"If we approached every game like this one and the second half against Burnley, then no problem at all with the man being in charge. Sure we won't be putting hatfuls past people every week but we should win more often than not and be thoroughly entertained."

Yeah Nutsin... If Moyes set up like this every week and showed some intent we wouldnt be talking about him needing to leave for us to progress. Unfortunately he is a coward and wont do this week in week out only when his jobs on the line... Oh and dont forget how shit he is at squad management progressing players inc youth team and his general arrogance and distain towards the fans...

"Moyes loves playing Defensive central Midfielders in the No. 10 role just like he used to play Downes there before he now crams Ward-Prowse there instead of genuine one's like Paqueta. In actual fact I do Moyes a disservice, if he had it his way he'd play an entire First XI full of Defensive Midfielders. The most he's managed is 4, so he's getting there, give him time and a new contract....."

"Lee Trundle 9:00 Wed Mar 13 Paqueta at Man City will be a joke. He's so perfect for Pep in terms of technical ability, flair and creativity. What does Moyes do with him, put him left wing, so Soucek can play deep and JWP can play almost in a 10. Fucking mental."

"Rice hasn't improved, he's always been this good. What's different is his new Team gets to make a shit load of chances which he clearly benefits from. It also helps to allow him to play in such an attacking Team and not such a gutless defensive one as ours has been under Moyes. Arteta hasn't improved him 1 bit, other than coming across slightly more oily and sickly in the Media."

"It pisses me off seeing the MEDIA wank over Rice. All Arteta had to do was let him off the leash Moyes, and Southgate, had him on. The same thing will likely happen to Paqueta when he fucks off in the summer. Everyone can see how much better he is playing centrally, and that's all that his new manager will have to do. Imagine how good a central midfield 3 of Alverez, Rice and Paqueta could have been."

"british is best 8:38 Wed Mar 13 Same as Philips. Both are as high profile homegrown English players we could get. That we are desperate to meet a quota for, as Moyes doesn't like the risk of blooding our successful youth players."

"Stubbo And Fornals was crucial in us getting to a Final Moyes loves to milk for all it's worth. His reward? Benched this season barely getting a look in before being flogged for relative peanuts for his talent. Sackable offence alone. Not only did Fornals deserve better treatment but fuck me he's actually really fucking good. Only Moyes can struggle to see how useful Fornals is and how technically sound he is too. That's Moyes for you though, much prefers spoilers over Footballers. Honestly, to think he fucked off Fornals and desperately wanted Phillips in the same window sums him up perfectly."

JWP is a good player..but such a lazy signing.the only thing Moyes wanted him for was set pieces ..he's noble apart from that .

"Re Pablo Fornals: ""In the end, you can never leave angry or sad from a place that has given you everything and that you have also given or left everything on your part,""ù Fornals explained. ""But well, there came a time when the club grew a lot and decided to bring in players paying a lot for them.""ù ""In the end, that makes your position more competitive, and you don't enjoy all the minutes you would like.""ù ""I owe West Ham a lot. They gave me the opportunity of a lifetime, to fulfil my dream. I have played more than 150 games with them, we have played European nights, magical nights, Europa League semi-finals, winning the Conference League.""ù"

"Totally agree with the last few posts. Moyes rigid approach and formation means he constantly plays people out of position. What makes it even worse, is he does that to shoe horn in Soucek amongst others. As much as Soucek is limited, it's why in a weird way he thrives, because he doesn't really excel in any position and harsh as it sounds is so grateful being picked. It's why he is slowly emerging as the new club captain. If Moyes doesn't go for it tomorrow, at least with the starting 11, he's finished. The atmosphere, already shit, would be dead for the rest of the season."

"Absolutely right Stubbo. And when we think how much has been wasted on Scamacca, Cornet, Ings, Downes, Vlassic, Kral and the problems moyes gets with Aguerd who wants out apparently. I heard a rumour that Moyes doesn't want Alvarez but has to pick him as he's so good but he's always subbed when possible. Dawson wanted out for family reasons of course. Our younger players all seem to want out, Moyes assistant retired but works as a scout. Stuart Pearce retired. Paul Nevin left. Warburton left. Paqueta would be off like a shot given the chance and the only content players are those that are being picked regularly. Well. There might be a clue there Mr Sullivan..."

"Stubbo 7:18 Wed Mar 13 Moyes did not allow Fornals to go to seed. He actually ensured he failed by playing a slow but energetic right sided central midfield player on the left wing with demoralising and form degenerating results. He abused Benrahma in the same way with a similar value reducing and demoralising outcome. He has done the same with Paqueta who, as a world class player has simply risen above or it, more recently, only started playing when he moves inside to his more correct role. Ward-Prowse is half the player he was at the start of the season. Again, a slow central midfield player banished to the left wing with a consequent drop off in effectiveness. I would not say any of those players lost form or went to seed. They were simply played in a position to which they were not suited, became or are becoming, demoralised and there effectiveness and value dropped. So, being pedantic, he did not allow anyone to go to seed, he actively orchestrated their failure. He cannot manage talent and that has been evident throughout his career."

"It's largely why we got less than 7million quid for a central attacking midfielder at the absolute peak of his career (28 years old) and who within the last 18 months had been on the fringes of the Spain national squad. Moyes allowed Fornals to go to seed, and the club's lack of fee in return is the clear embodiment of that."
