just saw an interview with lee carsley and aside from having a manner more befitting someone getting a job centre grilling after a couple of missed appointments, he did pick a football up with one hand from the top through sheer grip strength. you'd never see southgate do that.

I see the likes of Foden, Watkins & another (Saka?) have withdrawn from the squad
Personally feel that if you are named in an international squad & withdraw you should miss the next Premier league game
Because of his recent injury Mexico have excused Alvarez so he can stay in London & work on his fitness.
