Re: England vs Finland
2-0 at home against a FIFA ranked no 63 team is pathetic…
Lacking the killer instinct in front of goal…
Surely Carsely cannot be the answer…
Btw…FIFA should insist on only Nationals of their countries should manage National teams…with exceptions for smaller countries or less developed ones…

Re: England vs Finland
Kane and England are flat track bullies, I was asked if I would rather West Ham win the FA Cup or England win the World Cup?
I would rather West Ham win the League cup than England win World Cup
Don't know why but stop caring about England around 96

Re: England vs Finland
Kane has a great technique when he strikes through the ball, gonna be around for a while yet, what happened to Watkins?
Probably not against Carsley getting the gig, reason being a coach doesn't have to improve these players, it's just about motivating them and letting them off the leach on the pitch.

Re: England vs Finland
As for wonderbollocks Trent, it's all well and good performing Hollywood passes and crosses against donkey opposition, see both Ireland and Finland but to do it against decent opposition is when it really matters and he just wouldn't enjoy anywhere near the same amount of time and space on the ball to ping it around like he did over those 2 games. Easy on the eye when it comes off against minnow non entity nations but I can't get all excited by it when he can't cut it on the big stage on International duty in a Tournament like the Euros that just went. He'd get destroyed at right back at the next World Cup.

Re: England vs Finland
Bowens obligatory 5 second cameo appearance only for him to intelligently make space for others as well as always making sure of passing to his team mates, whilst everybody else in the Team in return of his excellent selfless team play either choose to ignore him or incapable of making simple passes back to him in the box. We all feel your frustration too Bowen, just got to keep plugging away you'll get the chance to score before being completely ignore once again...

Re: England vs Finland
'without him, we don't score'
Well, maybe. If England decided not to select anyone in his place.

Re: England vs Finland
That's not got much to do with your boy has it?! I don't think Carsley will dare play TAA in any game against competent oppo such is his lack of defensive nous and athleticism.
Re: England vs Finland
For the second goal is argue that the awful Madueke's (I'm sure you'll tell me he's a misunderstood genius now) touch was more impressive than a ball over the top of a league one defence. Lucky he wasn't asked to defend tonight otherwise you'd have been all confused.
Re: England vs Finland
So you’re moaning he gives the ball away, when he gave the ball away less than any other player?
and now the assist doesn’t count?
and the pass that opened up the second goal? What’s your excuse for that one?

Re: England vs Finland
It's a really pedestrian obvious fucking pass, had it been any other cսnt it would have been forgotten by now. It's fuckin bizarre.
Re: England vs Finland
Even using your slightly gay stats, 87% aint particularly good against league one oppo that's giving the possession away something like 13/14 times innit? Hardly a stat illustrating a passing maestro genius is it? It's a bit shit.
Ha, we wouldn't have scored without him? You can't really believe that, embarrassing!

from the bbc:
“So far, Trent Alexander-Arnold has had the second most touches of any England player (108) with full debutant Angel Gomes having the most (123). Again, Trent, behind Gomes, has the second highest amount of passes made (91) and at the moment has a pass completion rate of 87.1%”
I dont think touches is an accurate indicator of quality Goose son. Also second to the black Barry Bannon aint exactly impressive either. You lemon.
Re: England vs Finland
Hearing you on FM cuntchops, sideways, sideways, cross to nobody, repeat.....
I will say it's more entertaining than that minge Southgate's efforts though.

Re: England vs Finland
TAA is fucking toilet. Count how many times you hear after yet another bad ball/shit free kick/overhit cross 'surprising as we all know how much talent he has' or 'we all know where that ball would normally be' or other such excuse making. The bloke is pulling a mass hypnosis stunt on everyone I'm sure of it. What is that cսnt for?!
Re: England vs Finland
There’s no easy games. I mean Wales only stuck 4 past Finland.
Alexander Arnold was the creative force against what are essentially the B teams of Europe. If he and Kane could be relied on to produce against the best teams of Europe and World where space and time are at a premium and where we are getting 50% of possession or less then you can apply the superlatives to them as players but we haven’t really got too many if any World class players you need to win tounaments. Bellingham under a different system or coach might be the one but only time will tell because under “GarethBall” he was ineffective when it mattered.
All I know is Kane wont produce goals against the best defences but is great in qualifiers when you need someone to take chances against minnows. But the narrative for the media and pundits is that certain players and ones at certain clubs ( who are often successful because of the players and team they are in ) are the best there is and get over hyped only to come up short against the best. Watkins and Bowen may as well do as Ben White has done and call it a day internationally as they will not get the minutes and experience before the WC to make their mark because Carsley is nailed on to get the job and he is in awe of King Kane
We might make the semis at best again.

Re: England vs Finland
Yes Gomez did well, good to see a fellow short arse performing well. Strange to say it considering some England squads over the years but we have almost got too many players to choose from and i'm not sure he some of them are quite up there yet. Need the manager to pick his best squad next time rather than just a cap hand out.

Re: England vs Finland
Gomez looked very tidy.
Been the best in that role for a while and should keep it.
Can see interest from some of the bigger Premier League clubs.
Been a great shop window for him.
