"If a good player becomes shit no one has a problem with dropping them. But when it's a manager people get all gooey eyed about their past achievements and refuse to drop them. Why is that? If they are making shit decisions constantly it doesn't matter what they did in the past. They're driving the club off a cliff and they have to be stopped from doing that. I don't get what the problem is in saying that? Two things can be right, he did a good job a few years back but in his bread and butter job (the league) he has been shit for a very long time now. He has the really strange habit of only getting points before Xmas and then barely winning league games in the second half of the season. That's 3 season in a row he's done that. He's used Europe to cover up his poor league form. He's also got zero extenuating circumstances to fall back on. He's been here so long he has been responsible for about 8 transfer windows. He could have directed the u21 coaches to give him the players he needed but didn't bother. He's overused players and not got backups or replacements. Finally this year he let go of 3 first team players and spent millions on a loan for the worst professional player I've ever seen in my life put on a West Ham shirt. Even worse than that shitty goal keeper pellegrini had, and that's saying something. I have no sympathy for arrogant, gas lighting multi millionaires who can't do their job properly. Fuck them. They earn enough to handle this shit. As for lopetegui, I don't know much. But what I do know is given the resources Moyes had, any manager could have done what he's done or better with the current setup. So it's always going to be an upgrade whoever who they got in. Moyes tactical coaching ability is not for this era."

"I think even Sullivan finally realised the managerial situation was untenable after yet another feeble display and thrashing. Moyes did well to get us to 6th and 7th and win us the Europa Conference trophy last season, but we have gone backwards in the league over the last two seasons and defensive fragility is very worrying. And the squad situation is a disgrace. As others have said, Lopetegui and Steidten have a huge squad rebuilding job on their hands for next season."

"I see he referred to us as a great club in his statement, but throughout his tenure all he ever did was belittle us and put us down, had no respect for the fanbase (proven with the Liverpool QF) and never bothered to learn much about our history. Just fuck off out of it you cսnt, never hated a manager so much."

"Some of the messages of thanks I've read, Christ anyone would think he'd been doing it for sweet FA & not millions of quid a year. He was arsehole lucky he kept his job for as long & only did cos Sullivan is a tight cսnt. The best manager tag can get in the bin, hardly anything that great to beat in the PL era. Good riddance to the dinosaur"

"Good riddance to him, the last 2 years of shit served up in the league has tarnished his legacy in my opinion. Talks of an amazing send off and leaving a club legend are wide of the mark for me Thanks for Prague but I can't wait for him to fuck off and take his turgid football and baffling press conferences with him I suspect our very talented group of youngsters will feel the same"

"David L 11:24 Mon May 6 We are better off though? When he rejoined we were in the relegation zone. I think we were actually bottom! We've spent most of this season hovering around 7-8th, and have won a European cup. Its not like he took us over when we were high-flying and now we're shit."

Benni scored a brace yesterday against Lille. I will always wonder about him and Fornals and their dip in form in their last 18 months with Moyes.

"I'll be voting Alverez for hammer of the year the blokes been mustard appreciates us and puts in a shift every game. Picks up a few fellows as he's now one of very few that gives a shit. The fact that his a TS recommended signing pissed Moyes right off. TS is light years in front of Moyes when it comes to signing players. TS is on the ball, wised up with European talant. Moyes has been chasing Phillips and fucking maguire.for yonks that's how ambitious he is subs alverez off at any given opportunity.. Fucking bonkers.i for one can't wait to see the back of the stubborn prick ,won't be getting any kind of send off from me. Let's see how many half decent clubs will be queuing up to give the mighty moysie a gig."

"I'm struggling to think of any manager that could be a worse fit for Steidten than Moyes. I'm hopeful that Lopetegui will have a much better plan, and significantly better management skills, than the jockosaurus. Not even bothered about our last two games now as they are effectively nothing games. The only hope I have is that some of the youngsters get a chance. Suspect it'll be more Moyesball and a white flag vs. Manchester City."

The hope has to be that JLo & Tim are on the same page & we don't have the shambles of cross purposes where the manager is wanting Maguire & K Phillips & the DoF wants actual footballers that are useful in 2024

If the next manager tries to play football and we get relegated like Kompany say I am happy with that a 100 x more than watching moyesball death by a thousand cuts for another season. Felt like a voodoo doll at times with moyes the witch doctor shoving pins in me.
