Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"No joyo. I don't know that. As far as I'm concerned Moyes is a very poor manager. His squad is better than he is""¶"
Re: Moyes Out
You can't say that Willtell you know how much the truth and stating facts will trigger the doom and gloom merchants
Re: Moyes Out
"Ha ha. I think Sullivan, Gold & Brady had more to do with making us massive than Moyes joyo."

Re: Moyes Out
"Hahaha Twobobcunt's at it again, defending Moyes more than Moyes likes to defend over the history of our great Club. Probably his Agent or another one of those weirdo AI Moyes bots that posts regularly on KUMB. Fancy undermining the history of the likes of Moore, Hurst, Peters, Brooking, Bonds et al. We are as massive as you are a massive cսnt."
Re: Moyes Out
Second largest attendance in PL and 15th largest club in Europe isn't massive? Are you a Spurs fan twoleftfeet?

Re: Moyes Out
""" our numerous European and FA cup winning history "" 3 FA cups and 1 ECWC in 100 years before Moyes? God yes we are massive! What a deluded poster. We only started singing "" West Ham are massive "" during the Moyes era. We aren't massive by the way, don't be so deluded."

Re: Moyes Out
"Totally agree Massive. You'd have thought the argument for Moyes would amount to more than patronising cliches about enjoying the odd win, Premier League and European football and being careful what you wish for. The risks of keeping him on still greatly outweigh taking on a proper modern manager and until that changes it's so long and thanks for all the boring, negative shite."
Re: Moyes Out
"Good post Massive Attack. Bloody Robbie Savage co-comentated on the Frieburg game and a couple of times pronounced that he thought Moyes had done a good job and WH fans were wrong to criticise him! That's the Savage that has a new job of DOF of that top club Macclesfield in the Northern PL""¶"

Re: Moyes Out
"I find a lot of the debate on Moyes and what the Club should or shouldn't be doing centres around perceptions of how people both inside and outside the Club view us, including Moyes himself. If we took the chant ""West Ham are massive"" for example, plenty outside the Club be it in the media or opposing fans, think we are just little old West Ham and balk everytime they here us sing it at the top of our lungs. Yet it ain't sang with irony belittling ourselves, it's because for many of us supporting this great Club, we genuinely and rightly believe we ARE a massive Club. We have a fuck off Stadium with a massive fanbase that regularly fills it since day 1 of moving in and do so away from home too, over land and sea. Our history is massive that's steeped in both numerous European and FA Cup winning history, with also a unique connection to our Country's extremely proud World Cup winning history with the heavy involvement of World Class produced player's that represented us. Our world renowned famed Academy is and always has been massive, which just so happened to win a unique Cup double as recent as last season too. You don't manage all of that unless your Football Club is massive. We also produce massive, magic moments like participating in 1 of the finest Cup Final performances like against Liverpool in the FA Cup, or against Munich in the Cup Winners Cup, or Goals of the Season like Di Canio's unique effort, or indeed to this very day when Kudus goes and does a Ravel Morrison from beyond the halfway line. All in the style of The West Ham Way. So with all that bearing in mind, to get back to how clowns like Bent, Sutton, Cundy, O'Hara or indeed our very own out of touch arrogant manager view us constantly belittling our impressive history as a Club it fucks many like me right off. 100% we should be banging loudly on the top four door, or hammering down as many Cup Final doors as we possibly can and why throwing a Cup Quarter-Final/losing to Bristol City producing such gutless displays grates many. We ain't here to make up the number's like other also-rans, we should be shaking shit up barging our way up to the top finally taking our place amongst the other big boys just as the Romford Pele Ray Parlour recently alluded too on Talksport. We are a sleeping giant that should aspire to play regular quality Football like against shit sides like Freiburg (not as a one-off) and challenge more regularly at the top end of the table, instead of battling relegation like we had too last season. And if Moyes doesn't understand or appreciate any of that, then he has to step aside and let someone that is capable who does...."
Re: Moyes Out
"TM, what is going on on here these days is that when we lose Moyes is criticised and when we win Moyes is criticised. When someone puts up a post about enjoying the win and living in the moment that individual is then accused of having a pop at someone and being a Moyes fundamentalist."
Re: Moyes Out
Agree 100%?Stubbo But I just mentioned on another thread that really it all comes down to Steidten versus Moyes and who is best to keep for the long term because it would seem they cannot work together? Moyes does not want to be a modern coach and allow Steidten and his team to handle scouting and recruitment ( using modern data based methods

Re: Moyes Out
"mr biege, I was clearly exaggerating with the manager of the year bit but my point stands. you moyes fundamentalists can't help have a dig at his critics after every win/decent performance, but whenever these performances (rare) happen it's only what his critics have been calling for, for the last two years. I wouldn't fucking bother if we didn't have talented players, much like I didn't bother slagging off bilic when it was clear the dwarf cսnt hung him out to dry in terms of player investment. it's why this jock fraud can't have any leeway, he's been given the money, the players, has continued to lose money on every one that's left bar rice and only let's these good players (and I include tomas) play their natural game when the negativity towards him reaches breaking point"

Re: Moyes Out
"I'll give Moyes credit when he gets full-on committed performances out of Emerson, Alvarez, JWP, Paqueta, Kudus and Bowen on a regular basis. There's absolutely no reason why he can't set up to their strengths and dominate games other than his own limitations. As for the youth, he has failed in every respect, which is in itself unforgivable."

