Re: Moyes Out
"For trophies Moyes is an outlier For points he's nearer the nest than the worst For entertainment. Depends on your value system, as shown by the various opinions. He is one of the longest serving managers at any club in the PL and has served well. He will always split opinions for ever more. As for Tim Steidten. We have improved in the league a tiny bit from last year points wise and have had our worst European season. Lets hope he has something good coming as we need some really good players."

Re: Moyes Out
"Agree that unfortunately Chelsea are probably over their worst... on the pitch at least. They've got something like 12 first teamers, or at least first team squad members, on their long-term injury list and are extremely unlikley to be this bad again for a while"
Re: Moyes Out
My biggest worry is that this turns into a repeat of the 2013 Carlton Cole fiasco. We have someone out of contract. Announce it's not being renewed. Endless reports about upgrades. Fail miserably and renew the original contract. The resulting meltdown on this site would be hilarious!

Re: Moyes Out
He's already been told he's going. No manager in a job would put up with the AMORIM saga . Not even him . The more I read into the AMORIM move the more I suspect it's nailed on . At no point does he deny he's coming here . Only regret it's come to light. I was told month's ago there's huge investment going into the club. Slowly but surely the pieces are moving into place I suspect. . We shall see .

Re: Moyes Out
"joyo - Chelsea are a basket case, no doubt, but fancy they may be over the worse (obviously I appreciate they have the FFP thing hanging over them still) They are on a decent run now, Arsenal game aside, I think Poch is a good coach and for me Palmer is already world class. Can't say I fancy us much week, and of course Moyes will be terrified of them."

"On the bright side, there's only another 300 odd minutes left to endure this cunts idea of football. I have mates who support a variety of clubs and not one of them has said that they would like Moyes in charge at their club. And that includes Sheffield Wednesday and Luton fans."

"It's no surprise you have a losers mentality regarding this football club, joyo. It reflects your life."
Re: Moyes Out
"Manuel 10.33 It's always quiet with the early kos as nobody is pissed Never seen so many half and half scarves at a game Didn't think we played that bad, think we will miss out on Europe, but still could finish above Chelsea who are a club in decline"

Re: Moyes Out
"I read DM said after yesterday ""We are in a fantastic position in the League""ù ?! If true that's quite an incredible thing to say. We're likely to finiah 10th at best. It's only that Chelsea have had a horrendous season along with Brighton also Man Utd below par that we've been anywhere near the Euro spots at all. He's delusional. Board need to tell him they're not renewing and let DM have the opportunity to say he will walk away for a fresh challenge, so we can start the rebuild with a new man asap. This clearly hasn't been communicated to him so it will be left to the end of the season and things will drag on. We need a full transfer window and pre season for the new man."

Re: Moyes Out
"I just hope a new manager can restore the players to the levels of possession and passing and technical skills nearly every other side in the Premier League seems to possess, and they haven't been too ingrained in to mindlessly funneling back to the six yard box whenever we aren't in possession (which feels like it's nearly all of the 90 minutes)"

Re: Moyes Out
Good result but another low block 29% possession timid effort Went to 2-2 with 15 mins left and no positive moves to WIN the game. Fans just want something to get behind .... hopefully the new manager is more in sync with that

"Indeed joyo, a fantastic result, one that all but guarantees we have fuck all to play for now for the rest of the season, whilst boring everyone to fucking tears in the process. Bravo, get the bunting out."

Re: Moyes Out
Bit quiet on here did we not lose? Only playing team playing to win Premiership Must be something we can moan about as we didn't get stuffed 6 - 0 What a shit result
Re: Moyes Out
"Earth's concussion period is done. Moyes literally has no intention of bringing on 6 of his 9 subs. Phillips should never play for the club again and has been an absolute disaster signing. Having Earthy as a sub, warming up along the sidelines would've at least given the fans something to cheer and as easy win for Moyes. He's too stupid to understand."
Re: Moyes Out
"Burnley went to Old Trafford today and were very very unlucky to not come away with a win. Manchester United are clearly struggling this season but our manager sets up against them like it's prime Ferguson era. He's really done the absolute minimum you'd expect with the support he's had on transfers. Wasted a fuck load of money on Phillips too, even more ludicrous when he let Downes go out on loan."

Re: Moyes Out
"I forgot to add the bit where he doesn't even know how to use Subs properly, especially when Teams are now granted up to 5 Subs per game. He prefers to use either 0-2 a game and usually only if injured, or very late in games leaving a player little chance to get in to the action. Even his buying record isn't great Kudus, Paqueta, Scamacca are nothing to do with him whilst the likes of Hugill and Phillips are. He has had some success stories though which I do credit him for and that is Soucek (albeit limited passer), Coufal and Bowen which was the golden nugget, once in a lifetime find that has got him out of so much trouble it's unbelievable. Without Bowen he'd have been long gone years ago."
