Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"Must admit the general media and this campaign of ""Moyes is the best West Ham could ever hope for"", ""how dare they leave at half time"" and ""look at the table and still in Europe"" etc etc is clearly those that dont watch of our play. Those of us that go and watch us regularly will see the same pattern of play, same formation, same tactics and same picking of favourites that has gone on for over 2 years now. Just with the addition of Paqueta and Kudus helping us win the games where we held on, somehow, until we nicked one. Like others have said before, Moyes knows this is his last big job, so will be the puppet he needs to be to hang on for as long as he can. Problem for him is it has pretty much ruined his legacy of winning something. If he had an ounce of pride, he'd organize a pay off with the midget and walk. Not that he will."

"that john cross article makes me wonder why people actually watch football. oh no, not a sense of risk and reward. how horrifying. people talk about west ham like we all just turn up hoping for some kind of job stability so we can keep our head down and get our pension at the end of it."

Re: Moyes Out
"I've just read an article in Express by an idiot called John Cross. He writes ""But they do want more expansive football. With that comes risk and defeats, fewer guarantees of mid-table security but some memorable wins. Moyes is a brilliant football manager who deserves respect. It is hard to see West Ham making a managerial upgrade. Whoever comes next will be a gamble compared to Moyes' guarantees."" Who is this idiot? Firstly he has fallen for the smoke and mirrors that because Moyes has lasted a long time he's the best that WH can expect. He hasn't noticed that WH have moved on and are now ""massive"". Secondly, he feels that all we can expect is mid-table security. Never mind that WH are the 17th richest club in Europe and enjoy average gates of 63000 every game. He still thinks we are yo-yo West Ham of old because with David Sullivan as Chairman it is the small time image that is generated. Finally, Moyes is ""brilliant"" is what John Cross thinks! Is he? I see a manager that sets us up to defend but the back four (that he bought can't defend. He plays a substitute RB at left wing. He bought a left winger (Cornet £17.5m) that he never plays unless forced to by injuries. We have needed a striker since Jan 2022 yet all the ones we had like AFCON winner Seb Haller and Scamacca (Italy International) were sold for half what we paid for them to get rid. Moyes bought Danny Ings who couldn't score in a brothel. Apparently in January we were offered Zaha on the cheap from his Turkish club but Moyes rejected him.. Moyes was losing 0-4 at half time so how would a ""brilliant"" manager change things for the better having 8 on field defenders and only 2 attackers on the pitch? Easy. A CB for another CB and a DM for another DM but same formation. And then later a LB for a slower LB. It's that kind of brilliance that shows My Cross Daily Express writer is a complete idiot that thinks WH fans are just deluded fools that don't know their football. It's a popular view from the pundits that really don't see what fans see week in and week out. We won a cup not because of Moyes but in spite of Moyes....."

Re: Moyes Out
"When he signed Phillips he said: ""Lets hope he can help us out a bit the same way that Jesse Lingard did when he came in"" Couple of things about that sentence alone should have meant him getting sacked, never mind his woeful performance since we last won a game back in December. Firstly, we were 6th at the time and instead of ""helping us out a bit"" surely he should of been trying to sign players to not only keep us there but actually have a go at moving upwards and forwards. But no, help us out a bit FFS Secondly, still harking on about fucking Lingard. That was 3 years ago you prick. He didn't join us, its not going to happen, ever. The game has moved on from even 3 years ago never mind your fucking palaeolithic fucking tactics. Sack him now, please"

Re: Moyes Out
"onsideman 1:05 Tue Feb 13 You've named 3 players that were on their books when he took over, and you've named 3 for us who I would argue are just as good, if not better. He didn't sign anyone or start the clear out when he first took over and they went on a fantastic run. Areola, Mavropanos, Emerson, Alvarez, JWP, Bowen, Kudus, Paqueta can all play football, individually they are/can be excellent players who can play attacking football. Even Aguerd, Phillips and Johnson would be able to do it, they're are not completely shit footballers, and they'd all walk in to many other teams in the league. We're not talking playing like Man City ffs, just better than being the WORST footballing team in the league. only an idiot would think those players could not play in another style."

Re: Moyes Out
Watched Forest against Newcastle and thought defeat was harsh on them. Should have had a pen at 2-2 A bit shaky at the back and were missing Chris Wood who has been in good form but they looked committed and had some pace and energy with Elanga and Hudson-Odoi Gibbs-White is very talented and has a real spark about him (could start a fight in a phone box) which I like Mentioned earlier he should have got a second yellow but will play and not sure Soucek or JWP will get near him
Re: Moyes Out
"Russ - It's a fucking horrible way to be and feel but I said the same Sunday, I was desperate not to lose to those smug cunts.. But when we went 2 down I wanted them to make it look bad.. I was fucked off when they did... But hoped it would help us get rid."

