"""Tuchel would be a big name signing for us"" Didn't worked well last time we went for a big name signing. Are these 'big names' only successful if they inherit a top level squad and are given a massive transfer budget?"

"Two tight fuckers unfortunately PB. Sullivan sees it as a personal failure if he has to get rid of any manager. He's also loathe to pay anyone off, and Moyes will not walk early without getting a payout. That's why Sullivan will always leak the ""òhe's got three/four games' knowing that the likelihood his will win one, and he can keep his money in his pocket. The only thing Sullivan truly fears is relegation, and as we've avoid it that for another season, he's under no real pressure to make a change."

"At 75 years old, you have to wonder what the Soviet Dwarf actually wants. If we're successful he earns more. What good are we to a fella in the twilight of his life surviving and playing football that would bore a patient in a permanent coma? Why are the media pro-Palace being ambitious and West Ham treading water? They're always playing us down, too. And last but not least, why hasn't the curmudgeon Scot decided for retain some dignity and fuck off for pastures new? His stock is perceived to be high, so it's not as if he'll never get a job in top-flight football."

Tuchel would be my number 1 choice personally. You don't turn down champions league winners and someone who has competed at the top end of every league he has managed in. The reason he is on the brink at Bayern is because Leverkusen are having a once in a generation season and Alonso is showing his worth to potential suitors such as Liverpool. Tuchel would be a big name signing for us and someone of his calibre would allow us to not only attract big names but he could be the manager needed to keep the likes of Bowen and Paqueta around. He worked wonders at Chelsea considering Todd Boehely was playing cheat mode football manager for a while.

"My take on Tuchel, is if you've managed Dortmund, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern, along with winning the Champions League and numerous leagues and cups, then you must have something about you."

"Riems have drifted a little in Lge 1 but are still comfortably top half which is remarkable given their budget... currently ahead of Marseille. I haven't watched them so I have no idea what Will Still's style of play is but he should at least be being looked at by TS. The Ipswich manager obviously as well and Gary O'Neil. Not sure about Tuchel, I would rather we went in the young English direction but if Tuchel has a good relationship with TS then that could work."

"First and foremost we need a 'coach' someone who is willing to work with TS. That rules out any bigshot twats. I don't know if he is one of those but I would imagine that rules out Lopetegui (who I don't think fits the bill anyway). Personally I would be happy to see a young progressive manager like Russell Martin or Nathan Manning. I'm sure there are plenty of others out there they are just two on my radar. Martin has worked wonders at Southampton and has got the best out of Downes. Manning obviously worked in our youth setup so, you would imagine, would be well placed to develop and integrate our U21s where possible. Obviously a big step up from the Championship but they both play football the right way and I'm fairly sure that a chimp could get out team playing better than Moyes at present. No way that Martin would be tempted to leave now though which is a shame as three months this season with little pressure for results would be ideal. It could very easily be a very exciting next 2-3 years ahead of us if the next few months are handled properly. Very big IF though."

I think the fallout with TS and Nobes over the striker they wanted to sign and Moyes didn't and we ended up getting no one will be is undoing

He left honourably a year early last season before his contract ran out over differences with the shape up of the Squad.. https://www.getfootballnewsgermany.com/2023/the-reasons-behind-oliver-glasner-and-eintracht-frankfurts-separation/ If only Moyes was built the same way. *Sigh*

"Lowlife 1:23 Tue Feb 20 Re: Moyes Out I remember at the start of last season, when we were truly shit, he came out with ""we're trying to play a more attacking game""ù. This is why Warburton was hired - the issue was, Moyes is so stuck in his ways - I think he found it difficult to subscribe to Warburtons way of thinking /style. I think Moyes thought Areola squaring the ball to Aguerd - for him to them lump down field - was playing out from the back. Warburton would've disagreed - hence his departure in the summer. Moyes , in his head - would've been thinking - well we tried Warburtons way - and all it did was yield 20 losses - what we need to do is go back to my successful way of playing - and we've won a trophy doing so - so I can't feasibly be wrong"

"Moyes will soon need to change the diatribe as his stats are slipping https://www.westhamstats.info/westham.php?west=M&fbclid=IwAR3BNPq9XDa5Endl0uhGPc6XOMUTQ-6F5K4IIS9671wuLdbVboCVxinQYRg Not sure how the success factor is calculated but his win % for all league games inc tier 2 is now 6th behind Bonds, Pardew and Lyall... still top of Prem stats so hes gonna have to specify Top of the Prem win stats. He's even behind Bonds now on all game wins... so the sap needs to be careful hes not pulled up on that in his next interview."

"I remember at the start of last season, when we were truly shit, he came out with ""we're trying to play a more attacking game""ù. Which was absolute bullshit of course. He has no clue on how to play an attacking game and put his shortcomings, which he'd never admit to, down to a change in style. This then gave him the perfect opportunity to be even more defensive to ""òsave West Ham from relegation'. I did see some Moyes in people saying that if he goes, and they don't want him to, they'd like to see someone with PL experience taking over. They then mentioned Roy Hodgson. They weren't joking either. Unbelievable."
