Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"""Neither Paqueta or Kudus were up to much before they came here."" Is this the same Paqueta who's already played 30+ games for Brazil? And the Kudus who'd already played many international and Champions League games?"

Re: Moyes Out
"Yes, Moyes really coaches into Paqueta, Kudus, Rice and Bowen how to play so magnificently. The same Rice for one example who ge even admitted upon his return to the Club got so fucking good in his absence. 100% in spite."
Re: Moyes Out
I'm not trying to justify anything Eerie. I have said that what happened at Newcastle obviously didn't work and there is no defending it. We are a shambles when it comes to defending a lead. But don't fucking tell me Ings was the answer or ignoring their threat and dominance in the midfield was the answer either ffs!

Re: Moyes Out
Does Nutsack realise the same person is responsible for the size of squad we have AND the signing of these players who are not up to scratch?
Re: Moyes Out
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. The same people criticising the decision to take off Antonio would have been moaning that the midfield had not been strengthened if Antonio had stayed on and we'd lost.
Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes developed Rice and Bowen, neither Paqueta or Kudus were up to much before they came here. One thing to criticize Moyes for obvious mistakes but it's a bunch of bollocks to ignore his successes and even worst to completely deny them. All of them thrived because of Moyes, fucking admit it."

Re: Moyes Out
It's quite something to see someone try to justify a decision that was the main contributing factor in letting a 1-3 lead turn into a loss. Impressive commitment to the cause.

Re: Moyes Out
"Factory seconds said: not only has moyes been extremely fortunate to helm talent far beyond his limited idea of football, but he's often worked to actively hinder our progress and it's only through telling him to do one that we have the potential we do. despite these players, we still look like a woefully coached team with no idea how to control a game of football. just one with so much firepower that sometimes it doesn't even matter - atleast until the manager decides to sabotage it. ================== Let's take a look at Moyes Player Killing track record: Those killed past and present - Scamacca Fornals Benrahma Haller Ings Cornet Ward-Prowse Aguerd Diop Lanzini Downes Yarmolenko Anyone I missed? And notice how most of them are proper ""Footballers"" and not just cloggers like the Phillips of the world which he much prefers to work with for his basic thick head. Pretty much all of them instantly returned to form once they left grips of the Player Killer (would make for a good B Movie). Fortunately though due to the outstanding ability of some players like Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen, Rice that not even he could kill off such World Class talent."
Re: Moyes Out
"Yeah in hindsight it's easy to sit there and say what you would have done differently but fact is nothing you would have done would have made a difference, they were controlling the midfield and creating chances before we made a change and after. Leaving Antonio on or replacing him with Ings or Mubama wouldn't have changed that. To sit back and ignore the threat is idiotic. Unfortunately for us Phillips has gone to shit and is way off the pace especially against the better prem teams."
Re: Moyes Out
The Jock cսnt has cost us 4 points in the last two games alone with his shit fucking tactics. He will cost us European football next season. From Hero to fucking Zero. He is finished.

"""Moyes has been slated on this thread for bringing Ings on in more than one occassion. Now all of a sudden he's the answer."" has ings ever played when we've had bowen/kudus out wide and paqueta in his proper position? I doubt it, it's usually been with one of the scapegoats wide left and the centre of the park packed with zero creativity. ings has played pretty well in recent times, yet the dour jock cսnt refuses to utilise his squad"

