Same ludo! A few good movies from Bill Forsyth around that time, as well as local hero with Burt Lancaster as the beach hobo, there was the excellent Gregory’s Girl and Comfort and Joy, if you haven’t seen them, worth checking out, same kind of quirky humour!

Blimey, never ventured into this thread and I see that you are all on the cutting edge with your music tastes!!!

As a result I am prepared to divulge that I just can't get enough of Dakota by the Stereophonics. Saw Coldplay at Cardiff last year and Kenny Jones came on stage and played Dakota with Coldplay and it was the highlight of a great night.

For some reason I woke up one night recently with Dakota in my head and I just can't get it out now, which is no bad thing. Fantastic song.

That is amazing Bungo.
This one is pretty cool as well.
The 180 Gs (effectively one bloke and his family) made a cover of the entire Sing to God album using only vocals and other body noises (clapping, stamping etc) for the percussion.

The cover of Dirty Boy is stunningly good.

Big jet tv on youtube waiting for the Beluga to depart. Got up there for 11 to video it coming in and all going well until a bus came along.

Maybe should have put this on the joke thread.
