"Yeah, I'm sure he meant shots at our goal. Looking it up on fbref, the number of shots we've faced is actually 539, which is 16 shots per game. That's the 4th highest in the top 5 European leagues, behind Luton, Sheffield Utd & Man Utd. Our own shots at goal stat ranks us 14th in the PL. Oh well, the stats might be shit but at least the football's great to watch ;)"

"Chedylan ""I don't think we are a club that is going to carry loads and loads of really top players, so we can change one of our really good players for another at absolutely the same level"". When I see quotes like these from Moyes , I know whoever Tim picks as our new head coach , the club will be better off for it. It just goes to show what he thinks of the Club and it's potential to do much better but he will never believe it can be possible. Just little old West Ham punching well above our weight all thanks to his limited abilities. Fuck off now, Moyes, you ain't fucking welcome, you never was...."

Damning statistic that we have had the 2nd most shots on goal (330) in the top 4 leagues!

"Nicked from Facebook üö®Admins opinion (Luc/De Gea)üö® A message to the media ""What more do you want?""ù ""The fans expect too much""ù ""There is no West Ham way""ù That's all we've heard from the media, pundits and ex players alike for the last two years. Belittling, ignorant, patronising statements. Even worse at times it's come from certain ex players who should know a lot better. Shame on all of them. Last night encapsulated what being West Ham is. A massive slice of the West Ham way ethos served up in the form of a humble pie for all those that have condemned a certain element of the hammers fan base as greedy and delusional. From the very first whistle to the very last and beyond, last night we were West Ham UNITED. We do not expect top 4 every year. We do not expected to play like prime Man City every game. We do not expect to win trophies like they're being given away to anyone that can dodge 115 plus FFP charges. We do not expect to win by default. All the fans demand is that we have a team that gives 100% every game, that the manager plays a style of football that helps them to achieve that, and an experience that doesn't leave fans wondering why they bother to make the effort most weeks. It won't always be perfect but we're not asking for perfect, if anything simply the bare minimum a lot of the time. It's not rocket science and it's not as if we haven't said all this before. But in fairness, what if we do start to expect the best? The owners shoehorned us into a 60k stadium on the premise that, actually, we will experience the very best. ""World class team in a world class stadium""ù 8 years on and still waiting, so forgive us if we feel a little aggrieved at times. We have NEVER demanded the impossible, we have only demanded the very least, with the best simply being a bonus. When ex players speak out in the media questioning our loyal fan base it is very clear they have forgotten their connections to the club and live in the ""winning is all that matters""ù bubble. I find it particularly funny when commentators criticise fans opinions only to ironically repeat the exact same criticisms themselves as the games go on. I attended the game last night and I have never, ever known an atmosphere like it. I'm not just talking about the noise levels in the stands, I'm talking about the fans like myself who took the opportunity while Cresswell was receiving treatment in the first half to dart to the toilets after holding in it in because they didn't want to leave their seats because they were enjoying the game so much and rush back as quick as they could. I'm talking about the fans immediately clapping the players and singing bubbles straight after Frimpong scored his annoyingly deflected shot, to which the players responded by clapping the appreciation. It was wholesome. It was beautiful in its essence. It was West Ham. To the media that are obsessed and only care about winning, the premier league, the top four, the money, the greed, the corruption, the controversy, the dilution of the working class grassroots of the game""¶ up yours. I feel sorry that you simply cannot fathom what football is at its very core. On the day those in their ivory towers decided to kill what little magic there was left of the oldest cup competition in the world, our performance and atmosphere felt like a massive middle finger to everything that is wrong with the game. Last night we witnessed football and everything good that comes with it, and we loved it. We gave the soulless bowl a soul last night. We've done it before and we will do it again. It's what we do best. Up the hammers."

"from the standard: Moyes insists, however, that the lack of midseason transfer activity is not to blame for the Leverkusen defeat: ""We all know we would have liked to add if the right things were available,""ù he said. "" But I would hate to think [it] was a discussion because we didn't have enough players."" ""I don't think we are a club that is going to carry loads and loads of really top players, so we can change one of our really good players for another at absolutely the same level"" ""If I am being honest, if I had my way I would have smaller squads anyway. I would rather have a smaller squad. I always have done. You can get more problems with a bigger squad."" And that is why you are a very limited and out of date Dinaosaur incapable of coping with a bigger and better Squad of player's than you're used too - Also see his pitiful Man Utd experience with an embarrassment of riches! Fuck me, he's not even coy and denying it anymore. Telling some of us what we knew for years about him."

