Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"Yeh, it was mental Antonio didn't come off against Spurs. He had got to a point where he had a complete inability to even control a ball (more than normal) he was that out of steam. Quite why he got Ings stripped and ready, including one of his goafers giving Ings his instructions only to then leave him on the bench was baffling. He's an odd bloke."

Re: Moyes Out
"threesixty the point about Antonio coming off against the Geordies, as he needs managing, would hold more water if he wasn't run into the ground three days later, where after 75 minutes he had to play on the left as he'd run out of gas. Let's hope he's rested against Wolves, which is five days before our biggest game of the season"

Re: Moyes Out
The problem with taking Antonio off is that Moyes doesnt trust or rate Mubama or Ings Plus his usual subs in an attacking sense were often Benrahma or Fornals and both were allowed to leave without being replaced. You could always use Cornet to stretch defenders .... but he doesnt trust / rate him either Personally the idea of taking attacking players off for defensive ones has always been false for me. Usually takes the pressure off the opponents who can push up and the 'defensive' player often becomes just another player bypassed . Like an extra training cone

Re: Moyes Out
"Russ of the BML 11:34 Thu Apr 4 Yes I agree on paper there is a ""correct"" sub. As it's a positional thing. Basically Philips didn't need to come on as we do have someone who can play Antonio's position. Its just in reality taking off a 34yr old very experienced no.9 (especially as he is pretty unique in this league) for Mubama who barely plays and is very young etc.. well, Your not really fulfilling the task you need done with that Sub. Same with Ings really. So I can see why he opted for Philips logically. But he can see Philips in training and in some previous games and knows he's shit but still opted for him. The logic in his head was even if he is shit he cant be that shit to let us ship 3 goals in 15 minutes... oh well! yes he can. Yes the whole setup removing your no.9 will do that. Moyes should know better. Maybe had he been at home he wouldn't have done it.. I dont know. And I agree with Nutsin, you do need to give Antonio rest if you want him to play 2 days later. They are managing athletes out here, it's all precision stuff. Every hour of rest matters."

Re: Moyes Out
"I think Nutsacks inability to understand / obfuscation when confronted with an argument epitomises the few remaining Moyesin posters on here... they just cant see whats right in front of them which makes the Moyesouters think they are idiots or have no idea about the game... The argument regarding taking Antonio off I agree if Mikey is struggling with fitness fine take him off, but Massives argument was replace like for like dont change the whole structure of the team moving our creative player into a cul de sac was only ever going to result in a lack of further attacks handing the iniative totally to spurs which is what happened. The Moyes out argument isnt we should be higher than 7th (although based on the points we have dropped against teams we either should be beating or were we could be 5th) its that Moyes is crap at Squad and Game Management. Nutsack seems to think hes developed the squad since he took over but where is the evidence id say only to the contrary.... based on what the squad looks like now, the way he ignores youth progression, his mismanagement of Fornals and Benny, Cornet, Ings, Vlasic, Kral Haller, Scamacca, Lanzini, Kehrer, Ashby, Ben Johnson, Downes yes some signings fail but too many to be a coincidence thise that have worked Paq, Kudus, Bowen and the Czechs are more down to their personal mental attitude but to get the best out of some players you need to treat them differently, you cant ay them out of position then hang them out to dry His incompetence when it comes to subs, too early when we are winning and too late or not at all when we are losing.. he cant change a game except to make it worse.. Add to that the style of play his arrogance to fans, interviewers and his harping back to what hes done and not what hes doing now just adds to the frustration. Im way beyond done with him ...."

"This:- ""No West Ham supporter is demanding league titles, CL football or even a Europa League win. But we do demand to be exciting and to play football the right way with attacking intent and commitment. Moyes doesn't demand that of his players. So there is a huge disconnect."" I might just add a proper youth policy with actual first XI appearances (not 3 minutes into injury time when the game has already been decided)."