Re: Moyes Out
I think we will beat Forest. There will be a reaction from the players and even Moyes might have a bit of a reality check. Fabianski to play left wing.
Re: Moyes Out
"Eerie Descent 11:39 Tue Feb 13 I wouldn't say it's a cliche Villa's new manager has indeed brought the best out of players like Bailey, Kamara and Luiz and has transformed McGinn and he's supplemented them with some shrewd signings like Diaby. He's also got rid of highly paid underperformers like Coutinho and (as we know) Danny fucking Ings as well as shite like Callum Chambers, and he coaches them well. He already had a very good keeper, and a very good centre forward However we have the smallest and oldest squad in the league and outside of Bowen, Pacqueta and Kudus I don't see many there capable of playing the game with any tempo. How many of our starting 11 on Sunday do you think could step up?"
Re: Moyes Out
"What really boils my piss is when peoples response is ""well who would you bring in?""ù Like it's some kind of reasoning to keep him. Let's be clear, managers all over the world would give a right arm for this fucking job. Well paid Based in London Financially secure Top half PL squad which has had about ¬£450m invested in it Etc Etc"

Re: Moyes Out
"Manuel 12:49 Tue Feb 13 If Forest score first it could get nasty. And brutally honest, if they do score first, and go on to win the game, I hope they get a bag full. Its the only way we can rid the club of the toxic Jock. And another bag full conceded may also finally open everyone's eyes to the truth."
Re: Moyes Out
"stewie griffin 12:43 Tue Feb 13 I've pointed that out to a few people who have been taking the piss as well. The picture being banded around shows a handful of people leaving across the bridge but the big crowd is fenced in and isn't going anywhere. It's always like that as they open those turnstyles up at HT so people can stand outside to have a drink/smoke/food but they cant get out they have to go back in, you can see the fences in the picture keeping everyone in....but why let the truth get in the way of good story?!"
Re: Moyes Out
If Moyes is given a new contract we will be in a relegation battle next season i cant see anyway that we wont be. Personally i would keep him here until we are knocked out of Europe then get rid immediately.

Re: Moyes Out
"Sutton is low-level pundit format - he isn't there to say anything interesting or insightful. He's got to hit the average-audience spot and be a name people recognise (just about). And let's face it, he's not going to say anything we would rather be hearing at this stage of play. Anyway, I see Forest really need the points so I reckon they won't be interested in keeping Moyes in his job as much as others might be."

Re: Moyes Out
"Russ of the BML 12:41 Tue Feb 13 Yea feel the same way, Forest go for it in terms of pacey attacking football and Awoniyi can finish, couple that with their vibrant crowd close to the pitch and our lack of form/confidence, I smell another defeat."
Re: Moyes Out
"Could easily see us get no more than a point from Forest, Brentford and Everton. I'd like to think that would be enough to see him gone. No win in months, two more defeats and Moyes finished. But knowing Sullivan he'd give him the Burnley game. Could be quite circular if Burnley is Moyes last moment...have that earmarked as the first game to take my 6 year old son too as things stand. But it's the Burnley game I fear...I think we'll beat them, and that might be enough (ridiculously) to save Moyes. |Time will tell."

Re: Moyes Out
"tbh most of the pundit commentary about people leaving has amused me; they've made fools of themselves and don't even realise it, because that's how rarely they watch us, or go to that absolute shithole. The numbers actually leaving were relatively small based on the footage attached to the headlines. There's a huge throng outside by the overpriced cսnt food outlets, because there always is. They might want to ponder why it is they don't know this. My guess is (a) because we have the worst stadium in the league and they don't like going there, and (b) because we are the most boring team in the league so they don't like going there."

Re: Moyes Out
"goose 12:34 Tue Feb 13 They got beat at weekend. But unlucky. And i was impressed with their front men in Gibb's-White and Awoniyi. Both powerful and direct and link up well. Neither are top level and they do bring a bit of the Championship to the Premier League, but they caused Newcastle lots of problems. And with Hudson-Adoi and Alanga buzzing about them they will cause us problems. And the the fact that we cannot defend and look like a team of strangers, it doesn't bode well. In fact, if Forest play like they did against Newcastle they will beat us easily."
Re: Moyes Out
"It has sadly got to the point where losing to Forest, Brentford, Everton and Burnley might just be in our best interests in the long term. Every chance we will whether we want to or not in all honesty. I'm so disengaged, I actually couldn't give a shit right now."