Re: Moyes Out
"Yes, you're paying attention Mike. That's exactly what's been going on. Some are easily fooled, especially the media Moyes luvvies but for some of us, we see what's really going on. As for Freiburg, they're bottom half Championship level at best, yet some are raving about beating them like they are peak Bayern Munich. Sure, you can only play what's in front of you but but fuck me Moyes has got some (loads) of luck with the European fixtures he's had to face. That context gets totally ignored and people only want to focus on the stats alone."
Re: Moyes Out
"TM, you need to wind in your rhetoric to something proportionate, take a look at yourself from the outside too. Nobody on here or in the media is suggesting Moyes be awarded manager of the year or be given a ten year contract."

Re: Moyes Out
"what did he actually do thursday? for months some of us have been calling for bowen or kudus off the left, paqueta through the middle, and an actual striker up top. instead, he was obsessed with shoehorning three or four CMs in to a system that doesn't fucking work, but yes, let's give the cսnt manager of the fucking year and a ten year deal for doing the obvious. something he only does when on the brink of the sack"

Re: Moyes Out
"I think we're in danger of giving Moyes too much credit here. Thursday was all about the players showing up on the night while the Moyes system stayed the same. While he's around, high tempo, pressing and maximum commitment performance of this kind will be reserved for must-win games. I still don't see that will be enough to get Euro cup games next season."
Re: Moyes Out
"Totally agree with you Willtell, and from the outside we no doubt all look like deluded cretins for wanting him out. I do fear for the next guy though. Moyes has decimated the squad size, disillusioned any fringe players, failed to bring through promising youth, all while allowing the squad age to stay old. The next guy is gonna have a job on his hands...whether next year or the year after that. Steidten IMO has it all to prove but the principle of putting him in place is the right one...we need the manager (whoever that may be) to get out of his way and let him do the job he was brought in to do...and then judge him on it. For me the jury is out with him...Kudus and Mavropanos are the only players he has 'found' for us thus far, although he did seal the signings of Alvarez too who obviously had other suitors. But now he needs to be given the resources and clout to do his job properly. We need it, the squad needs it, and like it or not Moyes needs it. The fact that the players he chased so hard....Lingard with the way his career has gone and now JWP and Phillips are all not worthy of our first team, shows how appalling he is at spotting a player."
Re: Moyes Out
"Spot on right stubbo. However, does Sullivan let the man go that kept WHU in PL, gave him 3 years (possibly 4) of European football and won the first trophy for 43 yrears? To a real top team that would not be a bother but for a wanker like Sullivan that has a record of failure every time he has picked a manager for WH. Sacked attack minded Zola for coming close to relegation and appointed better - Avram Grant who relegated us! Sam Allardicci who got us back up to PL but couldn't change the way we play and so fans became disenchanted. Enter Bilic which again was good at first but ended up near relegation so in came Moyes for 6months. Went for better with PL winning Pellegrini who did OK but his sidekick's recruitment let him down so back to Moyes and the start of what on paper looks to be a successful period in spite of all you say stubbo. I have a feeling that Moyes will get us back into Europe and will do well in the final stages. If we don't then and only then Moyes is toast.... ."
Re: Moyes Out
"If Moyes used Thursday as a template for Plan A most of the time, then ONE of the arguments against him would largely dissolve. You'd still have: - Lack of youth team progression - Squandering funds and poor squad building - Horrid man management of all but the starting XI - Belittling of the club - Poor in-game tactical management - and simply the fact that it's one of the positions at the club that can be upgraded in the pursuit of getting better But, it would be a start at least. The decision is to be taken end of the season...so we'll see if Thursday was a lightbulb moment, or a beautiful departure from the norm, with normal service swiftly resumed."

Re: Moyes Out
"Problem is, he came across a perfect way of playing last night. We were fucking ruthless in front of goal and had them all at sea especially in defence. The 4 upfront where fantastic and took the game to them as they were allowed to play. That was Moyes releasing the shackles as he knew it was win or bust. If we played like that every week especially against the likes of Burnley, Sheffield United etc rather than trying to strangle the game, grind it out, slow boring build up play then this thread wouldn't have anywhere near the replies it has had. Everyone was praising moyes last night, but not one person had the balls to say, This is what the fans want to see, if you delivered this most weeks then everyone would be totally onside and there wouldn't be a massive split in the fan base. My frustration is that we play like that on Thursday but no doubt he will revert to type on Sunday because it is the mighty Aston Villa. Unless it is the likes of City, Arsenal and Liverpool we should be taking the game to every other club in the league. We have the players to do it, he just restricts them in every way he can."
