"twoleftfeetandnospine 8:04 Sun Feb 11 But Soucek is your hero's favourite player and as he can do no wrong, you surely also want Soucek on the pitch? He simply has to be sacked. No Premier League team should lose by six goals to another. What's worse is six flattered us. How can he get away with that?"

"7 games without Paqueta, 0 wins. 4 scored, 14 conceded. Couldn't honestly even say that today was a surprise. If you play every week with less than 30% of the ball then you're going to come up against people who take their chances every now and then, and when they do you'll get fucking annihilated. Truth is that in the game at theirs, they had more possession, more shots and more touches in our box than they did today. Us winning was nothing less than a miracle, an aberration, which is why it was the first time in 75 attempts that jockosaurus had beaten anyone decent. The pretence that today was a shock, and somehow different to how we play every single week, is a bit weird."

"He should have gone after the final in my opinion. He won't go now but I can't see his contract being renewed so until then we will just have to get on with it. We need Paqueta back and for Soucek to get a season ending injury, Zouma is finished, might as well play Ogbonna."

We set up not to concede... I thought playing more conservatively unlike last week would mean we wouldn't lose 3-0 I suppose they were right... Biggest home defeat in my lifetime.. At least it proves it was worth throwing the cup for the league

Sullivan is laughing his cock off.! He's got the fans money. The Premiership money. Any profit from players sales. And the media's backing. Who will inform all and sundry. How fortunate we are. And should be grateful for his ownership. Does anyone honestly think. This will end. When Moyes leaves.?

Sack that fucking cսnt right now. Absolutely embarrassing performance and it's been coming for weeks. Set up to park the bus and still concede six goals. Play a fucking fight back on the left wing because you're sold all our attackers and not bothered replacing them and retained a lop sided tiny fucking squad To see that never even needed lardy has been seven million quid costing piece of shit come on at half time instead of someone that could actually make a material difference because there is no one thanks to him selling them or ruining their confidence sums this shit up. Went down without a fucking whimper. Inexcusable. Fuck off Moyes. If Sullivan had anything about him he'd get rid. I don't even care who comes in. At least most shithouse donkey managers who played for 0-0 would have made it hard for them to score.

There's only one chairman in the league that wouldn't sack their manager after the results and performances this year Unfortunately he's our chairman

if not now then when? This season's league campaign is done. All out chips are on Europa. We're safe. Time to get a new man in and build for next season. We don't need to wait for the summer.

"Looking at the league table, barring a complete fall off we are very likely to finish top half, let's say we progress to say the SF of Europe - I fear that may be enough to give Moyes, be careful what you wish, for supporters in the media and Sullivan just cause that he deserves an extension?"

The north London propaganda machine always defend incompetent west ham United managers and boards . I remember in early 97 how they piled into defend brown against Michael tabor . Suddenly the invisible man brown was writing articles in the London evening standard . Literally everything tabor said what was going to happen eventually did . That Ferdinand and lampard were going to be sold to fund the expansion of Upton park . It was then that the plastics overtook us . Bates and Harding detested each other but bates put the club first and let Harding invest . Brown did the complete opposite despite tabor being far richer than Harding . Yet another sliding doors moment at our club .

"Forget any biases or whether you're Moyes in or out, also forget the style of football, a few weeks ago we were breathing down the yids necks, today we're lucky not to be 9th. I'm fed up being fed up watching us, it's literally a drain. Watched 3 games today ( raining) and the commentary team get excited about the football in every one, in our games they're telling the audience about what things they have scheduled. Fucking joke he's got anyone defending him."

See Arteta is putting his oar in - seems there's a real push to keep Moyes in the job.

Loyalty rewards by the noard to manager are what have made us immune to any sort of sustainable progress over the years. Fans know whats wrong many many months before the board do

I agree Willtell but putting the entertainment aspect aside. I am open to hearing the case for Moyes should we regress this season and not make Europe because that currently looks the most likely scenario. Is the pro Moyes argument? 1) Another coach might risk going back even further and struggling again and Moyes should mean no relegation struggle? 2) 3 European qualifications and a cup means he deserves 3 attempts more ( or 2 if he daiks this season ) as some kind of loyalty reward 3) He needs the chance of another season to evolve our play as tyr existing approach is looking tired and ineffective? None of the above seems a strong argument in his favour as the risk of losing the good players we have greatly increases if we dknt make Europe But i may he missing something and a pro Moyes argument that is compelling? Please enlighten me / us ?

"This is the problem isn't it? Moyes has improved results but ruined entertainment value. Moyes also slows down the acquisition of players to what suits HIS non-possession based football. This has been demonstrated where we have moved on 3 attacking type midfielders and signed just one DM. He won't buy a desperately needed striker because there are virtually none that are prepared to ""feed off scraps""ù while defending from the front. So we have almost 3 seasons with Antonio our only striker. Now Moyes seems to be ruining Bowen and Paqueta by playing them out of position like he did with Benrahma and Fornals. Now our only LW forward is Cornet yet Moyes has avoided playing him for a couple of seasons after paying ¬£17.5m for him! It's not just the poor quality football. Moyes knows he could never survive as an attacking coach. That makes him a very poor manager recruiting and playing to his strengths as a defensive coach rather than grow West Ham further above his limited level."

"I guess we need to wait 6 or so weeks to have this discussion again. My reasoning is that we are told European qualification and winking a cup is the measure if Moyes success? If he fails to qualify this season we've regressed haven't we? I'm not factoring in playing style as those that argue its his success results wise we should not take lightly nothin else? I'm open to be convinced. Can a Moyes supporter articulate why not making Europe this season is not going backwards or a failure. And as Side points out, not qualifying would arguably see the overall downward trend continue? We may find some form again but if we dont and end up say 9th. Are his supporters saying he deserves another 1 or 2 or 3 seasons ? Would we lose our best players if we are not in Europe ? Would they be more likely to stay if a more progressive manager comes in? Rationale required for keeping him if we dont qualify for Europe please? As Im saying he probably keeps his job if he does keep us in the European places *** awaits reasoned response ;-) ***"