Re: Moyes Out
"Can someone tell the Blue Oyster Bar frequenting Nutsack we let in 3 goals after Moyes had decided to go all out defensive""¶""¶.hahahaha!"
Re: Moyes Out
Villa and Newcastle are both a couple of good teams. Ings and Mubama are both not up to sniff. Moyes has been slated on this thread for bringing Ings on in more than one occassion. Now all of a sudden he's the answer. You lot want to have a word with yourselfs you change your tune every other week. Make up your minds ffs!
Re: Moyes Out
"Nutsack really doesn't have a clue. Barnes came on for Almiron and hadn't influenced the game remotely in the 2 minutes he was on before Phillips joined the fray. In fact Phillips was already stripped and coming on before Newcastle had to sub their sub and bring on Barnes so his pace very definitely wasn't becoming a problem at that point. What would I have done? Cornet for Antonio, use his pace against their makeshift defence, Bowen through the middle and Kudus out right with instructions to use his physicality to help out Coufal. What wouldn't I have done? The same thing that contributed to throwing away 2 points against Villa"

Re: Moyes Out
"Nutsin If the two options are make the change he did or leave it as it was then you leave it. The defensive change failed against Villa and then again against Newcastle. He is phenomenally tactically limited. There are multiple potential changes - what you do NOT do is play with no centre forward which is what he did. If you have to take off Antonio you bring on the closest like for like which is Mubama as he can run around like a headless chicken and be the ""out ball"" more than Ings can. If you want to go more defensive then you take off one of the three behind (Kudus, Paqueta, Bowen) and put on Phillips. Or you simply tell those three to sit in a low block. What you do not do is what failed against Villa and failed again. It was a dreadful, dreadful decision and the fact you're implying that somehow it's the only thing Moyes could have done is illiterate in football terms."

Re: Moyes Out
"IMO and this may sound too simplistic and naive, but you just step up your own game and tell players, for example, to get tighter on Gordon and Barnes, or make slight adjustments, but not change the entire fucking system. They're good players, but certainly not players that can't be contained. It's just another clear example of fear and Moyes showing the oppo too much respect again. Would have somebody like big Ange done the same thing? No is the answer, he would have gone bollocks out for the fourth goal and have some faith. Ultimately, Moyes got it very wrong, did he not."
Re: Moyes Out
"Nuts out, so far we have conceded 54 goals one less than the whole of last season where we conceded 55 and managed to lose 20 games. Seeing as we cannot defend effectively it was folly to replace Antonio with Phillips. It should have been Ings that came on."
Re: Moyes Out
"Fifth so what would you have done instead? Eddie Howe made changes and the pace of Gordon and Barnes was becoming a factor and Newcastle had two good chances that they missed. So something had to be done. Should he have stayed with Antonio? (Moyes is obviously limiting his minutes because of the short rest period between the Newcastle and the Spurs game) Bring on Ings instead of pushing Bowen up top? OR try and shore up the midfield to try and stymie their midfield dominance? If so, who would you have brought on instead of Phillips? OR would you have done something completely different?"

Re: Moyes Out
Joyo contradicting yourself again... yes life is too short to put up with Moyes any longer. This squad could be decimated by next season and he will have surrendered the opportunity for European football because of his cowardly negative tactics..
Re: Moyes Out
"It's a long shot and I'm not sure my heart's in it but I'll try and make a quick case for the defence with Moyes' decision making on Saturday. 1. Without Alvarez, Moyes overlooked Phillips and left him on the bench and went for WP and Soucek to start. 2. When we went 3-1 up, before the subs were made, we were already conceding the initiative all over the pitch and Antonio's presence was being nullified. 3. When the subs was made on 67th minute, shoring up the midfield to counter the ever-increasing dominance by the opposition was not an outlandish strategy and many managers would have made a similar decision. 4. Bringing on Phillips with 15 to go and a two goal lead appeared to be a safe bet. Arguably, bringing on a player who had been underperforming as he was if the score line had been tighter, would have been immediately questionable. 5. The second pen was a nonsense decision and gave the opposition the opportunity to believe. Hindsight tells us, of course, that was all wrong and Phillips should have been parked on some motorway cafe. A straight swap for Ings might have been preferable. As question s need to be asked why we didn't run away with the game after the third goal and prey on their disruptions is where defence for Moyes breaks down. The final 35 minutes of the game we appeared to sink back to the DNA of Moyes."
