Bowen more shots on target in 5 minutes than Kane in 85? Kane has clearly been a top striker but his sharpness is going and we need to find the next England striker. Not sure the likes of Watkins is the answer. Pity Haaland chose Norway, born in Leeds wasn't he?

TAA is a player that's about 25% as good as he thinks he is who can neither defend nor is physical enough to play in midfield. Yet everyone seems determined to shoe horn the flash prick in somewhere. One good ball every three games ain't good enough. His free kick prowess is a myth. He doesn't have a position. What's he even doing in the squad?

For every world class pass he produces there are far too many loose, lazy balls played by TAA, also not keen how he drifts inside thus pushing Rice outside to cover, losing the team width. He isn't a good defender either to be fair. Not sure if the good outweighs the bad at international level with him.

Agree re Pickford. I think we played it back to Pickford for him to launch it upfield after every kick off in the Euros. Sunday League tactics.

In the middle with Rice and Mainoo.

Where does Foden fit in would be a more valid question.

You as what it’s it got to do with me, Vexed?

I’m fucking enjoying the game, and that happens to include Declan’s class.

What about you son?

Carsley had already improved on Southgate in my view in that he’s given Pickford instructions to pass to a team mate, whereas Southgate was quite happy for him to hoof it as far as he could most times.

I’d be celebrating - it’s not like the Irish have been respectful.

83% of the ball after 40 minutes. Gareth is tutting and shaking his head.

Come on Vexed. You don’t actually celebrate when you totally outclass someone you have a connection with do you. Not unless you’re a bit of a cսnt.

It's nice to see them working hard, but why the fuck does Kane feel the need to track a winger when there's already two doing the job? Stay up the field

Vexed - yep, agree with that. Great player but the PC approach to not wanting to upset people is stupid.

If I scored for my country, in a hostile away environment, I’d be going mental.

Assist from Rice, goal by Grealish. Hilarious.

What a goal though - bamboozled the defence.
