Re: Moyes Out
"Does anyone seriously believe that the 1st half performance would have been the same had we came back from Germany with a 0-0? He had them playing the way they did because he HAD to, his choices were shit or bust. As someone else said, he can't not see how electric that place was last night, all because of the teams commitment to win a game rather than not lose it."

"Gary Strodders shank 12:17 Fri Apr 19 ''I think it ls now time to call time on Moyes tenure. I would rather forego the a season in the conference league to begin that transition to rebuild and implement ideas laying the foundations for future seasons.'' Mate, we ain't finishing in a Conf spot now, that's gone. It's either 7th or possibly even 6th spot now for that, we would need to finish above either Manu or Newcastle, or both, then there is Chelsea, not happening."

Re: Moyes Out
"Let's get one thing absolutely crystal, such is Moyes dislike of our Club by constantly belittling our proud history, is that he won the Cup for himself and not for us. The arrogant cսnt paints himself as our most successful manager ever and thinks we only enjoyed European success under his watch, even though West Ham under Greenwood won us the Cup Winners Cup - you know, the Trophy we competed in and won back then only if you managed to win the FA Cup the season before and not via the back door in the League like we did in the Conference Cup. Same going for Lyall who almost pulled off a similar feat back in 75/76 and all in real style and gutsy performances. Not against mostlyLeague one and Championship sides until the Final."
Re: Moyes Out
"Last night summed up why its the end of the road, 30 mins in everyone saying 'why don't we always play like this' 'If we played like this against Fulham' etc etc We are simply a better side going at teams winning it high up, taking the pressure off the defence. How he doesnt realise that is baffling. Tactically last night though you could see after 15-20 mins we'd be fucked on 60 mins, we looked so leggy so i looked to the scoreboard and it was 62 mins. We then had to watch 20 mins of us looking completley fucked camped in our own half when we need to score. Then he brings on Cornet 84th minute. A truly astounding approach. He then takes off Alvarez instead of Soucek what the fuck was that all about? Soucek was fucking dreadful on the ball same as always. Alvarez was superb, and although leggy a far better option on the ball for the final stages and as a anchorman to go all out attack It's also mid-april and not one youngster has been given opportunities. A few now should have plenty of apperances under thier belts and be able to be a viable option at this stage of the season. The small squad is because he doesn't rotate or use his squad at all"

Re: Moyes Out
I know it was a one-off and he had little choice but to throw caution to the wind. But if Moyes genuinely set us up like that last night - in almost every game - then he really wouldn't have such a negative reputation amongst our fans. The problem is he ALWAYS has to be forced into that sort of change. It just isn't in his footballing instincts. Give him a blank sheet and a 0-0 start (which he has most weeks) and he will always get ten men behind the ball in a low block - as we know only too well. It's a shame. I enjoyed that first half last night more than almost any other game we've played for ages.

Re: Moyes Out
"BLBL, Spot on. We certainly had them rattled in that first half. But, you're right, it's so difficult to play for 90 minutes with the level of intensity that we played in the first 45 minutes It was gut-busting and, eventually, you run out of steam. Especially this late in the season, and even more so when you give the ball back so easily (which we do too often). And I guess that's one of the many paradoxes of Moyes. Even when we play with that intensity and get on the front foot - like we did last night but do so infrequently under his park-the-bus approach - he does not sign, nor coach, the sort of players who keep the ball well or his tactics twould allow. As everybody has long known since Barca tika-taka'd their way through life, when you're pressing high up the pitch, all the hard work is done without the ball, and your few periods of 'rest' are when you have - and keep - the ball. But we can't keep it, especially when Paqueta is not in the side. So we got no periods of ""rest"" last night, and eventually petered out. It was a shame, because that first 45 minutes was full of passion, intensity and physicality - and we had them. Properly had them by the neck. If Moyes was a little more positive all of the time, he wouldn't have to be so prickly in his press conferences - because people wouldn't dislike his approach so much."
Re: Moyes Out

Re: Moyes Out
I think it ls now time to call time on Moyes tenure. The squad desperately needs refreshing with the dead wood set adrift. An early call and recruitment of a new manager would give him the time to bed in and begin to prepare for next season. I would rather forego the a season in the conference league to begin that transition to rebuild and implement ideas laying the foundations for future seasons.. The big problem for the board is recruiting the right candidate to take us forward.