Re: Moyes Out
"""he threw a league cup quarter final against Liverpool's reserves, just before christmas in the full knowledge that 6000+ had travelled hundreds of miles in the freezing cold"" Well i cant disagree with that! Deserved all the cunting he got and another reason he needs to be replaced, that night was a disgrace and embarrassment of the club, not sure i will forgive BFS doing it at Forest either. However not sure it proves he hates the fans, just his way of priotorising football matches and how he operates ( i dont agree with and another reason he needs to be replaced) could be argued he did similar against Bristol city as well? Also what has this got to do with not making Subs against Spurs? Sorry but this dumb Aussie cսnt cant make the connection!"

Re: Moyes Out
"Sydney_Iron 6:47 Thu Apr 4 Moyes wouldn't make subs to 'spite' fans. He wouldn't do anything in game to 'spite' fans. But he doesn't like the West Ham support and they don't like him (in general). He doesn't like the West Ham support because we don't stroke the monumental ego that he has. He believes that he should not be questioned, which we do. He feels he is beyond critique and that is something that we definitely do. The main problem is that Moyes believes he is the best manager that West Ham have ever had and that the support be be more supportive of him. He views our league position and what he has done as 'unbelievable' for West Ham. And that's the main problem. We are on different pages. West Ham support want more. We want better. Moyes is happy to put his feet back and gloat and dwell on the Euro Conference win and his two top ten finishes in four seasons. When the support have moved on and want to step uo the next wrung of the ladder. The support look at our squad / team and expect to go out and win games by beating them. Moyes is happy to be competitive and adopt a 'don't lose' philosophy. And you say he doesn't spite the fans, but every single word out of his mouth is designed to make a point to the fans. He harks back to the Euro Conference, to past wins....He even mentioned after Spurs he would've taken 4 points off Spurs at start of season....Gently reminding that we beat them at WHL. It's all very egotistical, contrived and just comes across as petty. No West Ham supporter is demanding league titles, CL football or even a Europa League win. But we do demand to be exciting and to play football the right way with attacking intent and commitment. Moyes doesn't demand that of his players. So there is a huge disconnect. His attitude is and always will be that we are 'Little Old West Ham' and we should be grateful. The fact that we don't see ourselves that way means Moyes and the supporters will never truly connect. He can't work that out. He must go to bed confused every night as to why there is not a statue of him outside the ground. His view of himself is far greater than that of the club he manages. His ego is too big for the stadium."

Re: Moyes Out
"threesixty 1:54 Wed Apr 3 I agree and disagree. There is a correct sub. Like for like. Against Newcastle all he needed to do is replace Antonio with Mubama or Ings. With strict instructions to play high up the pitch, make runs, hold the ball up and keep Newcastle pegged back. Also to defend high up and chase everything down. You know, usual striker instructions. Because it was our shape they couldn't contend with. And it was the space in midfield that Paqueta was enjoying that they couldn't contend with. I am not saying Ings or Mubama would do it as well as Antonio. But if Antonio cannot continue then take him off. Juist don't disrupt everything else and compromise other players. By putting on Phillips we lost our main outlet up front and had no potency. It also then removed all the space Paqueta was in. I described it like a boxing coach tying one hand behind his boys back and expecting him to win. So there is a correct sub. It's just that Moyes is incapable of being offensive for a whole 90 minutes and reverts to type with his arse hole fluttering. As for the squad and bench. I totally agree. Moyes has completely failed to create a competent squad. He doesn't utilise a squad properly. The bench is disconnected from the first team. It's just a monumental failure to do his job properly."

Re: Moyes Out
"FWIW, i think he will go no matter how we finish, he will want another job so on that basis alone he will want to finish well and leave on his terms rather than not being offered a new contract. Doubt any decision has been made (but fuck knows) but if we don't win the Europa OR get a European spot then it's pretty clear cut for Sullivan and no new contract will be offered, BUT can see him offering a contract if we do win the Europa? Hopefully Moyes then turns it down and walks as per above. Mind you just speculation, it could be bollocks! LOL As to Moyes professionalism then i think its sound, he very much thinks of himself as a football man no way he does anything petty to have anyone (apart from the odd deluded fan!)f question that, can anyone honestly say they think he would not make substitutions to piss off the fans? its laughable to the max FFS."

