"You also forgot the hammerings at Fulham, Liverpool and Villa as well, Boleyn. Thank fuck Moyes keeps lucking out with getting predominantly easy ties in Europe."

Re: Moyes Out
"How much fucking worse does it have to get before he gets the tin-tack. Well, going out of the FA Cup to Bristol City, drawing with Sheffield United and losing to Manchester United, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest by a combined aggregate of 11-0 is bad enough and next up is Brentford who have won all 5 against us since they came up and last season we didn't score a goal against them. So yes, in answer to my own question, it can get worse. Lets hope we score so we can celebrate our very own 'Month of the Goal'"

Re: Moyes Out
"I know that a lot of people here are miserable sods who always expect the worst, but the idea that Moyes was going to get a new contract any time soon was NEVER really on the cards. Sullivan has been on record many times as saying that he doesn't believe in renewing manager contracts until the end of the season. We've been in this situation before with Allardyce, who had us in 4th place at Xmas, but still wasn't offered a new contract. And given how we dropped like a stone and finished 12th I'm sure that Sullivan could see history repeating itself and was never inclined to even think about offering Moyes a new contract until he could see how things ended up. Even more so because it's guaranteed that no bigger club than us would ever be after him so why would he hurry it?"

Re: Moyes Out
"Sullivan is watching what we're watching, say what you want about him but surely he can't be thinking Moyes can turn this around? Who knows what is going on behind the scenes, so many different variables at play at this point, Streiden and still in Europe are two of them. if he is just letting him run down his contract and writing off the season this early then that is pure neglect and with the second biggest attendances in England he can't be allowed to get away with that."

"Willtell 12:14 Wed Feb 21 ""I had heard from a contact"" Planning on rivalling grasshopper, Willtell?"
Re: Moyes Out
"If Jim White and media pundits are still backing Moyes, its likely that is the Sullivan view too. Whetstone supposedly told ""better the devil you know""ù. Kretinsky and Gold family want change perhaps since Whetstone also getting conflicting stories that Moyes is on thin ice? Someone with a brain needs to look at league form for tge last 2 years and tge investment levels. If staying up was the measure, Moyes succeeded otherwise its abject failure. Of course Sullivan is ""razzle dazzle""ù and would see the Conference win, where we played a team just in the top 8 of the Italian league and beat similar from weaker leagues as justification to keep a man that is failing. Sullivan keeps him because he's easy to control and sucks up to him just like he would prefer transfer dealings via a few agent cronies. They all make Sullivan feel important and the ""big man""ù to compensate for his lifetime suffering as a little man. Im convinced 1 win and Moyes gets his contract"
Re: Moyes Out
"C&H are saying this morning and last night, that ""West Ham""òs second biggest shareholder Daniel Kretinsky is again rumoured to be generally unhappy about the way the Irons is being run"" writes Sean Whetstone. I'm not at all surprised to read this. I had heard from a contact that the Gold family, were increasingly siding with Kretinsky's wishes to run WHU properly. The result was that Steidten was appointed at Kretinsky's prompting. That was done because it wasn't good business for all the shareholders to rely on the continuing good health and sound judgement of a 75 year with enormous business activities away from WHU. It wasn't done because Sullivan is shit at it and prone to knee-jerk decisions on signings but I suspect that was what it was about as well..."

Re: Moyes Out
"He will win 1 game in the next 4 and be offered a new contract. The Germans will leave in the summer , as will the Brazilian and kudus . Moyes will blow the money on. Kalvin Phillips ,maguire and some other cսnt . Crowd will be coining the board again come November"
Re: Moyes Out
"Why is he still here. This is dithering from Sullivan in the extreme. At the moment our season is salvageable. We are not too far down the league and still in Europe. We have some half decent players that a good manager, playing them to their strengths, should get a tune out of. This should be reasonably attractive to a decent manager. What will likely happen is, hanging on the end of the season, losing the better players, having no prospect of Europe, and then not being attractive to a one of the better managers, especially when they have to work with Sullivan, ending up with another one we want to get rid of shortly."

Re: Moyes Out
"""Hmmm if true wtf is Sullivan, Kretinsky and Golds playing at?"" Alfs, i dont think Gold can take any of the blame for the current situation....................LOL and RIP! But do agree, it really anyone guess what the living in charge of WH are up too? YouTube channels having a field day with click bait titles, rumors and speculation often completely contradicting each other."
Re: Moyes Out
"I despair - the stuff being leaked to old hugh reeks of a boardroom without a clue. Even talking about Sullivan taking over recruitment again with his favourite agents. What a sad, sad situation for our club. Nothing will change until Sullivan and Brady depart - christ knows what this czech fella's end game is but surely he must see he's invested in a circus at the moment and needs to act?"

Would Di Canio come until the end of the season with an option to extend to a full five?

Re: Moyes Out
"I like Rob Edwards as a bloke but you can bet your life we'd get the 27% win percentage version who rocked up at Watford before being sacked 4 months later. As far as Lopetegui is concerned... some have said the fact he walked out on Wolves when he was told he had to sell Nunes and couldn't have the money is a good thing and shows he's principled. I don't see it like that. I see it as a bloke who threw his toys out of the pram because he couldn't bear his record being tarnished and as someone else on here reminded us, he wanted Cresswell and Ings. Anyhow, the chances of him not falling out with Sullivan and doing the same thing here are so long as to be incalculable"
