I was there!
The gig where they topped the set off with Dirty Boy was immense.
Played in a band with Bob Leith a year or so after that and he said learning the set(s) was the most difficult thing he had ever done.
I can only imagine how tricky it must have been playing along to those pre-set keyboard tracks. Just a brilliant band, led by a genius

My favourite album of his Empath as it has songs from all the genres he does from crushing maximalist metal to show tunes and ambient passages.The live show for that tour was superb and, according to him, the first time he has toured with computer backing tracks since SYL The resulting live album is definitely worth getting; the live version of Spirits will collide makes my spine tingle.