Re: Moyes Out
"I would like to think that Moyes is professional and big enough not to make decisions to spite the fans, or otherwise, but would you really put it past him, I'm not so sure. Six weeks until the end of the season and nobody still has a clue if he's staying or not, and that may even include Moyes himself and the owners. Looks like we are going to have to wait right up until the end, which was always likely to be the case anyway."

Re: Moyes Out
"TBH, Klopp was the first that came to mind, he's so animated and can see him talking in interviews, but yeah someone with a deep connection to the fans so granted no the best example! But does say someone like Arteta say ""Us"" or ""our fans"" he's taken enough stick from Arsenal fans but without trawling through interviews (not doing it) i really don't know. Maybe it's fair to say Moyes doesn't like a section of our fans? The ones that constantly cսnt and give him grief but i question that dislike of West Ham fans is shared across all fans, same could be said about Sullivan, Brady and perhaps Noble even, expect they roll their eyes when getting grief but don't tar all fans with the same brush. But as to not making Subs to spite the fans, does anyone really think he would do that? To me any rational fan, be they hard line Moyes out types even, that's just bollocks. Mind you anything is possible, even if it's only a 0.1% chance its true which IMO is the case here, 99.9% Moyes would not do such a thing to spite fans.."

Re: Moyes Out
"Yea I appreciate that words can be taken out of context, same thing can happen if you text someone, but for me the way that he refers to our support definitely indicates that he doesn't feel a connection with us. As for Klopp, you probably couldn't have used a worst example, it's very clear that him and the fans there have a huge bond."

Re: Moyes Out
"Manuel I get your point TBH, but he has also praised the fans on occasion saying what great support West Ham have??? How he addresses us and not using ""Us"" for example, did he say ""Us"" or ""Our fans"" when at Everton though? I don't know the answer TBH just saying, but he may well have done. it's just a figure of speech to me rather than a definitive reason he doesn't like the fans, also not that i take note but how do other managers refer to the fans? Klopp i think does use the term ""our fans"" quite a lot, but sure thinking about it SAF said ""Man Utd fans"" quite a lot maybe it's a Scottish thing? Either way im not sure its evidence that it means he hates us. I want him gone though, contrary to how some may try and portray me as some kind of Moyes arse licker, Just dont get the constant barrage of made-up bollocks, he will go soon enough and no matter what you think we did win a Trophy under his leadership."

Re: Moyes Out
"Sydders - Not taking sides here, but I think it's pretty clear that he fucking hates us. When referring to our support he never uses the term ''us'' or ''our fans'' it's always ''the West Ham fans''' odd language to use, like we are totally separate. Then there has been the constant references about the quiet atmosphere and more recently had a pop saying maybe ''they'' want a manager who plays more exciting football, but this manager wins more (lol). He clearly thinks we are ungrateful, then there was the Moyes out banner at Fulham and the one the other week, which have clearly rattled him."

"Takashi Miike 12:49 Wed Apr 3 ""he clearly despises the fan base and anyone that dares question his methods. of course it was out of spite"" Eh! what evidence do you have that Moyes hates the fans? Well apart from your warped interpretation of what he says in interviews. ""you cringeworthy cսnt"" I'm the cringeworthy one am i? FMOB, for what daring to question that you made an idiotic schoolboy post that Moyes didnt make Subs against Spurs out of spite for the fans??? ok that makes complete sense! Fucking idiot. ""post some more marshy videos"" At least he's a rational fan and calls it how he sees it rather than your hate filled blinkered version! Even he said he could see why Moyes didn't make any changes. You're making yourself look a right Twat here but carry on you delusionl idiot."
