I think it only benefits Sullivan's ego. He's said before that he doesn't like sacking managers and he probably thinks it would make him look worse were we to sack him and then possibly have a poor season next year than if we were to simply let his contract run down. We've seen the exact same situation before with Allardyce so I wouldn't worry too much about the club being undecided as to whether to keep him. He'll be gone next month. I'll wish him well and when he's gone he'll deserve the status of our more successful manager in recent years. But this doesn't mean he is immune to criticism. If anything being able to criticise should have given him the chance to adapt. Oh well.
