Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"I'll be very surprised if Moyes gets a job anywhere near the level of West Ham again. Like Faux says, ask anybody do they want him for their club and it's a resounding no."

Re: Moyes Out
"Fauxstralian 'Like all of them he would be horrified if Moyes took over THEIR club' I managed to crack the Moyes conundrum whenever discussing his management with neutral fans be it top, middle or bottom of the League Clubs. Whenever they pipe up with ""He's done a great job at West Ham, look at what he's achieved, the Football can't be that bad. You'd all be mad to get rid!"" Then I flip it on it's head and say ""OK, well would YOU want him managing YOUR Club?"" Wirhout fail every single one of them, no matter how big or small the Club, they look at me in horror at the thought and say no way! And it even played out that way recently Live on Talksport amongst the Ex Professionals and Journo. Funny that..... Hypocrites, the lot of em."

Re: Moyes Out
We have or have had the 7th highest turnover in the premier League until the Geordies takeover . Sutton is a fucking spastic. So west ham finishing 6th or 7th on that alone is par for the course . It's exactly where we should be finishing. . But as usual not one journalist has pulled him up on it . Only medal in his career worth winning was down to us . Ungrateful prick .

Re: Moyes Out
10th now that Wolves have won Chelsea a point back & Fulham 4 behind after winning at Old Trafford Sutton is a clown. An utter clown Like all of them he would be horrified if Moyes took over THEIR club
Re: Moyes Out
"Sutton at it again, such a bellend; ""I really feel for Moyes with what is going on at the moment, and it is definitely affecting his side's home form because they are low on confidence""ù ""He has over-achieved, but it feels like the tide has turned and more fans are against him now""ù He's not fucking over-achieved. He's done the minimum of what would have been expected with the squads he's had, and the backing h's had. Fucking hate these media cretins. I noted that when Manchester United equalised yesterday the MotD commentators were creaming themselves about how Fulham had never won at Old Trafford and that they might even lose again. Cunts."
Re: Moyes Out
"I reckon the Grinch attached lead weights to the decorations on West Ham's xmas tree? Never seen them fall so fast and so far in such a short space of time. The Grinch is Moyes in disguise I reckon. David ""Downer""ù :-("
Re: Moyes Out
"Paqueta is our best player and he is leaving us. We haven't scored a single goal open from play this year. It's pretty telling what a clusterfuck we are going forward. I don't want Moyes anywhere near involved in sourcing a replacement. We need a fresh look at our squad and how to reshape our approach to attacking football next season and that needs to start NOW,"

Re: Moyes Out
"Not in a month of Sundays are we ending up above Wolves and Fulham now with the momentum they both have and very favourable fixtures till the end of the season bar 2/3 games. We'll end up bottom half again by the looks of it under Moyes, which is a joke. It's only 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and so on, what do West Ham fans honestly expect??"
Re: Moyes Out
"Willtell 4:39 Sun Feb 25 Your speculation is plausable and only time will tell ( see what I did there ;-) ) I guess. But surely there is someone at the club ( Steidten ) and football world that can see, outside the European competitions against largely the B teams of the European leagues, our league form has been on a declining trajectory since as early as Feb 2022? Sure there has been a couple of 3 or 4 game revivals but the overall data plots a decline from top 8 to mid table and even below last season. The stats on possession and pressing, interceptions, set pieces all support the overall decline despite a material investment in players over the last 2 years. The only stat that was sky high was our xG but thats not great really because while se were the most effective finishers or chances we were almost bottom in chances created this season. Was never sustainable. I assume they are letting him run tye contract down, leave with his gigantic ego intact for delivering a trophy because his league results, the entertainment etc has been truly shockingly poor for a long time"
Re: Moyes Out
"Massive Attack 4:26 Sun Feb 25 Apologies I was trying to be complimentary about his record considering the clubs he has managed. He ha got them scoring goals and it's not easy to keep clean sheets with ""lesser"" clubs. Always liked his philosophy. Thought he got a bad press leaving Hull tog o to Watford. Unfortunately Watford do have a managerial roundabout."
Re: Moyes Out
"""Roeder-nowhere 3:50 Sun Feb 25 Re: Moyes Out I seem to remember last seasons rumours suggested Moyes was expected by the board to finish top 10 minimum""¶""ù ""î""î""î""î""î I reckon the problem is we tend to believe that there's truth in media rumours when they are mostly only the figment of a wannabe journalist's imagination. Events tend to show that all the stories of Moyes being given so many games etc are all just bullshit although a lot is probably Sullivan telling his mate journos what they need to hear. Some old rumours seem to be truer on reflection with the benefit of hindsight. I recall around Christmas Sullivan let it be known he was talking to Moyes about a new contract but thought he might decide not to renew. Reading between the lines I think it was true then but what wasn't mentioned were the terms of the contract offered back then. Obviously it was assumed it renewed Moyes old contract as Football Manager. Tim Steidten was employed as Technical Director and we don't know what responsibilities that involved but must assume that is directing football matters because football is the only technicality at a football club. Clearly Steidten has had to be patient until Moyes contract ended and that seems to be the source for rumours of friction between them. However, it would suggest that the appointment of Steidten and Noble as Sporting Director is a boardroom driven plan to professionalise the way WHUFC operates. Sullivan is 75 and has lots of investments to take care of. I'm sure he enjoyed playing real life FM but the death of David and Jacqueline Gold brought home that a ¬£200+m business can't continue with being run as an old man's hobby. So yes I think Moyes was telling the truth that Sullivan and Brady had offered him a 2.5 year deal last Christmas but it would remove his final say on player buys and the role would just be as Head Coach - not as an old fashioned Manager. That's why Moyes is waiting and see what offers he gets once the market knows he's available. Sullivan can only be seen to back the man he offered a longer deal to. Of course if it all goes completely ""òtits up' and costs the club money with a lower league finish and out of Europa he then is justified in sacking Moyes. That's my take on it anyway""¶"

