Re: Moyes Out
"Unsurprising stat in the paper today, Moyse has lost 16 of the last 17 games against teams that that finished in the top four the previous season"
Re: Moyes Out
"Focusing on the topic of financial implications of Moyesball and in addition to millions lost on his recruitment choices ( not all but most ), this current season ticket pricing unrest is discussed below and there is a decent point being made dont u think? I labour thus ( well I drone on about a lot if things :-) ) because its more likely the financial impact that will influence Sullivan and his fellow board members like Kretinsky. I still think it simply comes down to whether we qualify for Europe or not next season in some way ( Conference or Europa ). Obviously a miracle us winning the Europa but Moyes more likely route is scraping 8th place and the Conference again. He does this its more revenue again to cover the potential loss of long standing season ticket holders? https://westhamfans.org/content/seat-police-try-manager-change"

Re: Moyes Out
Losses what losses . I've only took notice of the post . Villas wage bill is far higher than ours is . Despite having a far smaller turnover. They are more up against FFP than we are . There gambling everything on champions League football. Like Leeds were .

Re: Moyes Out
"Playing devils advocate, Bowen would wipe out all those losses if he was sold. Also not sure Aguerd will be sold at a loss (though not sure how long he has left on his contract)... he is very well regarded and we should make a profit on him IMO. But just for the fact that Moyes would still waste £30m on Maguire he needs to go."
Re: Moyes Out
"I reckon putting aside the key argument that Moyes brand of football has reached its ""ceiling""ù, Sullivan just needs to look at the recruitment picks or preferences of Moyes and the losses on most if not all the players Moyes recruits, to see that his time is up. It will be the finacial losses that should sway Sullivan and only agreement to having Steidten in charge of recruiting is the way forward. Moyes remember wanted Phillips or Amrabat not Alvarez. Maguire he wants who will onoy be sold for a loss. JWP at a loss, Aguerd, Zouma, at a loss, Scamacca although not sure he was a Moyes pick. Vlasic was apparently and sold at a loss. The list goes on and on. He loves a slow player with lots of experience in his late 20s mostly does Davey?"

Re: Moyes Out
"It must be a shock to the system for Kehrer and any defender to go from a club dominating possession to one who sits back and doesn't even press the ball. You need to be mentally focused all game long, with only a few moments peace here and there. Probably one of the reasons Dawson was so good for us, as he was already used to facing that kind of continual pressure under the likes of Pulis."

Re: Moyes Out
The problem for all our centre backs is Moyes's low block and encouraging the opposition to have the ball... its just a matter of numbers eventually you're going to make a mistake. Even Alvarez is getting more bookings with us than he did previously at Ajax simply because he has to work harder.

Re: Moyes Out
"Of all the players bombed out of West Ham by Moyes, a lot of us suspected Kehrer could play a bit if only he was given a run of games and support by the manager. Well if stats are anything to go by he's proving it at Monaco. Could also be the tactical set up more suited to his game of course but what a shamese never got to see him develop at West Ham. Him, Downes, Fornals, Scamacca, Haller, Cornet, Benrahma. Lots of victims of Moyes tactics and management style ? https://www.hammers.news/analysis/thilo-kehrer-stats-at-monaco-will-blow-west-ham-fans-minds/"

Re: Moyes Out
Yes it was October last year and I was obviously still Moyes out. I think it was me arguing about fundamentalist ranting as opposed to giving reasons beyond Moyes is shit. Obviously it was at a time we were facing news that Moyes getting renewed.i guess.