Re: Moyes Out
"I think the first half last night was a case of 'this is what you could've won' High energy and good pressing all over the pitch - as it turned out , it wasn't sustainable for 60mins, never mind 90. The thing with pressing is, you do it so they end up surrendering possession. Problem with West Ham is, we're very good at giving the ball back to the other team. Quickly. We didn't really lay a glove on them in the second half - which is totally bizarre, given we were well in the game and had them rattled. Our defence sat back too deep and didn't squeeze up to compress the space. We started to settle into our factory setting and let them have the ball and once you do that you're fucked. The mentality last night needed to be as it was in the first half, for the full 90mins. Whilst it's obvious they are a decent side - winning the league and so far being unbeaten is no mean feat. They're not Man City or Arsenal - so when pressed, they looking panicked, we definitely had them on the ropes. Think Moyes and the players will have a few regrets after that second half performance. I think a 10th place finish, with the money we've spent and players we have - will hopefully be enough to put us out of our misery."

"Why is this disgusting man still here?? A send off against Luton?? I'll be throwing a load of vegetables at the cսnt. Just fuck off already, you ain't wanted!"
Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes is a handbrake on our team. His press conference last night also highlighted that nasty, chippy arrogant edge which makes him unlikeable. He'll be slagging west ham off the minute we show him the door. Last night we went out swinging but the damage was done in a classic Moyes ""Top 6"" performance in Germany. Be interesting to see where he goes next - wonder if Shearer will lobby for him to takeover at Newcastle?......"
Re: Moyes Out
"He has disillusioned our youth players, fans and our attacking players. The squad depth cost us in the Europa last time and now he has an even thinner squad. He is clueless and needs to go now but Sullivan will wait so he doesn't have to pay him off."

Re: Moyes Out
Ive just seen his post match press conference where he gets shirty with the reporter for asking a pretty normal question and I don't understand where this dour jock prick gets his arrogance from. He is such an average manager and such is his mediocrity he constantly trots out getting to 3 quarter finals (one in the spastic cup) as some sort of godly achievement. I have never harboured this much hatred towards one man in all my life. It is unbearable how detestable this cսnt is and I hope he gets sacked before the end of the season just so the smug cսnt can't come out and say it was his decision to leave. Prick

Re: Moyes Out
"Aye, Ron. (Iron?!) Looked at another way, we almost did it whilst playing with Dad's Army and without Paqueta, Emerson and Areola. Fabianski - 39 Ogbonna - 35 (36 in a few weeks time) Cresswell - 34 Coufal - 31 Antonio - 34 (my MotM) Zouma/Ward-prowse/Soucek 30 next season And yet Moyes still reluctantly didn't help out the side by utilising all his Subs unless he had to die to injury, Aguerd, or very late on - Cornet in the 85th minute. As for Alonso, he freshens his side up at half time with 2 young whippersnappers that make a telling impact 2nd half as we eventually run out of steam understandably. Such clueless, prehistoric, negligent management considering the circumstances. He absolutely runs his XI in to the ground and you just can't keep doing that at this level, especially now when Teams are allowed 5 subs and yep, you've guessed it, Alonso uses all 5 last night. He also used 4 subs to our 2 subs in the 1st Leg and Mavropanos subbed due to injury and brings Kudus off for Ben Johnson late on again! Hahahahaha Moyes you clown. ü§°"

Re: Moyes Out
"Typical shit subs, fancy taking off 1 of our best player's on the night the impressive Alvarez (Soucek would have made more sense) and only far too late for the often ignored Cornet to really make a big difference. Compare that then to Alonso's very proactive Half-Time double substitutions after a 1st half kicking by us, aided by a raucous West Ham faithful (1 of the best atmospheres for many a year) that included goalscorer Ping-pong. Predictably left far too much too late and the damage was sadly done by being such a gutless fanny in the 1st leg, which even our own players Ward-Prowse and Fabianski both admitted. So fucking gutted but so fucking proud of the monster effort all the pkayers put in. What could have been... Enjoy your last remaining games in charge Moyes and no more endless defensive dogshit Football. Just couldn't stomach another season of it. I certainly am very careful what I wish for and that you are gone forever. *waves*"

Re: Moyes Out
Re the jock's press conference I don't suppose anyone asked him about Scamacca's two goals against Liverpool and how we managed to make a huge loss selling him after one season at the London stadium.