There is sweet spot between a big squad .... didnt Chelsea under Potter have to expand their training ground change rooms to fit all the cunts in? .... and being positively anorexic because some players are excluded & youngsters make token bench appearances at best. I am relaxed about Steidten recommending someone who is on the same page as him who he can work with. Bring it on

"The ability to keep all players ""happy""ù is difficult but its understanding that psychology is a huge part of sport and being able to communucate effectively and trying to get the best out of every member of the squad. Explain where you think they can inprove but equally fvcking ""listen""ù to players too. Work with them and develop them. Moyes sounds like ( we dont know as we dont see him at work every day ) like an arrogant yet ignorant and also insecure man who is bizarrely, for someone in his role, not a team player. Its all about David Moyes, he's never wrong, cannot say he doesnt know or doesnt understand. A man who has achieved a little success but avoided failure ( Sunderland and Real Sociedad the exceptions) by military style leadership and adherence to a strict system that never changes. Great for the short term ""rescue""ù or stabilisation of a club but only gets you so far. The human factor or dimension is a low priority. Treating players like machines and avoiding use of ""soft skills""ù because he doesnt have them or feels unconfortable. Moyes may be just the narcissistic , Machiavellian fcvkwit we thought he was?"

"""You can get more problems with a bigger squad."" There is an element of truth in that as the ""òmore problems' would be caused by having a bigger squad but only selecting from maybe 14 players. The problem here is Moyes. All cubs have players that aren't trusted by the manager, but we seem to have a manager who distrusts a larger number of players than any other manager. Admittedly I don't look at other clubs in the same detail, but we have an extensive list of good players that Moyes has cast aside for no obvious reason other than he doesn't like them."

"I listened to R 5 on Friday. With Darren Fletcher giving a passionate reason for sticking with replays in the FA Cup. Kevin Nolan was on again giving his opinions. His thick answer to this was seed the comp and spread the money around. No real thought, something the WH dugout thought over a cuppa. This guy is as thick and one dimensional as he looks. He gives out the same crap as Moyes. He couldn't really speak properly as his tongue is wedged up the arse of Moyes. We've all seen him on the touchline for 10 minutes with that fucking ipad bringing on the cold sub in the 86th minute. The guy has no opinion or tactics of his own, just follows and agrees with Moyesball. Its funny how no one has pulled him up. He'll not get a job after this either."

"Johnson 6:14 Sun Apr 21 Yep, a major factor behind our inability to progress to the final of 2 Europa competitions but its also has a material impact in games with Moyes unable to change things when the opposition get on top or they make changes. He likes a small squad because it fits his one dimensional tactics and thinking. That Standard interview is a real admission of his limitations. Its this that makes it obvious he cannot take us further. Steidten must be aware but the football illiterate Sullivan Im not so sure he understands ?"

Terry h . That guy's nationality has nothing to do with it . The clubs greatest ever manager lyall was a jock . So was 3 of the 85/86 team . No doubt you're the type that would be screaming like a queen. if Moyes called you an English cսnt

"That quote from the Standard just sums the cսnt up. For the Moyesiah disciples pretending it was nasty Sullivan taking his players away and not signing anyone have a fucking look at that. A few of us have been calling him out for this for 3 years and people have been digging us out as per. BUT AS PER WE WERE RIGHT. He's admitting he can't deal with a squad, he hopes it's still the early 80s when you only got one sub. He fucked us in 2022 by weakening the squad and not buying a striker in Jan when it was painfully obvious we needed one. Frankfurt were the worst team we played in the knock outs but the players were dead as he didn't build a squad. He fucked the league up in 2023 for the same reasons but managed to win the Europa Conference (let's not forget it's the weakest of the tournaments and we looked shit through a lot of it). He's also fucked up the league and the Europa League again by ONCE MORE in 2024 weakening the squad and refusing to play a striker on ¬£125k a week who have impressed when they have played lately to prove a point when we needed to try and stay in Europe. This all makes sense now with players being cast aside and constructively dismissed by him when he doesn't want them. If he doesn't think you're first 11 he don't wanna know you. The bloke's a dinosaur cսnt. Thanks and all that but fuck off to somewhere with less ambition thanks. Anyone thinking he's up to it after this is a moron."
