"If anyone is bored enough to compile some stats on A) in which game have we had more possession then the opponents, and B) in which game have we had more shots and on target then the opponents. My one guess is just Luton away."

"As much as it was great to celebrate winning the Cup against mostly 2nd/3rd rate Clubs last season, even the Final he had to rely on West Ham Fans carving open Fiorentina's Captains nut who then went on to have a stinker of a game, for understandable reasons. It certainly weren't because of a so-called Moyes Masterclass as some kind of tactical genius. I still say we won that Cup in spite of him, not so much because of his tactical nous and expertise as a top quality managerm. He got lucky to rock back up as WHU manager just as they introduced the ECL."

Insane indeed. I reckon that if he was head coach at the 49ers when Lance and Garoppolo got injured he'd have put CMC in at QB rather than Purdy. That's how mental this absolute frauds team selections are.

"I've always regarded the 'Football' (use that term very loosely) Moyes plays as Ceefax Football. You generally wouldn't want to watch it and prefer to just check in at the end for the result hoping for the best. Sometimes you'd think, fuck me he's only gone and pulled off a result there, but to watch through it all usually makes your eyes bleed. And like Ceefax, Moyes' footballing philosophy is seriously outdated. I want to enjoy watching my Football again Sullivan, you tight fisted, blinkered wanker. Fancy setting up with 7 defenders (again), only to concede 6 cunting goals at Home anyway! The silly cսnt even brought 3 defensive players on whilst leaving all 3 of our Strikers left on the bench. Geezer's insane."

"Keep dreaming 3:32 Mon Feb 12 It's just mental. We are in a better place now. Well, fucking yeah, we are, because last year we nearly got relegated because Moyes couldn't get the players to perform. I mean, it's a bit like saying I'm in a better place now because last year I used to beat up my wife and I don't do that anymore. Like, fucking, well done... I think."

"Hmmm Steinberg reports: According to The Guardian reporter, West Ham turned their nose up at the opportunity to appoint everybody's favourite Australian, Ange Postecoglou, prior to his arrival across the capital at Tottenham Hotspur. Writing on his X account (Twitter, to you or I), the respected journalist said: 'West Ham didn't fancy going for Postecoglou last year - only managed Celtic, no PL experience, too much of a risk etc etc. The kind of thinking that makes you question the vision at the club.'"

"This cսnt is currently cupping his ear, the man doesn't care. We are lucky to have him, we have never had it so good. Unfortunately Moyes always seems to get a result when he needs one to relieve the pressure a bit so i would expect a win and a couple draws over the next few games."

"I wonder who plays left wing against Nottingham Forest? The left wing situation has got as desperate as the striker situation (which we all seem to be numb to now). We've got 1 striker in Ings who he won't play, and 1 left winger in Cornet who he won't play. He's rather shoehorn in players who have barely played there instead."

"Picking the same line up and tactics repeatedly is mental. He's either deluded, stubborn or just picks his favourites - probably all 3. I don't understand how you can have a left winger on bench, and then put a right back in that position. It's fucking insane. I can't think of any other managers that would do that. Fuck knows what that does to team spirit. It won't be a positive impact. Imagine turning up for work and your boss keeps praising someone who is shit and consistently underperforms - even though their standards are low. Can't wait until he goes."

"Lee Trundle 5:29 Yup, it's terrible lazy soundbites from people who don't actually watch the games, but just check the results column and the league table. And of course wanting us to 'know our place'."

Maybe a co-ordinated blow out the first team matches for a month and go watch the stiffs/yoot instead might send the right message - fans will watch a proper team properly managed.

"I hate this cսnt with a passion. Please put, him, the players and all of us out of our misery. 5-0 at Fulham 5-0 at Liverpool reserves Out the FA cup to a lower league side 3-0 to a shit Man U 6-0 to Arsenal Shit draws with Sheffield United Needing a lucky pen for a point to Bournemouth who battered us, no wins in 7, clueless lop sided team selections, negligence in the transfer window, an incredible aptitude for ruining players confidence. But we all have to be thankful because we win a third rate trophy against a bunch of pub teams. Board are cunts, Moyes is a cսnt."

