"Freiburg really is a massive game for Moyes. Hopefully the start v Brentford and the comeback v Burnley has shown him how to approach this - but i doubt it. it'll be tight and cautious, first goal will be huge."

"We will likely face a team that takes us out of Europa sooner or later, if it isn't Freiburg tomorrow. We have next to no chance in the league of reaching European qualification spots based on current form. We re losing our star player in the summer and I dread hearing what plans Moyes has to replace him. This should be enough reason to part ways and start over with another manager, but we don't have a chairman with a vision to take us forward. Mid table mediocrity every year is a fever dream for Sullivan. Many fans too would be happy with that because lets be honest there are many a season we'd have killed for mid table security. Until Sullivan calls it a day and sells up you can expect Moyes or similar here next season and everything that comes with that."

"Yep, it's all just as boring as Moyes Football but sadly here we are all still limping on because Moyes himself struggles, or worse I suspect chooses to ignore to read the room. It's like the end days of Maggies reign, just fuck off for fuck sake........ *cocks pistol placed in mouth*"

It's got to the point now where even the Moyes out rhetoric has become as tiring as the football. West Ham being West Ham he'll probably be here for another two years and we will all die of boredom before Moyes goes.

"i am a victim of the Moyes hokey cokey. Things he's done well: organised the team, made us hard to beat, we have had some great results over his time and the trophy - being hard to beat and counter attacking against unfamiliar opposition has worked really well Things he's failed at: being able to play progressively and dominate the opposition pyschologically to risk having a go at a ""big"" team buy round pegs for round holes - Fornals or JWP on the left! Paqueta has to play centrally and so on - ffs now we've reached a level and could push on he is clearly not the man to do it Some journo wrote a year or so back he's a high floow low ceiling manager, he'll guarantee you mid table / keep you away from bottom 3 BUT wont be able to push on and fundamentally change the club. My frustrattion is like a lot of us - he cant seem to get on the front foot and take a game to anyone (or only rarely), he generally doesnt have a decent plan B, his recruitment has been bad overall, the striker situation! even though Bowen, Paqueta and a few others have been great. For me it's time to change - there must be someone in world football with some balance of defense and attack, who could spend £450 million and make a decent squad. It would be a priviliege for most managers surely. Sorry Dave, thanks for the good days but enough now. If we get 2 more years of this ""Moyesosaurus football"" i will lose my mind."

"Moyes wont be around unless our fortunes improve. Logically given we are currently still in Europe and 7th in the league Sullivan could use that as the ""why"" to offering him a new contract now. In reality we will be out of Europe and mid table end of the season with more terrible football and a graveyard of a ground given we will have nothing to play for. Then Moyes will say he walked to save some pride even though he's a ""winner""."

"Well that does look like better news... compared to whathisname on Hammers Chat who sounds soooooo pissed off as he's now set in his mind that Moyes is getting a new contract based on some rumour backed up 1 Moyes's son joining us as a scout and 2. Downes is apparently not coming back and will be sold and 3. Ben Johnson not being offered a new contract... all points to Moyes being here next season.. I agree with him its depressing I cant cope with 2 more years of this shit... and yes Joyo we are miserable pricks because this shit football makes us miserable, that Joyless jock cսnt makes us fucking miserable.. no shots on target in 45 mins against bottom of the table Burnley at home... just keep repeating that sentence until it sinks in you fuckwit..."

"Frank won't be sacked, even if they were relegated, which they won't be anyway. In the 9 games Toney's been back for they've played mostly top 7 teams (inc. Man City twice, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs) so they've got a fairly easy run-in now."

Even if we lose on Thursday I can't see Moyes getting sacked while we're 7th in the league. The media would have a field day and Sullivan would hate it. Moyes is here until the end of the season. We'll finish 9th-11th and they'll quietly part ways without much fuss.