Re: Moyes Out
"Bit too simplistic to view Silvas record like that, when he's been in charge of a crisis Club Everton during that time, newly promoted Club and a relegation candidates Hull City and Watford who go through manager's like they're going out of fashion. The fact he's got them scoring and winning a lot of the time is good management in itself. His 1st season back in the Prem with Fulham last season he led them to 10th 4 places above us under Moyes with 10th most goals scored, again above what we managed in the League. He also managed the 2nd highest ever goals scored in the Championship with 106 goals (Man City in 2001 108 goals as No. 1). Might be worth keeping an eye on what Newcastle do about Eddie Howe as they may decide to ditch him with the form they've been having. Although when you scratch deeper on why, you'll see Newcastle have suffered no end of injuries all season long, as well as key man Tonali being ruled out due to betting at the start of the season too. I'd definitely take Howe if he became available."
Re: Moyes Out
"Massive Attack 12:17 Sun Feb 25 Silva's a funny one. Plays some good stuff gets some great wins and also takes a few hammerings. In the PL -Matches 159 Wins 56 Draws 31 Losses 72 Goals For 214 Goals Against 248. Seems like he has a go, that's a bit like a Harry Redknapp record, sounds perfect for West Ham!"
Re: Moyes Out
"How could Moyes be holding out for a payoff if the owners decide to get rid of him before his contract is up? If he stays, he gets paid to the end of his contract. If he gets sacked, his contract is paid off. Only benefit Moyes gets from the sack is effectively a few months paid garden leave."

Re: Moyes Out
"I seem to remember last seasons rumours suggested Moyes was expected by the board to finish top 10 minimum. (Not unreasonable ). He failed and so he escaped the chop by 1 gane only - the last minute cup win, if he'd lost even the media wouldn't have grumbled too much at that given his expenditure and a season flirting with the relegation zone. A season on and we'll be10th if Wolves even just draw today. If EFC hadn't had their points deducted we'd be11th. Highly likely Chelsea will overtake us so realistically we'll finish 10/11th at best this season . Is that success with the £ spent & the players we have? Or will another semi final in Europa equal another successful season for the little man to justify keeping YES man DM? If it's true there's an offer on the table waiting to be signed the owners are juat crazy and the fact he hasn't signed suggests he's waiting for the unlikely chop and pay off if things go wrong or an offer from Celtic/whoever towards the end of the season. Either way this uncertainty is good for nobody except Moyes."
Re: Moyes Out
Massive Attack 12:17 Sun Feb 25 Good shout.. Would love him here.. And he has done that on a shoestring budget compared to the one Moyes has had.

Re: Moyes Out
"Twoleftfeet? More like Twobobcunt.. I'll chuck in another name worth considering, Marco Silva. Usually enjoy how he sets his Teams up playing entertaining football and fearless regardless of opposition. Knows how to compete and beat the 'big' Clubs like Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs, Liverpool as this season has proved in both the League and Cup - Semi with Liverpool/exciting 4-3 thriller at Anfield in League. He also drew the away fixture at Arsenal too. Also got back-to-back 5-0 wins vs us and Forest. Beat Chelsea last season. This is Fulham by the way, who ain't long been back after he got then promoted winning the Championship in real style** in his 1st season in charge after relegation. Also won the Greek Super League and a Portugese Cup so proven winner more than once and in different Countries. Has plenty of Premier League experience. Just 46yo. Squint and he looks a bit like a smouldering, cool as fuck Colin Farrell. **Beat to win the Championship: Huddersfield 1-5 (With 10 men) A Forest 0-4 A Blackburn 0-7 A Reading 0-7 A Bristol City 6-2 H Birmingham 6-2 H Swansea 1-5 A Luton Town 7-0 H Millwall 2-1 LOL Millwall 3-2 LOL 2 years left on his current contract, so will need paying up but if a Club had any semblance of ambition... Ah, alright, forget it!"
Re: Moyes Out
"Looking at our remaining fixtures, the jock from Glasgow will be hard pushed to end the season on a high. We will also exit Europe pretty soon. I am confident therefore there WONT be a contract for him to sign. Just hope the midget chooses a good replacement!"
Re: Moyes Out
"twoleftfeet 7:29 Sat Feb 24 You know absolutely nothing about how football should be played if you are still supporting Moyes.. I have been a season ticket holder for 50 fucking years so I have earned the right to sit back and wait""¶ You utter Twat !!"
Re: Moyes Out
"From a Man Utd forum before todays games; ""Still think we will win this, but there is no comfortable victories for us barring that West Ham win few weeks back and Everton away""ù Can't wait until Moyes has fucked off."

Re: Moyes Out
"Haha! Cheers Paul, for the heads up on Benrahma scoring yesterday as I missed it. A lovely first time hit winner coming on at Half Time too. Inspired Substitution that doesn't ignore quality sat remaining on the bench with plenty of time to get in to a match... https://x.com/footballontnt/status/1761140667022020783?s=20 Funny (it's actually nothing of the sort) that both Fornals and Benrahma score within days of joining their new Clubs. Must be a weird coincidence. I also see 4th place Villa won 4-2 in the end over Forest who dominated us last week. Fulham bravely taking the game to Man Utd at Old Trafford also won and West Ham target Glasners 1st game in charge after taking over from boring Roy's Crystal Palace, smash Burnely 3-0. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!!"

"Yep paul puts in decent wedge to have the right to constantly moan when nothing changes on the entertainment front even when we win. twobraincellsleft puts in next to fuck all, but thinks he should hold back on his moaning..... .....you couldn't make it up....."
