"Stuart, we was told the move was made to make new better history""¶""¶so shut the fuck up""¶.."
Re: Moyes Out
"I see Stuart Pearce has questioned fans judgement and gone down the ""you've never had it so good""ù as we won a cup route? Again lacks balance and is about loyalty to Moyes and yes he has brought us some decent seasons but aside from the style we are simply saying that if you look at our league form its in decline over the 4 years and likely the end of European football despite a lot of money spent. So why would we think he will be able to sustain ourleague position and European football and even push us higher. And of course we dont believe having the ball less than the opposition most weeks is a formula to do that. Ex pros and media look back whereas we look forward. Oh and btw I read somewhere that Simon Jordan is a Salthouse client so hardly objective"

"That is positive isn't it? Young player of ours doing well, whilst a liability of an expensive loan is not to be seen near the first team?"
Re: Moyes Out
Massive Depression haven't you got anything positive to say about the club you claim to support?

"To all those poor saps who took Moyes side over Scamacca look away now... https://www.hammers.news/news/ex-west-ham-striker-gianluca-scamacca-scores-another-cracker-but-his-manager-echoes-david-moyes-yet-again/ The people who run our Club are incredibly dense. Proper thick as pigshit to let this shit hot Striker slipped through our hands and then lose out on him when selling him on barely a year later. Great work, ""Moyesie""!"

"We played a 4-4-2 in name only against Fulham. Ings spent most of his time playing deep in the 10 role and Paqueta was even deeper chasing the ball like a DM. You can call a turd a gold bar but, in reality, its still a turd."

Re: Moyes Out
Conte had Tottenham 4th but imagine all of their fans prefer Postecogolou having them below that (& sinking) Cant recall them being told at the time or since being told 'careful what you wish/ed for' Watched Carraghers analysis of Emery's tactics at Arsenal to draw them out and ATTACK Thought it was a contrast to Moyes tactic of ... "Massive Attack 1.34 it's quite simple mate, Simon Jordan, Jim White & David Moyes all share the same agent Six more games to go and he's gone, let's just hope that the Dwarfs addiction with old out of touch managers is over and we appoint one of the new breed like Slot"

Re: Moyes Out
"It's pretty obvious that Moyes has run his course with us. From what I've heard the players are all frustrated with his playing style/man management. The difference between us and leverkusen was chalk and cheese with a well drilled team playing a quick pass and move style that we couldn't cope with. To persevere with him next season through fear of change would be a disaster as we start a club-defining rebuild after Paqueta goes. New manager, 4/5 quality new players and a new playing style would enthuse everyone. Moyes staying and money wasted on fading pros would sound be a disaster. Sliding doors moment but i don't trust Sullivan to choose the right one"
Re: Moyes Out
"If I wanted to ensure a club remained where it was and no threat to mine I might be tempted to repeat a clique like that :-). These pundits are really saying ""this is as good as it gets""ù for West Ham. They are not entirely wrong, our history is of a club that sits in the lower reaches if the league, gets relegated now. And then and eespecially in the Prem era which is only where their time horizon spans. But the idea is that we won our little cup and day out and should be satisfied and be happy not to be fighting or getting relegated. The audacity of a club with a large fan base trying to do what Villa have done is over ambitious, not knowing our place and threatening the status quo. Villa won the European cup once and title pre-premiership means they are not quite so entitled and pretentious you see. And in Shrearers case, he like lots of ex pros possibly sees Moyee as the last link to a previous era when he was playing. And Newcastle dont need any other clubs hampering their attempt to get in the rich 6 or 7 and winning things. Its all about Alan :-) I want us to do as Villa have but sustain it and be an unwanted intruder into the cartel that is Premiership football. May never happen but lets have a go as some of us will be dead soon . Happy Tuesday all :-)"
Re: Moyes Out
''Be careful what you wish for'' is only EVER directed at West Ham. I've never heard it said about any other club.
Re: Moyes Out
"Does that twat never learn? Shearer said the exact same thing about Allardyce. ""All the teams he's left have plummeted afterwards. Look what happened to Blackburn, Bolton & Newcastle when Big Sam left. Be careful what you wish for, West Ham fans.""ù The following season under Bilic we finished 7th, in what most fans agree was one of our most entertaining and enjoyable seasons ever."

Re: Moyes Out
Did Shearer spout 'careful what you wish for' when Steve Bruce was going to be replaced by Eddie Howe at Newcastle? OF COURSE NOT Until someone says I wish Moyes was OUR manager then I dont bother listening to them praising him

"I see Shearer was spouting the usual 'be careful what you wish for' regarding Moyes on MOTD2. If Howe was offered the England job would Shearer want Moyes in charge of his beloved Newcastle, not a chance!"

"Said it before that if the price to be paid for another season in Europe is Moyes staying at the club then I'd rather go without. We will not fo forward with this cսnt in charge. I try not to hate him as a person as I don't know him but fuck me, i have an ex who is absolute poison yet I would tolerate her again rather than see Moyes carry on."

Re: Moyes Out
Can't wait to see the back of him now. I just want to see a younger more dynamic manager at the helm even if we are lower in the table.
Re: Moyes Out
"Its over lads ( only my opinion mind ) Admirable, well intentioned optimism based on hope is ignoring the facts and data. The tiny squad, type of players Moyes recruited ( especially in the first 3 or so transfer windows of his tenure) and more importantly the ones he plays regularly, has us out of options, energy etc. The injuries and suspensions ultimately exposed the poor squad management this season but even in the previous season, the treatment of some players getting zero minutes also impacted. Downes, Kehrer, Fornals, Benrahma and Cornet and some youngsters. Under a different coach would have been used and they all could contribute. They have quality but used in the wrong way of simply ostracised for reasons only Moyes knows. Even Oggy could have got some minutes and renewing for a year was a waste of time and money. The one dimensional tactical approach has obviously also been part of the decline in league form over 2 years aside from the 3 months before xmas where our results contradicted all the usual stats and we got more than our fair share of good fortune( Arsenal, Spurs , Burnley away come to mind, Boutnemouth at home iirc) . On a side note, Moyes has been trying to get us keeping possession better this season and playing thru the lines especially recently but the players picked are not all suited to it ( lack of pace , technical ability, and too many defensive minded due to that squad mgmt again ) and we have leaked goals galore as a result. So here we are hoping desperately to get a couple of wins and other results to go our way. If that did happen would it mean Moyes staying on? Look, he did a good job overall but stayed a season too long. Its as simple as that. Got us out of the mire we were in, had us punching above our weight during the COVID season and half of the next one but teams worked us out and Moyes effective tactics were no longer effective. Got us a trophy and for that I personally will always be grateful for. Yes probably was one we had a good chance of winning based on quality of teams in it but nonetheless he did it. The next 2 weeks especially will be painful and it will be just pkaying out the season for the rest. All that matters now, is Sullivan, the board and Steidten being swift and resolute. We need to be ready to start a multi year rebuild asap. As soon as tye final whistle blows on our last game the wheels need to be set in motion. We dont have a history of moving fast and planning ahead especially under the Sullivan era and that is a worry. Talk of a board vote on Moyes a particular concern. Management by committee will cause delay. Anyway, Crystal Palace wont be easy and even Luton as they are still fighting to survive. Getting Bowen fit is a must but we do seem to be on the proverbial ""death march""ù now under Moyes as players will sense his time is up and motivation, energy tend to suffer as a resukt?"