"C and H ( yeah i know ) suggesting Moyes might walk if fan unrest continues or increases? Might be nonsense and just bravado from Moyes ? But i think it suggests that fans need to keep the pressure on if, as expected, things dont improve. Sullivans default is usually to do nothing, wait and wait hoping results improve and he can do nothing by retaining Moyes. He is paralysed by fear because his track record on managers and coaches is rank failure for the most part. Old tired men he picks on past reputation. That brings us to Steidten? Whats his role? Just recruitment of players or wider DOF or Tech director? Totally unclear. Looks like Sullivan has taken the cowards approach and does what never works""¶. ""Management by committee""ù. . Not everyone agrees on targets and we get no one in January woukd be the kind of thing that happens ""¶ oh ""¶"

His defenders are becoming harder and harder to find . Even on kumb . Irish Tommy as usual hit the hammer on the nail . With his comments on claret and booze last night . About how Moyes is going to ruin kudus like he did fornals . It's proper negligence on the boards behalf in allowing this bollocks to continue.

"goose 2:36 Maybe the case, but to me, it's just a bit occam's razor that that has to be the case, given how Moyes' weird behavious is toward certain signings, and it almost always lines up with the players you'd pinpoint as 'Sullivan buys' before they've even kicked a ball. And Moyes is hardly going to bite the hand that feeds by outing his boss publicly and saying 'Well I didn't want him but the owner went over my head' as that's a one way ticket to the dole queue, especially with someone as prideful as Sullivan. It also of course instantly tells the player he's not wanted. Even Moyes isn't that stubborn and stupid, but whether I'm wrong or not, (and I may be) I absolutely believe that certain players have been forced upon him and other managers under Sullivan's tenure. If the manager wanted the player and they fit into his 'vision' then it would make zero sense to just not play them. You'd have done the most basic checks on their strengths, weaknesses and temperment. There just can't be ANY way on earth Moyes actually wanted Cornet or Ings, for example, or he wouldn't have him on the bench as healthy scratches while playing others out of position in their actual positions. There's just too much of a pattern with players he almost certainly chose vs players he almost certainly didn't, or who were at the club before he arrived. And it wouldn't be so bad if they were still just Sullivan's harmless cheap punts like in the past which he freely admitted to doing, but when they are costing 15-20 million or 100k a week it's madness. The guy thinks because Zarate was good at Birmingham that he's a top talent spotter. He's also gone on record in the past as saying the players he chose were all successes, (he did this in the early days of Issa Diop when he did look ok, namechecking him and a few others) while the players he didn't were not. But I absolutely agree with your point that Moyes should be doing far far more with what he's got at his disposal, and his stubbornness to use or not use certain players (regardless of whether he wanted them or not) and how he approaches games is a huge detriment to how the team functions and performs. I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that half the other managers in the division could get a much better tune from the squad and use the players far more effectively with a much better and more dynamic gameplan. Anyway, maybe we agree to disagree with all that, but I just hope that at the end of the season one side of the problem resolves itself, but I feel the other side will always be there as long as the current ownership model remains and the owner can't resist sticking his mitts in the transfer strategy."

"Up until now I have gone along with the rubbish performances, weird substitutions, negative tactics, based on results. No-one can argue that we are now in a better position regarding results.... up until Christmas. Since then we have had all of the above, coupled with disastrous losses and scraped draws with fucking Bournemouth and Sheffield United! The question is, now the results have faded, what does Moyes bring? He has ruined countless players (Fornals being the last straw in my opinion but Benrhama, Ings, Scamaca, Haller are included in this), he plays a fucking right back on the left wing when we have Cornet, who hasn't had a look-in and can also play defensive if thats what is needed against Saka, Ings, who before he came to us was in the England squad, again never gets a game. Why on earth bring on Cresswell? His mis-management of players is appalling - he plays 8 defensive players and we can't defend! I think the only thing Sullivan can be accused of is not pulling the trigger on him, we have spent loads of £££ on players in the last few years but Moyes cannot get a tune out of 'em! And how on earth we have gne so long without a striker at the club that plays regularly is anyone's guess. Bollocks"
