself, in reality, if that would happen? it's possible, but also very possible that it wouldn't happen, so I suppose it all comes down to if you want to roll the dice or not and take what would pretty much be an unnecessary gamble. But ask yourself honestly, what you would do if you were Sullivan?"

Re: Moyes Out
"Sir Alf I get what your saying about neutrals and pundits not having to endure Moyes home and away 90 mins etc. BUT Although i get the argument about him not playing attractive football, sticking with the same small group of players, not plying youngsters etc but i bet a good portion of those wanting him gone at all costs would happily take a Mourinho or Conte based on their track record? What sort of football would those 2 high profile and highly successful manager play???? TBH, im not sure there is a manger out there that will keep everyone happy, heard some bloke on TS saying he would rather we go down but play attractive football, another laughable comment, firstly if we were fighting relegation, odds on he would be wanting the manager out as per usual, also did he not realize the kind of football they play in the championship, entertaining to be fair, but most teams employ the hoof and try and kick the shit out of the opposition for good portion of the time."
Re: Moyes Out
"Most pundits and self appointed experts probably not watching 90 mins of every game or paying 900 a year plus travel and time going to games. If you look at the results or scoreboard then yes Moyes, at this present moment ( that's they key word ) is doing a decent job and looking back at our league history and Premier league history ( apparently in the media's view football didn't exist before 1992 ) they will see we are doing better than ever. While we are top half and in most cups it's hard to make any strong ""Moyes out""ù case. But it's half way and things can change quickly. Also I think if we could see some signs that Moyes might develop how we play it might help but he defaults 90% of the time to his one tactical approach, picks same players, leaves 10 players out of the squad practically. I keep returning to Steidten and recruitment. I just hope he can steer us tge right way, get better players to compensate for Moyes limitations or effectively make it possible for the ultra conservative Moyes to see he can be more progressive and try to get the team got play more of an expansive game sometimes when possible. Having players with more technique and pace should make playing more of a pressing / possession game possible. I do think we lack that currently to play that way and yes because Moyes never recruited for that. Anyway, let's see where we are in Feb, brought 1 or 2 and our league placing, cup progress etc. I have doubts of course but maybe like I keep saying, Steidten can help Moyes be more than a ""one trick pony""ù ? I'm still on the Moyes out side longer term but can be convinced otherwise if some of the above happens. In other words, wooing to be wrong."

Re: Moyes Out
"""That's, just cowardly fear of progression"" Really???? Cowardice, FMOB, bit strong isnt it. Im with nychammer, unless you have an upgrade on? Moyes then can't see why he would lose his job or not get a new contract. Granted its always a risk and no certainty but unless we can get an Alonso or similar then why change for the sake of changing? See basically every pundit and Journo worth listening to, not to mention fans of other clubs who are perplexed as to why an element of West Ham fans are so vehemently against Moyes no matter what. Bizzare really!"
Re: Moyes Out
"I'm thinking ( dangerous ) that our future, more than ever, depends on the recruitment and the balance of power or roles in that process. If it's Steidtens data analytical based scouting and identification of players that largely drives the process, one of Moyes biggest weaknesses can be overcome. There is still an argument that he will never get the best from more technical or quality players but equally it could be said he would blend them with some more, what you might call honest players with great attitudes and work ethic. It's probably me employing wishful thinking but assuming he stays that could be a way forward. Get better technical quality, pace etc and he will even see we can play differently and evolve how we play in some games? Mind you renewing Soucek for 3 years tends to go against this but you need a squad, it's better he has a longer contract of ever Doms and he can do a great job in some games against teams where we go all out ""Alamo""ù defensive block"
Re: Moyes Out
"Ron - this is the problem yes - if not Moyes then who ? we've seen how this worked out before, signing a big name manager with great fanfare only to see him become such a misfit here. Huge Risk. How's it worked for Chelsea, Man U, Spurs (a few times in the past)?. Yes we could move on like Villa have but equally could be a relative disaster."

Re: Moyes Out
On 606 yesterday both Robbie Savage and Chris Sutton said DM was one of the top 3 managers of a premiership side over the last calendar year. Not sure anyone else could better that at West Ham. Remember how we ended up after getting rid of DM the first time. The grass is not always greener.

Re: Moyes Out
"On talksport some bloke would rather we play ""beautiful football"" than stay up? so was a Moyes out supporter. Do people realize the kind of football they play in the championship? Having seen a few games its entertaining to be fair but pretty brutal as well, as to beautiful football, FMOB!!! and they talk about the PL being the toughest league in the world, i would actually argue it's the Championship, 46 games against some real cloggers teams who will try and kick the shit out of you. Anyway just found it on YT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_rhV4f5_zU"
