Re: Moyes Out
"not sure how or why qualifying for europe changes anything. he's shown he doesn't trust his players in games he deems unwinnable. he also continues to marginalize half the squad while running his favourites in to the ground. he also couldn't give a shit who or what is playing in the under age teams, or how well they consistently do. everything revolves around him. an ego maniac, anti football cսnt"

Re: Moyes Out
"Alf - I'm not convinced it's going to be as black and white as that if he stays or not. Regardless, I think it's important that the club carries on playing in Europe, we've got use to it now and it will help with any possible new managers and players. I'll take me chances. It's hard to predict how we finish because we have dropped so many points in winnable games, but if we can win tomorrow and at Palace then we will finish at least 8th. The likes of Toon and Chelsea will be dropping more points for sure."
Re: Moyes Out
"He should fuck off even if he does fluke a European spot this season, the fucking embarrassing white flag waving cսnt. I dont think the club would dare give him another contract, unless they're actually trying to get that stadium burnt down."
Re: Moyes Out
"If we qualify for Europe he stays I think? Do we sacrifice the long term need to change direction and approach as a club just because we get another Conference campaign? Remaining fixtures and injuries suggest we will just miss out and that should see the Moyes move on. Did a good job overall but we need to try a different approach to go further. May not work, may be high risk but ""no risk no reward""ù"

Re: Moyes Out
"We've got super David Moyes He knows exactly what we need 11 at the back No need to attack..... We're not gonna win it, are we?"
Re: Moyes Out
"I remember being called one of the ""òwanky Moyes out brigade' in this very forum. If whoever we get in next fails, or starts badly, it'll mainly be on Moyes for the damage he has done to the first team squad (of 14 or so players). Can't wait until he leaves."
Re: Moyes Out
"Fingers crossed we are coming to the end of this nightmare now.. He is starting to stink the place out with his shit football, shit excuses and shit fucking interviews."
Re: Moyes Out
"Scamacca like many / most strikers lacked tge speed and size/ strength to run the channels and bulldoze thru defenders. He also was not a striker to play with his back to goal and hold the ball again. Not his game hence no fit to Moyes system where central strikers have to have tremendous upper body strength and run after long diagonals, balls thru the channels or over the top and fend for themselves. 5 or 6 first team players needed over the summer unless we can also bring thru some youngsters. Defence needs a strong ball playing CB probably 2. Tosin from Fulham is a decent player but we need another and with Dinos thats 3 as injuries happen. Wide left player or new coach gives new coach a chance. Strikers and a Paqueta replacement. Gibbs White would be my choice but may he better value in Europe. Steidten and teams job Foncesca's young Lille team look good. Need to move on him asap if Steidtrn and teams dara analysis and due dliligence validates his credentials I see no progression without Moyes moving on. We could see him doing the same to a new set of arrivals as he has done to previous players he has not picked. Lack of opportunities, played out of position etc. Even if hisbrand of football was better to watch and he made Europe, you have tohave a coach or manager who is in step with the DOF and recruitment. Its just disfunctional and sub optimises everything. Basic business acumen but Sullivan not got a good track record n thst front?"

Re: Moyes Out
"I'd have been delighted to accept a 0-0 ""result""ù last night in exchange for abandoning my pride in West Ham as a side known for playing the game the right way. But in the end I didn't even get that. Moyes is destroying this club."

Re: Moyes Out
"We Were 8 minutes away from returning home with a 0-0 or seconds away from returning with a 1-0 deficit Dolph, I feel for you, I really do. You almost sound like that's worth getting excited about and seen as some great achievement (even though we couldn't manage it with ultra defensive tactics). He's ground you and many like you down to the point you'll accept that level of Footballing dross for the grateful result of losing either 1-0 or a bore draw 0-0. It's worth remembering that bar Bowen and Areola (League Keeper now anyway), we had a near fully fit Squad to choose from and with attacking players to call upon in the ever impressive Kudus, the outrageously skillful Paqueta, the workaholic bulldozer who gives everything to the West Ham cause Antonio, the vastly experienced Ings, the versatile Forward Cornet, the pacey clever Emerson on the wing and Ward-Prowse to whip in deadly crosses from anywhere - we had just 1 Corner to Leverkusens 10. And out of all our Subs including the two Forwards mentioned just now, he only brought on, yes you guesses it, 2 Defenders and 1 Defender for the excellent HotY (for me) Forward Kudus so to protect a 1-0 lead (we actually ended up losing 2-0 in the end). Just 1 shot from all that talent to choose from and he's ground our fans down to think that's acceptable. Thanks a fucking lot, Moyes, you've certainly changed our culture alright. To the point our fans expectations should now be as low as yours."

Re: Moyes Out
"Nope dolph, just not watched us this season.....and guess what Moyes is doing the same shit.....so you don't even need to watch to know what's going on......"
Re: Moyes Out
"I think injuries have hampered Scamacca with us and Atalanta, not big ones but lots of smaller ones. Gasperini did give him a kick up the arse previously but he appears now to be 100%. I think the way we play makes it almost impossible for lots of strikers."
Re: Moyes Out
Goose - fair enough. I'll hold my hands up and say I'm going by what i saw with us and what his current manager has said about him. SoH - you'd have no idea because you haven't watched us play for years.

Re: Moyes Out
"Were Haller & Scamacca lazy? Or just not given any service unless they were 'scraps' which lets face it is not any striker of any worth's game chasing lost fucking causes, or in their case no fucking cause to chase. Moyes is the problem for ANY striker.....he doesn't want to attack......that's what strikers do and rely on.......hence they go all 'Mardy' on him......converted wingers work because that IS their game......running after lost causes......."

Re: Moyes Out
I've been lurking on various chats today and the Moyes cultists are out in force with the excuses for yesterday and squad issues and defence of Moyes. I wonder if they support West Ham and its traditions or Moyesball FC
Re: Moyes Out
"I was thinking more Benny and Fornals. Scamacca and Haller obviously weren't dogshit, but they're also lazy cunts who want it on a plate, and I'm not sure any premiership side really accommodates that sort of striker? Man City aside."
Re: Moyes Out
"Can't really be bothered but dolph... The 'dog shit forwards' that moyes got rid of, are they the ones scoring for fun in Europe this week? It wasn't them that were dog shit. Do you really think Moyes signed Kudus, Alvarez and Mavropanos? No one is saying Moyes vetoed Osman... I think it is accepted that was Sullivan after advice from Silkman but you can guarantee Moyes was delighted to get the fraud Phillips in."

Re: Moyes Out
"Really was shocked and very much saddened to see the effect the grinding negative tactics are having on some now. Paqueta especially looks like a dejected, petulant shadow of his former self, and it's beginning to spread to others like Kudus and Emerson. This season couldn't end soon enough; whoever takes over is going to needs months to sort this mess out."
Re: Moyes Out
"Ha. Wasn't fishing. We've got to a point with our supporters whereby unless Moyes bags himself a Europa League Cup, he's fucked. Current small squad - his fault. This is despite the main attacking options that he got rid of being dogshit, but absorbing significant wages. If he hadn't sold in January - his fault for keeping shit players and not signing better players. The good players that were signed last year - Tim gets the praise The players signed in the last 24 months who haven't done so well - fucking Moyes' fault. Didn't sign Osman - Moyes vetoed it the cսnt Didn't sign Carlos Forbes/ Borges - Moyes fault for dithering Forbes / Borges is doing shit in Holland - let's not talk about that anymore"
